This ride is very fast and exhilarating. It is a main attraction in Magic Kingdom. I recommend getting a fast pass as it is very popular. This ride is recommended for more older riders, as it is in the dark, and it goes very fast. Overall, it is a fast paced, fun filled ride.

This ride has so much potential, being so close to the space coast and the new era of space travel. Hope they will update this ride to modern day.

It’s a great ride, but it’s gotten very rough. Rode in the back row, and it threw me around like a ragdoll. For a much smoother experience, try sitting in the front and middle rows.

This is a nice ride, but if you get migraines easily or get sick easily then this is not the ride for you. I rode this and instantly had a migraine and was getting sick in the bushes. This kids loved it but not so much for me.

This rollercoaster is amazing. it’s dark so it really feels like you’re in space. for a top speed of ~40, it feels much faster!

Its old and it shows.. The idea of the ride is good and would be fun if it didnt beat the snot out of you. Id bet that when Tron opens, Space Mountain will be closed and the actual coasters will be replaced.. I hope so anyway..

Ive been to Disney World a few times and every time i get a fastpass to space mountain. The first time I went (Im not sure if this was a malfunction or they just didnt have them) there were no projections of stars and stuff, so it was pitch black except for the astronauts. I liked it better that way, as now that I see the support beams above the track I am afraid to raise my hands so not to hit the supports.

This is a fun ride to do and one of the more fast one in Magic Kingdom. Be prepared to queue though.

This is my personal favorite coaster of all time in the Magic Kingdom. The que sets the stage for an awesome experience. One word of caution. If your child is below 8 years old, even if they are tall enough, this ride may be to violent for them. The ride is in complete darkness and there is no warning when a quick turn approaches, therefore a neck injury for younger children is possible. That being said, as an adult, it is AWESOME !

Its an amazing park. They all are!If you have a bad back or a bad heart actually I dont recommend to ride. It is a must do on bucket list once in your lifetime. Lines can be quit lengthy be prepared and if its a summer day.. bring umbrellas for shade. Once inside it has great air to cool you off. It is a fun ride just very rough

Inside dark rollercoaster. Two cars of three people are joined together in single file. There are a number of drops and turns without warning so you do get thrown around. Not bad for a 25+ year old coaster.

This was a great ride even though it was kind of slow at a speed of 27 mph and the slowest space mountain in the world compared to the other ones. But this is a great ride and I would definitely recommend riding this. I also recommend you fast-pass this because both lines are really long.

My first ride I went on! On my first trip to Disney World. Its more intense then you think. I dont think my younger brother liked it too much, but its my favorite ride and I will definitley ride it again next time I go to Disney!

Amazing ride zipping through a huge indoor roller coaster in the dark. Fun, thrilling, and the fact that its in the dark makes it more exciting, as you cant see what turns lie ahead of you. The line was really long when we went, so keep that in mind.

This is my absolute favorite ride at the Magic Kingdom! The family rushes to this ride when the park opens so we can ride it a few times before it gets crowded. I remember as a kid being terrified of this ride. The family looks forward to the annual ride on Space Mountain. Its a little bit of a rough ride, but so worth it.

The last time I rode space mountain was almost 30 years ago. It was scary and impressive, 30 years later, the kids had the same impression. The line management and decor may be 30 years old, but the ride holds up. Fast pass and also wait in line early to get multiple rides in.

My absolute favorite Walt Disney World thrill ride. This isn’t your typical thrill rollercoaster. Instead of relying on speed or drops, the theme helps transform this into a very fun attraction for the whole family. Since the attraction is in the dark, you sometimes can get jerked around and might feel it later. The ride is not too intense and most of the time I find myself laughing throughout. For those who like to pose for pictures, the automated picture happens right after the colored tunnel at the very start of the ride. Wait lines can be long so grab a FastPass.

This is by far one of our favorite rides. I rode Space Mountain as a child and i was able to share that experience with the kids. We went on a Thursday and it was quite packed. There were approximately 2 hr wait times on all rides which is why we went with taking pictures the first part of the day, then enjoying the rids till night time. We were able to see the fireworks that night and pretty much hands down the best firework show imaginable. Then again we went in June.

I LOVED this ride! Especially at the Halloween event when all the lights were turned out! Such a fun experience!

A classic!! Definitely a must ride when going to the magic kingdom. Get a fastpass if you can because typically the standby wait runs between 30-90 minutes. It does have a single rider option but youll still need to wait in a bit part of the queue before having the ability to it. If you can try and ride both tracks (alpha and omega)

Space Mountain is one of my favorite rollercoasters in Disneys Magic Kingdom!Whilst it isnt the fastest or tallest rollercoaster out there itll certainly give you a nice rush.Its an all in the dark rollercoaster with rather fast curves and a few drops that will catch you off guard as well as some nice sounds and music to accompany your ride too.The only downside is that queues can sometimes be relatively long, but if youre willing to wait a while, this is a must-do and one ride youll certainly enjoy.

Separated me from my space wife. we arent even in the same photo. wasted a fastpass. mean employees. space should be ashamed. (one woman was nice though and offered to let us ride again)

Space Mountain is located in the Magic Kingdom of the Walt Disney World Resort properties in Orlando Florida. Space Mountain is a roller coaster ride in the dark. Twists and turns come at you very fast and you should not have any back issues or be pregnant to ride this attraction. I am 65 years young and I still ride this attraction because it is so much fun. It is my favorite ride in the Magic Kingdom bar none.

The 5 to one fast past ratio ruined the experience for me and after an hour and a half we had another 45 min wait. We left without riding and ended up with a bad experience. Not worth the time. By the way this happened at all rides. Third class citizenship was the treatment.

I absolutely hate roller coasters and the fact that this was in the dark makes me hate it even more. If you like roller coasters then space mountain is perfect for you, if you dont save yourself the trip. Tip: if the PSA says roller coaster TYPE ride than it IS a roller coaster

Space mountain is one ride our family always makes sure we ride. Its Its also a great way to cool off in the hot summer. The ride moved quickly. The ride as with all Disney rides was very clean. It will remain a favorite

A must ride coaster if youre traveling to Disney. The wait tends to be long. Even sitting in the front car it is hard to tell what turn or dip is coming up next. The ride itself is fairly decent in length which makes it worth the wait.

One major complaint I have against Space Mountain would be the ride itself.I heard somewhere that Space Mountain is supposed to be closing soon and getting updated/refurbished soon? If so, I hope they update the ride itself. We need neck support on this ride. Those sudden drops and sharp turns hurt your neck, personally not a fan of Space Mountain. If they can add a headrest, I (and probably many others) would enjoy this ride even more.

The Quintessential space roller coaster from your launch to your disembarking this is truly a fun ride out of this world with stars zipping by to a great soundtrack this is truly one of magic kingdom’s flagship attractions and it’s easy to see why

Unfortunately I couldn’t experience the space mountain because of a very rude staff name Ryan. He insulated me and my family pushing 8 years old kid to get out because we were in wrong line. That was not a good experience.

By far one of the best rides at Disney. The queue is entirely inside and air conditioned. Yes the ride itself is a bit rough but honestly that adds to the enjoyment of the ride to me. Also got the chance to ride it fully in the dark during MNSSHP and it was an amazing experience that I highly recommend.

A fun, rickety classic that is a joy for parents and younger kids alike. Its nice to have a thrill ride that doesnt require kids to be 50+. Fun to ride again during Halloween Nights, but always worth a ride or two otherwise. Tight turns, medium drops, dark view, space theming from the 80s - all fun.

My daughter loved it so good thing my mom and dad, were with us because I have seizures so I couldnt go on it because of the flashing lights. The flashing lights would trigger me to have a seizure found that out the hard way. My seizures arent full blown ones they are Partial seizures I dont have to go to the hospital or anything after Im have to sit down or lay down and let it pass after that Im just tired. Soon my daughter Wont be able to go on some of her favorite rides either shes getting a pacemaker.

Ive been going to this park since it opened...this ride is still as exciting for me as it was with an E ticket! (Not electronic!) Love that my daughters enjoy it as much!!

Great ride. Usually has a long line up so Fastpass is the way to go or at 10 mins. before closing you can run on a couple times with no line. We go in November (before Thanksgiving).

Fun roller coaster, a must do in magic kingdom. Only thing that prevents five stars is there is no head support. With it being in the dark you dont know which way to lean, with head support it would be much more comfortable.

This is one of my favorite roller coasters at Disney. It is a very fun family coaster. It can have a long line so definitely get a fast pass for it, but it is still worth a short wait if you don’t. It is a little rough, a bit like a wild mouse roller coaster, but it is still a lot of fun. You never see the drops coming and you can try both sides for a different experience.

The fast pass line was longer than the regular line, but no fast passes have been available the whole time Ive been at Disney for it. Disney needs to work on the fast pass system. Multiple times and rides had longer fast pass lines than regular lines. I went in the regular line and they shut the ride down right before I got on. Disney staff should be open and honest about ride shutdowns, and why they happen, but they werent. Staff was very vague and couldnt give an estimate of when the ride would come back online.

Such a great ride.I was scared of rollercoasters before, but now I truly enjoy them. I feel very safe now. Good fun.

Well, most people arent old enough to remember, but Space Mountain used to be MUCH better before they refurbished and improved it several years ago. When the ride first opened in 1975, the entire space inside the dome was open, and looked just like a huge, starry sky. It was still very dark, but stars were everywhere, and the enclosed area was so big you actually felt like you were in space. Comets and satellites would race across the entire ceiling, and you see the coasters zooming overhead (each coaster had a glow-in-the-dark stripe on both sides.) Everyone was screaming, the coasters were roaring, and it was just and incredible experience. When they improved it, they installed the current low ceiling above the loading/queue area, and destroyed much of the incredible scene/ambiance the ride originally had. The ride is still okay, but it is now just a dark roller-coaster, instead of the fantastic space-rocket ride it used to be.

Dont be Afraid of the DarkSpace mountain is such a fun ride. I wish I could come on a day when the wait time wasnt over an hour. Thats really the biggest issue with the ride. You cant always count on fast passes either but I suppose it makes it fair. But man, is it a thrill being on a coaster in complete darkness. There really is no other kind of experience like it. This is a must ride over any other coaster at Magic Kingdom.

Was a joke please dont waste your time or money going to magic kingdom. Overcrowded 1 hour wait times and overpriced. Please head my review and visit some of Floridas other great parks and have more fun for less money.

Very thrilling and fun. It was my first ride and was enjoyable. It is good for people who dont like heights (like me) since you cant really see anything, but everything else is still there like the speed turns and drops.

The ride is extremely rough, and getting worse every day.The ambiance is the same as it has been for 20 years. Its time for a big refurb and replacement of track. Its fun, but the ride itself is getting painful. They wont close it until after the 50th in 2021, though, so it will get a lot worse before it gets better.

One of my favourite rides In the park. Highly suggest a fast pass. You feel completely immersed once the ride launches you into space. Ride is always kept very neat!

This is easily one of the best rides at Magic Kingdom hands down, and possibly one of the better rides in any amusement park in America. Its not the fastest, the tallest, the newest, but the amount of history and nostalgia on this ride are unprecedented. Plus you never ready for those drops in the dark! This is a must ride for any visit to the Magic Kingdom, or any trip to Disney in general. Definitely a FastPass ride.

FastPass at this ride was absolutely the most disappointing part of our entire trip. Reserved our spot 60 days ahead of time to wait over an hour. All that for just an ok ride.

Loved this ride as a kid. I would feel the nerves and excitement. That was when the coaster had a glow in the dark stripe on the side if it and I thought I remembered being able to see more on the ride. Today fast pass had ruined this ride completely. Unless you can get a pass youre stuck for hours in a dark tunnel watching other people pass you and they didnt pay any more than you did! They need to get rid if fast pass and let the line move naturally without a thousand people cutting. Wasnt line jumping frowned upon at one time? A 40 minute wait would be 20 without fast pass and it would move better and seem way more bearable.

The ride has a long wait but it is worth it.if you cant handle rides that are fast or have random drops,maybe even your sacred of the dark then dont go on this ride. but if you can, ride it cause it normally has like a 2 hour wait. (Sorry parents)

Space mountain has always been my favorite. This ride is amazing and awesome, if you look closely next time you are on this ride, you could see a hidden Mickey. And yes, they are real. The wait times for this ride is never bad at all. The line always keeps moving. The ride is also clean and the waiting queue is really clean.

Space Mountain is a thrilling, high speed rocket that takes you to outer space, however I prefer the rocket in California (the ride is a little less bumpy). The queue line can get pretty long and its fun to look at the stars as you pass and try to find shapes but it can be difficult with small children. Also would recommend putting away your magic band, a friends almost got lost on this ride! Overall, a lot of fun!

My son is a make a wish child, we were all wearing our shirts and pins, a Genie pass, and we even stated we are staying at Give Kids the World and the worker at space mountain told me its nothing special and get in the back of the line.No special privilege like at Universal.I am very disappointed that Disney does not speed us along.Not cool Disney...

Space Mountain is one of the most thrilling roller coasters at Disney and my favorite. The coaster isnt superfast but the near total darkness gives the illusion it is and the fun is increased with its many turns. While the line wait is usually very long, they installed quick interactive games to play while you wait in line.

One of my favorite ride at Magic Kingdom! If you havent done it it is in the dark and its super fast. It os an inside rollercoaster but does NOT go upside down. Small children cannot do this.

Its a classic part if Magic Kingdom, and a must do at least once. If you are overweight or large busted tbough, the ride can be somewhat uncomfortable. Not the best ride for someone who has a fear of darkness either.

Four stars if you have a fast pass; two stars if you dont. Youre in a two hour wait for an under two minute ride. Lots of twists and turns at high speed, no gut wrenching big drop offs, no going upside down. Its unique in that its mostly in the dark but then again in you cant see much either.

Disney is doing pretty bad again with this fast pass. I am wainting 2 hours and 40 minutes in lane. The division is 50 people for fast pass and 5 for stand by lane. This is a total disrespect. I wish could give 0 star. The estimate was 1 hour and 40 minutes and now I am still in lane.

Went on the roller coaster ride in the daytime had a great time. We went on the ride also during Mickeys Not so Scary Halloween the ride totally blacked out and played Holloween music during the ride was a great time.
