Club house food as good as it gets with fantastic service. Pub is great with a social atmosphere. TVs for sports events. Golf course is semi private, very challenging and well maintained. Parking is very close by. Pro shop is well appointed and friendly professionals to assist.You wont be disappointed.

Here in Nov. 19. Course in excellent condition and staff helpful. Most fairways wide, greens in good shape. If you hit straight you will love this course.

Nicest guy ever greets us out front. Man that greeted us inside was super friendly. Course was very good but not quite great. Greens were the only thing that kept Halifax from 5 stars. Overall a fun experience and we will return soon.

Just okay fairways and greens. It is as though the grass wasnt dense enough on the fairway to support a ball creating a tight lie. Very picturesque course and great layout.

We just had a great time at Halifax Plantation. We had a group of 24 and every single person that works there is the best. The food is phenomenal, the course has a great layout and is very challenging. They wanted to accommodate us in everyway possible. We will be back. No question.

Just finished up a 4 day golf outing for 24 guys here. The cart staff, restaurant staff, and management were excellent. The course was in great shape and all enjoyed it. Place is a hidden gem. Thanks again Joe.

Good track. Fairways and greens in good condition. Undulating greens, but potential challenges with them are mitigated by the green speed, which is slow. Friendly staff, but a no frills place. No cart girl, so bring a cooler.

Course is in OK shape and it’s fun enough to play maybe once but nothing to write home about. Management booked us a time at 9:00am, when we showed up we were kicked around 4/5 different holes, while being yelled at by members, before we finally went on 5 to start ourself. They had about 50 members doing a Saturday outing but still let us book a time knowing that.Management at this course was horrible. Very easy to lie to my group over absolutely nothing, could have just been honest and said we booked too many people. Not worth the drive and won’t ever pay to play there again.

I am extremely torn in my review/rating of my round at Halifax Plantation. The golf course was very pleasant, laterally forgiving, fairways were in solid shape overall, and the greens while spotty/weedy in certain areas were very playable given the current circumstances (COVID19). The course was a great experience providing holes of various shapes/angles and some challenging bunker placements around certain greens. While the course itself was enjoyable, the management and operations of the course were a nightmare. I have never experienced such poor communication and lack of concern for guests. We booked a 4-some online through Golf Now for a Saturday morning tee time...when we booked 48 hours before our round, the mid-morning tee times were wide open. Arrived to the course 40minutes before tee time, paid in the pro-shop and immediately sensed the gentleman behind the counter was not warm/welcoming, seemed he would rather be anywhere else. No problem, we all have our days. Chipped, putted, and waited for our tee time....we headed to the 1st tee at our tee time and found another foursome at the tee, claiming they have our same tee time and several tee times after ours for their SAT-AM grouping. Naturally there is no starter and the gentleman in the proshop did not mention any change to my tee time or needing to go off #10...so I head to the Proshop, ask the gentleman and he says yeah, we had to rearrange the tee sheet a bit, you will just have to fit in behind that group ...that group was multiple groups playing all in a row for their weekly outing. I understand it is a semi-private club and would have no issue had our tee time been cancelled or notified ahead of time due to this member-group having their weekly outing. But we received no communication nor any concern from leadership, even once this issue was raised. The inmates were running the asylum as they paraded their own groups off the first tee. Very unfortunate as I would like to enjoy more rounds on the course but the management/operations team is either entirely incompetent or spineless with no regard for communication.

A great place to live and enjoy the best of what Florida has to offer! The golf course, restaurant and sports bar are all open to the public. The sports bar features live entertainment on Fridays nights and the NFL ticket on Sundays. The restaurant has great banquet facilities, a Sunday brunch and really nice buffets on most major holidays. HP is set adjacent to a state park along Ormond Beachs Scenic Loop. I have lived in this community since 2004 and my wife and I love it here!

Courses conditions were just ok. Really disappointed in the customer service. Just wanted to play 9 holes but they said they only charge the full price regardless of how many you are playing. Clearly on there website they have a cheaper price for 9. Either fix your website pricing or honor the prices.

This is the first time that Ive been to this golf course. The greens and fairways are in excellent shape. The rough is mode to 1/8 very acceptable level. I thought that the layout of the course was excellent. The pro shop personnel were very friendly and the food and the pub was very very good. This is an exceptional golf course.

Had a large group for a surprise birthday party. Staff was pleasant, unobtrusive, and extremely efficient. Food was good, salad was fresh.

Great place after a round of golf or if you live in this really great community homes from the 200s to over a million but they have a great club house open to the public with a nice pub area and a great restaurant area really good chef on hand with good selection nice public golf courses also a must try in Halifax plantation

Ownership has let the greens deteriorate into a terrible condition. I am surprised that the members havent complained. Two years ago I enjoyed playing there. There were a few diseased spots, but they were still puttable. I wont go back in the foreseeable future.

Went for Beef Stroganoff night. Was very good. Would have liked my choice of salad dressing. Price was ok. Overall a good experience.

Course has some challenging holes and its fun to play. The food at the restaurant is second to none encourage everyone to try it out.

We were there for special occasion Easter Buffet, so it was not an average drinks or golf or dinner at the club.The meal was excellent. All of the various items on the buffet were cooked really great.For a specialty, holiday buffet, the price was very reaasonable for the selection and taste.

Front nine have no grass, all brown. Back was a little better. The greens are gone. The trees are not level. Very disappointed .

Breakfast was maybe ok at best. Waffles and hard and dry and the pancakes heavy, dense and firm. Nothing fluffy about them. The service was good.

Love, love to play golf here. Used to be members of LPGA and, finally decided after the new angry owners brought in new management, to give Halifax Plantation a more serious look. My husband love it here. We are recently retired and everyone is so friendly. Everyone that works at LPGA seems to be in a bad mood all the time.

Great course setting and layout that plays extremely well. Fairly wide open fairways make this course fun and playable for beginners, and the challenge of each hole make it just as interesting for seasoned golfers.

Played for the first time at this course and enjoyed the facility and the day.

We went for the Sunday brunch. We enjoyed the good and the selection. A great place and a wonderful value for Country Club Dining. Service was friendly and professional.

I attended a 90th birthday celebration in the Tavern Room. The service was spectacular with giving us the perfect amount of time for ordering drinks and our meal. I had the best meal in a long time. My filet mignon was tasty and cooked to perfection. The sides were excellent as well. I had heard many of my neighbors speak highly of this place. My first visit makes me want to go back soon.

Nice layout but horrible tee boxes. These are some of the worst tee boxes I’ve ever played on. Almost all the tee Boxes are crowned an very uneven and every time I’ve played there the tee locations were in the front or back where the slope is worse. You would think they could make flat tee boxes....

I love living in Halifax Plantation and having the clubhouse. We ate there last night, there was live music and he did a fantastic job just a little on the loud side, we were with old friends and couldnt hear each other at all but the food and staff were fantastic..

The staff in restaurant and bar are great. Food is good. Acoustics throughout the building are horrible. Ligthing is horrible. Entrance into the clubhouse is old, outdated and needs an upgrade.

Enjoyed my round here. Look forward to coming back.
