LOVE THIS PLACE! Value for money is an understatement, hours of fun for only a few $. A huge variety of games keeps this big kid at heart very occupied. Also the customer service? Unrivalled. It’s one of those ‘good ole days’ type places where they often round up the points and do it with a smile. Been here many many times and couldn’t rate this place high enough!

We had a birthday party here today and the customer service was above and beyond! Everything was clean, set up, and attended to at all times. The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout our party. Pizza was good and they kept the soda coming. They had a lighter for our cake when we forgot. Will definitely do more parties here!

This is a cute arcade! The entire space was well lit. There is a variety of games that are a suitable for all ages. They also have a card system that allows you to tap a card against a designed screen instead of inserting nickels, which works really well for smaller children. The employees were professional and kept every thing moving.

So much fun at Nickel City tonight! They have new games and its really clean. The customer service is AWESOME and the pizza is actually yummy! Do yourself a favor and buy a couple rounds of laser tag too!

Not only was the arcade experience phenomenal, but the cherry on top was the prize we got. the instant weirdo glasses (his and hers) added to the fun immensely even after we had left. we highly suggest going to smiths with the glasses on until you see your government teacher. then give him a compliment and leave the store.

My whole family lives loves this place, from my toddler, tween, to my husband! The employees were out cleaning the games off regularly and had hand sanitizer. The bathrooms were also very clean! Cheap fun for the whole family.

This place was ok. My family and I did have fun and it was very affordable. However, I probably wouldnt come back. Its small and over crowded and a few of the games took my money, but did not work.

Its crazy how much my kids like this place. The games are maintained pretty well and there is a good variety. The place is small, and there isnt a lot of places to sit if your not playing. The food is what youd expect, but the kids will eat it up.

I loved the fact that they had both old and new machines. Classic arcade machines from the 80s were a blast.POINTERS/PERKS - N/ANot sure what the pointers and perks would be, but Im sure there are some.EMPLOYEES - 5I only noticed one employee on the busy Friday night that we went. He was at the front entrance before we actually could enter the arcade. He was helpful and patient. Other than that I didnt see any other employees nor out on the arcade floor...

Went here for my birthday in February for the laser tag. Two members of my group had malfunctioning vests and couldnt play and the older gentleman was being a real stinge about giving us a new round for it. Younger guy stepped in, was super nice and gave us a free round as they should have. Other than that its been a great time coming here.

Driving up, I had some reservation. The sign is pretty dilapidated. But once we walked in I was pleasantly surprised! They had very fun games! It was clean!The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was kid friendly as well. My kids didnt know where to go first! But they quickly got the hang of things, and would have gladly stayed forever.I felt like the price was fair. There is a two dollarish cover charge, and then you pay per game after that. There is a little pizza eating area that is clean and well maintained. We didnt sample the pizza, but it smelled good.

This place is awesome for when it is too hot or too cold to be outside. My kids have so much fun playing the games and watching all the people.They also have really good pizzas.

Three staff does a pretty good job of keeping the arcade clean and organized. They is a pretty good variety of games, even some for little kids. The entry fee is close to $3, and the games are counted in nickles, but I dont think any of them are just 1 nickle (money is paid in advance onto cards). My kids are young, so they arent very calculated about how they spend their coins, but $5 last them about an hour, and the total cost is $24 if both my husband and I go with them.

We came hear too take my son for hes birthday since we couldnt throw a party do to coved19 this year the nice gentleman gave my son extra tokens we had a blast

We took my son here for his birthday today we had a great time here the staff is awesome and very helpful especially Steve he made sure my son had fun gave him extra game cards and a birthday gift we’ll definitely be back here soon

What a fun place to play some arcade games. There’s a decent assortment of games for all ages, and the price is really reasonable. My family got about an hours worth of playing for $10 which was great. I only saw one game “out of order” which shows they care about fixing them. Great place to bring your family. I recommend it.

They added new games and they are a lot of fun. Good place to take a date and see how you guys mesh. They got a photo booth. Tons of fun shooter games like tomb raider, walking dead, alien terminator, transformer, and Halo. Lots of fun ticket games. My personal favorite this clown carnival game. Take a date have a good time.

Literally perfect for cheap but entertaining first date

We have so much fun here! And my son loves it! We never have any problems with the games and we always have fun with one another! The staff are very kind and are always giving us our coins back when the games have problems from time to time! We will definitely be back and we will definitely be recommending this arcade to our friends and family!

I love the selection of games and the wonderful men who own this place. They go beyond expectations. They are proactive to help out if a game is running incorrectly. They really care about their business, and update the games often. This is one of my favorite places to go. We sometimes go there for the pizza alone, it has a classic, nostalgic taste full of flavor. Thank you Nickel City for years of fun memories!

Normally I have a great time, but their guitar hero machine has been out of sync for a while. Maybe Ill go back after they fix it.

Cheap good fun with great staff!

Came here for a work meeting. The staff was very friendly and helpful and never let our pitcher of soda run low. The pizza was a lot better tasting than you would expect from any other arcade place. Games looked fun and laser tag was good

As far as arcades go, in Provo you cant do better than Nickel City. They have a variety vintage and new games, and for about $10 you can keep yourself entertained for a few hours. You wont be winning any huge prizes like that, but Its actually not as much of a rip-off as arcades are known to be. Great for dates or friend outings.

So much fun and one of the best date nights ever. I would recommend it to anyone. You spend 10 bucks and you are playing games for about and hour and a half for two people. They have so many games from childhood as well as your classic arcade games. They even have guitar hero! Our only complaint was they did not have anything to sanitize any of their machines and me and my wife had to use a lot of sanitizer afterwards. You never know who touched the game last. Suggestion to the owner would be to create a sanitation system to attract more business in this crazy time.

I have not been to a nickel arcade for over two decades. I thought it was an amazing and fun place. My whole family had a blast. The staff was really friendly. We didnt use all our tickets, but as the girl was tallying our tickets, she gave us some extra ones. I guess there some kind of bonus program or something, but I thought it was pretty awesome.

I enjoy the nickle arcade because I feel like I am not wasting a ton of money for a little fun. I hate that they have moved to credit system instead of actual nickles like before. Using actual change is part of the old arcade experience.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The owners are the sweetest people in the world and really just want you to have fun! It’s perfect for date night and very affordable ($10 a person is usually PLENTY)They also have the $6 unlimited laser tag on Tuesday nights which is always a good time.

Sigh... Its the shadow of an arcade. Its 90% gambling ticket based games... Zzzzzzzz... The employees are nice though.

I decided to book a party for my 9 year old daughter and we absolutely loved it! Not only were the accommodations set up neatly and cute, our host for the 2 hours we were there was so attentive! I couldnt believe it. He was incredibly kind and thoughtful. He would actively go out into the arcade to look for me asking me if we needed anything. You wont regret having a birthday party here! I only wish we wouldve booked here for previous birthday parties. Thank you for making us feel special! I wish I remembered that guys name who took care of us. He was the best and deserves a raise!

My teenage boys like coming here. I would say 20 dollars per kid is a fairly decent amount of money to send them with so they can have a few hours of entertainment. I believe its only 1 dollar per person for laser tag . They have a pretty decent selection of arcade games and the kids really enjoy going here. They usually go here around a few times a month depending. The staff has always been very helpful at this location as well. Thank you.

Newer games, laser tag is fun for younger ones. Descent sized party rooms and the customer service is top notch.

We always enjoy coming to Nickel City. My husband and I use to come when we first were married and now we get to bring our kids to enjoy the fun here. The building is always clean and the games are taken care of. We have had a few of our kids birthday parties here and its always a blast. They take care of everything. No need to stress about having a party.

$5 bucks of tokens gives you 100 tokens which is plenty for an hour or two of all the fun you could want!

Ive gone here since I was around 10. It just keeps getting bigger and better, the workers are responsible and kind and the owner is the sweetest! the games are always changing and the best part is, its cheap! definitely a good experience.

Had a birthday party for my kid here and the manager on duty was extremely accommodating and it was a great time for the kids. Renting a birthday room was actually a great deal especially with the pizza and laser tag.

Im probably not the best person to be reviewing an arcade. I dont generally like arcades anyways and I think that theyre a waste of time but heres my review anyways Pros:-Overall, pretty family friendly games.-The games are fun-Kind of like a Chucky Cheese but cleaner-Fun place to take kids-Theres foodCons:- Can waste a lot of time here-Can waste a lot of money ex: splitting between a family of 5 can WELL cost over $20 all together just to spend 1/2 hr there.-Food is not free Pro tip:If you go to the right games, you can quickly earn a lot of tickets. Hint: dont use your nickels on gambling like games, unless you can find a pattern thatll benefit you rather than hurt you.Also do games that youre good at thatll benefit you ex: I found that I was pretty good at the cups & balls game and was able to earn a lot of tickets fairly quickly. My friend & I were on a time limit

Excelent place for a night out with family

Im a regular customer that comes here to play guitar hero and some other games with my friends. I love the employees they are always happy to greet you and provide great service! And if there is a problem they are on top of it. As an example a few of the buttons on the guitars got really sticky and made the game unplayable so I told an employee and later that night took apart the guitar and cleaned every piece and had it up and running when they open the next day in amazing condition!

Played laser tag here with the cub scouts I help out. They had a blast and I did too! The system worked very well and is probably the best laser tag place I have ever been to.

Fun place to play. Pretty good selection of games with a wide variety of choices for most ages. Even our toddler had a good time.Im a little sad that they switched from actual tickets and coins to a digital system as part of the enjoyment was the tactile feel of a few hundred tickets in your hand and a pocket full of coins. The new system is efficient but sometimes soulless.

It was fun, but the games and prizes are somewhat expensive. I spent 20 (including admission) and it was gone in less than 30 minutes. I did get a 1000 ticket jackpot on one of the games though, and that was fun!

My daughter was invited here for a birthday party. Its an arcade where you spend $5.00 and get a bag of nickels (now just a swipe card) to play games. As you play, you accumulate points. At the end of your stay you can exchange points for prizes. The kids love it. I think its always a bit crowded, which isnt their fault, its just popular. They have recently tried to put some money back into the business and thats good. Overall, its a fun place to kill several hours.

Nickle City is hands down my favorite date night! My SO and I have been coming here for years. We visit about once every six months and there are always new games to play to keep things fresh. They added the game play cards a few years ago and I love them! We cash in a few tickets for a handful of candy each time we go and keep the rest on the cards for when we save enough for a game we want to play.

Extremely clean. I was pleasantly surprised by how well maintained this place is. Makes a good place to go for a family outing. Four stars only because I personally cant stand video games, lol! Not a reflection of the place at all but of my personal interests.

This place is loads of fun for kids and adults of all ages. Lots of fun games. Much cleaner than it used to be and a good range of games.

I love that place, is really comfortable and the stuff is super kind. If any game stop working you can just tell them and then they will give you your coins back.

This arcade is crammed full of machines and they have updated to using cards instead of actual coins and tickets. It is so fun, even when its crowded! The laser tag games are super fun too!

Great place for kids. Maybe more like 3 and older. Great service, great prices. It gets really crowded later in the evening so go a little earlier if you dont like to be in a huge cluster of people.

We feel like we got a little ripped off. After filling up a card on arriving we needed to refill about 3 games in. Then not all of the tickets we won were getting onto our card. We also scanned our card to play multiple games without ever being able to play them. It was fun and the games were good. The facility was smaller than expected. But still probably worth the money.

A fun nickelcade experience. They have a lot more new games here and not as many classics, but they do have a classic section. They only have one or two pinball machines if that is what you love. A fun experience though they have a lot of multiplayer options for if you go as a group which is fun.

Nickle City is an exciting and fairly cheap venue to spend an enjoyable evening. There are a wide variety of arcade games including luck, skill, competition, and classics. I did not try the food or the laser tag but perhaps another time.

This a good place to bring the kids and let them run wild and have fun. They have all the same arcades and games as other places, and at Nickel City it only costs a small fraction of the price. Plus they have prizes for tickets. Also laser tag and food and drinks.

I love this place, my wife and I always have a lot of fun here! I can come here and afford to have a lot of fun for less than anywhere else. This arcade has laser tag and a ton of fun arcade games. Weve been to other arcade places and weve enjoyed this place the most, we can do more for less.

Good place to just have fun doing the whole arcade experience. Dont expect to get enough tickets in one visit for any of the big prizes, but they let you keep a card with your ticket balance so you can add to your total each visit

Every time we come it is even better! New games and they are always clean. Very rarely have we seen machines down. The cards work well too. I like that I can save my card and hold onto my tickets until I reach the prize I’m looking for. The workers are always friendly and helpful. I never feel like I’m putting them out by asking a question.There are a ton of nickel arcades in Utah County and I go out of my way to drive to this one.

Games are fun. But, the fact that you use a card instead of nickels is weird. It’s called “NICKEL” City.

Fun games but they REALLY need to expand! Too many people come at once and its really stuffy and not air-conditioned well. If they made a bigger store then maybe it could be the bees knees.
