The ride is very fun. I waited about 30 minutes and it was my first time riding this ride. It’s a fairly mild roller coaster, so it’s pretty smooth but still really fun and exciting. It goes pretty fast and halfway through the ride it takes you through a mine with the dwarfs and I thought that was a cool addition. Im not a fan of roller coasters, but this one was fun.
Love the ride the first time I went on this ride I was 3 and I loved it I even put my hands up it is a mint train it rocks seats a little small for bigger people recommend riding it do! Really fun ride
This was an exhilarating rollercoaster in Magic Kingdom. It had good scenery, and as a rollercoaster, very fast. It was fun to go through the mines. The only problem is the wait time, as it is very popular. I recommend getting a fast pass for this ride.
This ride was neat, but not quite fast enough. A tiny bit more speed would be golden. We waited 3 hours and 20 mins. All rides had high wait times, so we waited on this one. Fast pass line was going pretty quick even though it was long. Standby line was at a standstill. No single rider line.Once we got close enough, multiple cycles I counted that they were letting about 7-10 regular riders go in about a group of 80 fast passers. Thats a lame ratio, and makes sense why it took 3+ hours for us to get there. It looks great on the outside, but the ride is not worth that wait. Not at all.
This was enjoyable but I remember queuing for well over 2 hours to go on it.
This is how all roller coasters should be. Not straight ahead drops. Zigs and zags left and right and little vertical bounces. The way the cars sway from side to side is neat too. This is a very fun ride and even if you (like me) do not like roller coasters, you will like this one I promise!
Ride was a lot of fun and you could tell it was a newer ride because of how smooth the roller coaster operated. The theming brings you right into the movie and is stretched all the way through the queue line. Not a bad seat on the whole train however if you can get in the front then I would highly recommend it cause you get a such great view of the decor from there!
Love this ride, the line is always long but it is fun
This is a very smooth ride. The standby wait line has interactive areas throughout to help keep the children occupied. This is a very nice feature to have on this ride which typically has a line wait over an hour. If you can get a fast pass for this ride do book it. The ride itself is short, but it’s very fun!
Great ride if you dont have to wait in the stand-by line. This is a relatively gentle coaster, and should be fine for younger children. Fast passes can be tough to come by, but we always get one the week we are here by keeping an eye out for cancellations. You would be surprised at how many good fast passes become available only a day or two out. No guarantees, but odds are good.
This ride is not worth waiting for a long time. The only reason it’s so popular and has such long lines is because it is new. It feels like the ride last one minute. Big thunder mountain is similar with shorter lines. If you want to ride this ride definitely get a fast pass it’s the best way to experience it right now. Fast pass line felt like it was about three minutes long. Please note, when we got in line the cast member at that area said it was a 75 minute wait time. We where in line for two hours and 30 minutes. Not worth it.
Not the biggest ride! But what can you expect? Its Disneyland a kids town! Very fun for little ones! The wait is a little bit too long but worth it! I enjoyed my ride with my kids:)
The ride itself although short is fun and well themed. I would however recommend heading for this ride first thing on park opening or getting a fast pass if available. The wait time often exceeds 2 hours, youll get people trying to cut in front of you and then youll sit forever waiting to move a few feet in the queue. On the day I went, the girl that was apparently in charge of the loading was not loading the train to capacity, looking for single riders, or making sure that the stand-by queue was moving at all. The wait time said 2 hours, but we waited closer to 3 hours.
My favorite ride at Disney, the drop isnt very high. Me and my friend went to new years for Disney, we went on that ride together, We LOVED it. Best ride at Disney! 10/10 reccomend it.
I was so disappointed in this ride. The wait time said 110 minute when it was well over 180 min. I missed a fast pass and had to reschedule my lunch TWICE because we were still waiting in line. This ride is different from others. The line does not MOVE. You stay in the same place for soooo long it’s very inconvenient and annoying. The ride is all of 4 minutes, I won’t knock it all the way. It was cute. But not worth 3 hours. I’m so disappointed that I had to sacrifice so much time and another fast pass because Disney didn’t put the correct wait time, being wrong by over 40 min is NOT OKAY.I would never ride this if I didn’t have a fast pass for it . It’s not worth the wait.
This was probably my favorite roller coaster in all of Walt Disney World. Smooth and fun ... and we didnt have to wait in line after finishing our early breakfast at Be Our Guest. The cars pivot/swing side-to-side making it less jerky than some of the other coasters.
Very smooth ride, but a very long wait. I suggest you just get a fastpass.
It was super fun and I got in in literally less than 5 minutes but i know this not the case for everyone ( the ride was closed and it just opened back up) The ride its self was fun but it was a bit short. Be careful not to pull the seat belt down to far because you wont be able to get it back up( which kinda hurt) but overall it was so much fun!
Fun ride but busy. It is always a good time though here. Highly recommend it! It has great big drops but I wish it was a little longer.
I hadn’t been on any kind of ride in about 15 years, and I’m not much for roller coasters, but I thought this ride was a lot of fun. The seats are a little tight, but the ride was a blast! My biggest complaint is that it’s such a short ride. Just as you’re really starting to get into it, it’s over. This was especially disappointing, given that we waited over 2 hours to get on the ride. We woke up at 5:30am, were on Main Street before 8am, stood for almost an hour at the rope drop for Fantasy Land, and ran straight to this ride as soon as they dropped the rope — and we still had to wait in line for over 2 hours to get on this ride. By the time we were done, it was a little after 11am, and all we had done was this 3-minute ride. I think the ride, however short, is worth it, but try to find any means possible to minimize your wait time. The day we went, Extra Magic hours for Disney Resort guests were from 8-9am, so that could have been a big reason why the line was already so long when we got there. We were also unable to get Fast Passes for this ride. Try to get those well in advance if you can.
It’s a fun enough ride if you don’t have to wait. If the wait is over 30 minutes I wouldn’t bother. The ride is very short but the wait seems to always be 120 or more minutes. Not worth it. Similar in theme to Big Thunder Mountain but the latter is much better.
A great ride for families, youre sure to enjoy it. Just dont ride it when its raining...I learned that the hard way....xD
Let me be clear - I like this ride. Its fast, fun, and Id absolutely wait in line to do it. However, it is NOT worth a wait of over 75 minutes (your tolerance for waiting may be higher or lower). Do not spend your entire day waiting three to four hours to do this coaster. I could literally ride every other ride I enjoy in Magic Kingdom in the span of time some people wait to get on this coaster. If riding Mine Train is all you want to spend your day doing then have at it. But remember that Magic Kingdom has so many AWESOME things that I hate to hear about people who spend so much time worried about one ride. Relax, plan out some Fastpasses, and just take the time to enjoy all the park has to offer.
So fun and great for the whole family!
A very well made and family-friendly rollercoaster ride with incredible detail throughout the whole way.Even before you even get to ride youll see a lot of well made and detailed structure with even some small little fun things to keep the kids entertained while in the queue. The animatronics during the ride are incredibly well made keeping it true to the original animation from 1937 of Snow White and itll certainly make you feel nostalgic. It is not the fastest and most exciting ride as its mainly designed for the kids but if you appreciate the little things and want to have a nice time with your kids then this is one rollercoaster you wont regret giving it a go at least once.
This is one of the best new additions to the Disney parks in recent years! Very small seats but such a fun little ride! A must when visiting the Magic Kingdom
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, this complaint is mostly for the staff. We waited around an hour plus for this ride, and soon to be told by reaching the rope entrance to then wait in line again to get on the ride. This lady staff member at this time let only 10 standbys get in line. After she let those 10 standbys get in line, she opened the rope to the Fast Pass line and let the entire line get behind us (20+ people), and instead of closing off the rope to prevent more people from getting in line to then get more standbys in line. Guess what she does? She keeps the rope open and yaps to another staff member letting more people from the Fast Pass line get in line and causing the standby wait time to increase even more. By the time we went on the ride and got seated, this lady still had the rope open still letting the Fast Past line getting in line first. This is pretty ridiculous. No wonder why this ride has huge wait times, some employees just cater to the Fast Pass line first then the standbys.
Smooth roller coaster ride that features the seven dwarfs, snow white, and the witch. Not scary at all, but I dont think the wait in the queue is worth the short ride. I would suggest waiting for a 30-45 wait time before you go ride it. I would rather wait in line for Big Thunder Mountain which has amazing views.
My favourite ride. Worth it to be for more than an hour in the queue. So much fun!
This was my first coaster its fun
This is one of the hyped up ride which usually have very long wait. Unlike Splash Mountain or Big Thunder, this one accommodates small number of people for each ride. This exacerbates the wait! If anyone need to wait more than 45 min, it probably not worth it.
The wait times for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train make no sense. It’s not new, it’s not thrilling, and there’s not any current cinematic production related to it. The coaster is so short that you spend more time waiting to get off of it than you do actually riding. The independently moving mine cars aspect doesn’t really add much to the experience. Unless the wait time is really short, you’re not missing much by skipping this one.
I Hate It Because it’s a roller coaster and Do Not like to ride on roller coasters because they teur and Make me Throw Up
Gotta say, a bit disappointed in this ride. I understand its a family coaster but it was very short. We were so lucky to have a fast pass for this ride or I think I would have been a little more upset. Smooth coaster but for the normal waits (60-180 min) is just something I would not wait for.
Fun ride for everyone. Line moves quickly. Like other reviewers, seats can be pretty tight, but nothing worse than space mountain (more room then space mountain actually). Ride itself is a fun coaster, plenty of turns and hills, but nothing overly intense. Fun ride, maybe has re-ride value but only if the line suits you.
Cute attraction that is fun to experience if you have a Fast Pass or it isnt busy. It isnt worth the long waits at time. The animatronics of the Seven Dwarfs are great!
Another great roller coaster in Disney World! This one is based off of one of Walt’s original stories. The wait here can vary from 85-150 minutes. The ride is a smooth but ‘chunky’ ride, and is above average in terms of length. A FastPass is definitely needed for this ride, as the line can get very long at times.
This ride was the biggest disappointment at the park. We started out waiting in the line until the ride shut down. Thankfully, they gave us fast passes for waiting and we returned later and got right on. This ride doesnt do Snow White justice. The old Snow White ride was so much better. Even our kids ages 7, 9, and 11 hated the ride. Unless your child is super young .. skip this ride. It is not worth the wait.
Its an ok ride, I liked that there are some things to play while in the line, since its looong.
We did not have a fast pass for this. But made this the first ride of the day, along with 100’s of others. The ride had a good 60+ minute wait but was worth every minute.
You know I just wasn’t that impressed. The wait was long every day but we finally gave in to see what all the fuss was about. I expected this to be on par with slinky dog dash at Hollywood Studios, but it wasn’t nearly as fun. The ride was short and generally unimpressive. I have it three stars for the hills and underground cave scenes but prob won’t wait in line to ride it again.
As good as thunder mountain, not as good as Cedar Point... Ive never gone to Cedar Point... sad emoticon.
Even though I gave it a 1 star my family and I actually loved it and would have rated it 5 stars; here is my reason for my rating. When we started the line the wait time was 125min it actually ended up being about 205min. Once we were close enough to the boarding area I noticed staff was letting only 7 standby passangers to go through. Once we reachd the rope I counted about 16 carts full of only fastpass passangers going by. Unfortunately this ride ended our night at Magic Kingdom, we would have loved to be able to enjoy other rides. Maybe next time.
Definitely fast pass, check your phone for fast pass that come up, you might get lucky, I was able to switch to this ride by luck, search throughout the day for better fast pass options, example if you have winee there pooh and seven mines becomes available at any time, definitely switch
***NOT WORTH THE WAIT***The wait times for the Mine Train are very unreasonable and don’t make much sense. The ride itself is only a minute or two and my group ended up waiting for an hour and 45mins. The coaster is a moderately fast one with a few dips and turns, but nothing new or unseen.
It’s a kids Rollercoaster with two hours line. I wish thar Disney was more clear about how each ride actually is. This one is a real trap.
Really loved this ride!
Like the ride but the maintenance issues seem like they are not keeping up. Many breakdowns cause lost fun.
Don’t believe the hype!!! Can’t believe we waited in this line, we only had to wait 30 minutes on the 120 minute wait estimate and was very excited! Seats were very small and narrow, the ride itself had many very slow parts only to speed up for very brief turns. So disappointed, hopefully the train ride they are building will be a good addition it looks big!
Never got to do this, too busy. Use your fast pass...
Fun ride inspired by the seven dwarves, lots of cool scenery and the coaster sections sway independently. The coaster track itself was low key.
45 min during magic hours but felt like 20 min...the ride is fast as hell! Was great and glad I was able to catch it! Seats are tight when your 68! Well worth it!
A great ride for the young kids. Any older than 10 and it will be a bore if looking for a thrill ride. No way worth 60+ min wait to ride.
I dont know when this attraction was added to the park, but make sure you dont miss this one. Its a very fun roller coaster and there are some neat things to see as youre waiting in the queue. Very good addition to the park that Im sure will last for a long time
“2 hour” wait time is actually 4 hours. Don’t ride without a fast pass I guess. Garbage ride anyway
Kiddie coaster that Disney promotes as a big coaster attraction. Its cute, but way too short.
I had a fast pass and only waited 10 min with a 70 min Wait time. The ride was so great. I sat in the back which apparently is supposed to be more thrilling. It was very smooth and a a lot of curves
There is a reason to wait for 3 hours for this ride. Lots of fun.
Seems more thrilling than it is, very smooth ride for a “roller coaster” type attraction. The theming is amazing, awesome cue. Keep an eye on the wait times for standby because they will go through the roof at times. Definitely worth riding though
Line is long. Get fast pass early if you can! Once you get further up theres some things to keep you somewhat entertained. Ride is shorted the big thunder but very cool! The dwarfs are working hard!!
Super smooth ride. Amazing theming. Just wish it was longer. Ride is a tad short for the long wait time it usually carries.
This coaster is a definite MUST ride when going to disney. My nieces are 5 & 6 and they both wanted to ride it again and again but the lines were always long and it’s extremely hard to get a fast pass for, or at least it was for us. But they enjoyed it and I know if we go again we are definitely riding it more than once.
Interesting ride experience due to the way the trains are set up but honestly unless you can get yourself a fast pass this should be a ride you skip if youre on a time constraint.
Incredible immersive themed rollercoaster. Not for thrill seekers.
It was quite a good ride. But it was definitely not worth the 90+ minutes wait
One of my favorite rides at any Disney park. Tons of fun and very beautiful when you go through the mine.
Truly is one of my favorites in the park!
The second best ride at Disney World, after Toy Story Mania! The blend of it being a coaster, with characters is perfect. Good songs. Good presentation.
I definitely agree the seats are really tight but it wasnt too uncomfortable. I rode it 4 times during an After Hours event, walk on and I got to choose my row each time. I enjoyed this, the dwarfs are great, its just a little bit too short. I wouldnt want to wait more then 20 minutes to ride it.
My husband and I waited online with our son to go on the ride. Once it was our turn they separated us and allowed these two workers to cut in line so they could go on the back of the train. I asked them if I could sit back there so I could be behind my family and the told me no. Shame on the girl who was in charge and shame on these two workers !!
The 7 Dwarves Mine Train (DMT for simplicity) is a decent ride if you catch it at 15-20 minutes or less. It’s an incredibly smooth ride with somewhat tight seats. For whatever reason (probably just for the name) the ride hits 120-180 minute wait times very very often. Even late or early in park hours it’ll sit at 45 min till closing. The ride doesn’t have much to it; no drops that’ll get your adrenaline moving even a slight. Only real speed is spent on very quick and brief turns.Simply can’t recommend this ride even to people who go every year. It’s nice for people under 10, but if you’re looking for any type of thrill, Pirates’ drop does better. For an actual coaster, go for Big Thunder or Space Mountain. Will save you an hour and give you something to remember.
If you’re lucky enough to get a fastpass for this ride, do it! The line for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is never-ending. If you can’t, the best time to ride is first thing or in the evening with extra magic hours (for hotel guests). We went during extra magic time and the line was half or less of what it normally is.Unfortunately, I miss the old Snow White ride, but riding alone through the mines with the Dwarfs is fun too. The line has some fun little games while you wait, and be on the lookout for Snow White & the witch at the end.
We arrived during early Magic hours (8:00am) stand bye line was already at 75 minutes. I booked fast passes 60 days out and couldn’t get one. We went to Magic Kingdom two different days and they still couldn’t manage to get the time under 75 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous, if you can’t get stand bye line down and you don’t offer enough fast passes re evaluate the flow of your ride/ line que. Shame on Disney this needs to be fixed ASAP. Note we went during the middle of January(slow time ; right....)
This is one of my most favorite rides at Disney world besides the classic rides. The animatronics are crazy cool. Also we got on their ride during the sunset, so we got to see some BEAUTIFUL views. Also the ride is so smooth. So it’s cool that it is a nice thrill ride but also a beautiful ride to see. Love it. But defensively get a fast pass for this ride. We did have one but the wait was 1 hour and a half.
This is a moderate pace ride, this is meant for small children and not teenagers if you want a nice thrill ride, The imagineers did a phenomenal job with this ride. You will love it if you love Snow White but for me, as a teen, it wasnt as thrill as I assumed and did not live to the hype, but no telling you wont love it!
OK so the mine train at Disney World is what I call AnOK ride it’s in the middle of smooth and bumpy like what I mean is it has it rough moments and it has its super smooth moments so it does have a couple of rough moments and especially if you got your hair done at Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo teak it all pinch the hair extensions So it does pretty much have it rough moments but there are some parts that are rough moments so definitely not worth the wait I found it to be really rough
The line is incredibly long for such a boring ride. There isnt much to look at in the slow parts, and the drops are unbelievably small--I wasnt even sure they were the real drops until we slid into the exit area and I felt a sinking feeling that I had just spent 100 minutes waiting in line for this ride...
This is a really fun coaster that is age appropriate for just about everyone. Unlike Thunder/Space mountains this is a much newer ride that is smooth and doesn’t beat you up. The line can be extremely long though, and I’m not sure it’s worth an hour plus wait.
This is a fun smaller rollercoaster that still delivers thrills without being too scary. The seats are a bit small if you are a larger person but itll fit most people. If it werent so uncomfortable for me I would ride it again but for now once is enough. The waits are very long so you might need a fast pass for it. Most of the waiting area is covered so thats a plus.
We went here first thing since we hadn’t been on it before and it was highly rated... said there was a 55 minute wait, we stupidly stood in line for 2 hours. Unless you have small kids that are really excited about this, I wouldn’t wait more than 45 minutes at the most.
Great ride for the whole family! Our youngest is seven and was able to ride it, definitely worth the wait!
Very doable ride if youre afraid of something too wild. I didnt notice any gut-wrenching drops and the theme of the ride was executed perfectly.
One of the new rides so prepare to stand and wait. Even with our fast pass set up for this ride we had to wait a bit. Other then that the ride is a lot of fun. Takes you around some snow white themes and at the end the cart rocks like the dwarfs walking home from the mine.
A very well themed Snow White attraction. Perfect for families to ride. But It can be annoying that the line can be the longest in the park.
Love this coaster but refuse to stand in line to ride it ... line can sometimes be 120 minute wait. Fast pass is the only way to go!
Short but existing, 2 hours line for a 2 minutes ride, fast pass is imposible without a reservation weeks in advance. If you have plenty of time and have tried most of the other rides then sure, go for it.
Disney Attention to Detail. And the ride experience is awesome
A pretty great coaster. The theming is great. This is a great introductory coaster for a child or individual who has never been on one before since it is not as extreme as other coasters (like Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain). Love that they re-used some of the set pieces from Snow Whites Scary Adventure for this ride!
We waited 2 hours in line because they decided not to tell us there was mechanical problems. We just thought the line was moving slow. The ride itself was fun but the waiting time was terrible.
