Went to check out park and shingle creek trail. Very good for bicycle training or just cruising. Could use more shade. Bicycle path is asphalt and could use some paving to smooth it out. Easy ride for beginners. Overall a good experience expecting more people on a Sunday but it was vey hot today

Great scenic walk around the lake. Baseball fields. Small ️ goals are there for public use. spots. Landscaping can be done more often since the grass grows fast with the amount of rainfall.

My first time going and its a pretty nice park.

It is a wonderful place to walk, relax, have a family picnic, barbecue, etc. It s spacious beautiful, open daily from 7 am to 11 pm, there is a lake there as well, multiple fields. Some groups play soccer, others basketball, some just sit and enjoy the view, many on their bikes. During stay at home order, it was the place who helps many to stand those times.

Nice park, ideal for walking and for children to ride bicycles, as long as there are no events, because when there are, the cars walk at all speed the station and also park in the green areas. But apart from these events, it is very very beautiful and stays clean.

Super clean!! The trails in the back is a must see. The wetlands and then the lake just beautiful. I ran/walked the entire thing and ended up outside on the street and walked towards the park again. It took about one hour to do.

What a hidden gem this City of Orlando park is! It is free to enter and park. Right away you see the baseball field and it has clean well stocked bathrooms. Here at this park you will also find a cool geocache spot. There is a paved walking/biking trail that encircles the surprisingly beautiful and undeveloped Lake Fran. It was cold and blustery today, but we observed Sandhill Cranes, Anhinga, Egrets, and Vultures.I for one, am so happy this little slice of wetlands exists.What a great natural space in the center of urban development!

Great place for photography also a great place for exercise. There’s a bobcat if you get out there early enough.

A relaxing place to BBQ over the weekend or sit for lunch near work. Has a walking path and a nice lake with random birds and wildlife moving through.

Nice, clean park nestled away. You could miss it if you didnt know it was there. They have a nice, open walk trail and pavilions that would be perfect for a family reunion or birthday party.

Love this place. This place is beautiful. Just everything about it is. You can have a picnic play basketball, baseball, Soccer etc.... Walk around the park as exercise or walk your dog. This place is soooo peaceful and relaxing. I also seen a gator here once.

In town for work and checked out this place for my Saturday run. Loads of groups and families outside (organized sports?). Had a little trouble navigating the trails but got in a 5 mile run with no issues. Loved that there were loads of water fountains.

This beautiful park offers a scenic and quiet gem in busy West Orlando. Follow the paved trail away from the main park into Lake Fran Urban Wetlands. This part of the trail offers scenic views of cypress trees and wildlife. On Sundays various clubs meet at the park to play cricket which is fun to watch. Also, during the year many festivals are held at this park.

I went there for an adult baseball league game and it was beautiful and theres plenty of parking too. Nice clean bathrooms.

IS JUST GREAT is calmed you can play a sport go with your pet do a picnic just go is so good

I never found the playground

This is such a peaceful place in the middle of a busy area. I work nearby and sometimes take my laptop to work outdoors and its such a relaxing spot. Its usually not packed which makes the time here peaceful. If youre looking for a workout, you can run or walk around the lake or pick a spot anywhere to bust out a nice workout

It is very nice and safe my first time walking it and veryNice people i even run to someone i had not seen in 30 years lost my car keys and a young man find themHe were riding a bike and turned around and me did lose some car keys thank him so much for that he save the day

Taste of Bahamas was awesome and look forward to get again next year and bringing more family and friends

Need to be ready to run into stray(?) Dogs. The Gators do mitigate this problem somewhat. Is neat, youll see people riding off-road vehicles all over the place, I got a ticket for that growing up. There were bullet holes in the sign that said no firearms, they solved that by taking the sign out. Go orl

I was there for a soul food festival. It SUCKED!!! The food was not good and the entertainment was horrible. I will not go back there again.

Had alot of fun at this park last weekend. Bathrooms were the cleanest for a park. Would not mind cokming back at all lots of space for kickball and softball.

I really wish they would build a playground for the kids. I have to drive to shadow bay park or Barnett park. The area is clean though.

Love this park, the only negative is that they allow people to park on the grass near the covered benches and they blast their music so loud that it disturbs others while on the nature trail.

Great park got to enjoy a couple games of good baseball today

I like this place. Is good place.

Super clean park, plenty of parking, nice trail to exercise or just ride your bike through. They have two baseball fields, and they have huge fields for soccer or any type of physical activities. They do have restrooms, not the cleanest, and their water fountains are not cold at all, so bring a cooler with cold water if you plan to spend a hot summer day or evening out here.

Great little hidden park. Small kids area and larger kids area, plus a little basketball court and its very shaded but trees. Very little parking though.

This is a great park, open space to have a large get together, open fields, restrooms clean, two ball fields. Lake for you that likes to read or just relaxing.

A wonderful park to walk or run. The restrooms never ever opens on time. I once asked an employee what time are the restrooms supposed to open. His response was, Whenever I open them.

Nice park, great place to go running. But it is in a very bad part of town. Be on guard at all times. Dont be fooled by the beauty, I was almost robbed while running here, luckily I have quick feet. 5 starts for the view... 1 star for safety.
