A beautiful little park which is a blessing to the city. A great park in all seasons. I recommend visiting this park at least once in each season.
We just went to the playground section of Pearson Metropark and loved it!! It had lots of stuff for my four-year-old and two-year-old to play on. My two-year-old is not the most stable walker and she was still able to safely climb all the way up to the top of the play structure. One of my favorite parts was the lower landing under the slides, which has a bunch of unique musical walls. There is also a sheltered picnic area that would be great for entertaining. We will definitely be back!!
Although Ive been here plenty of times with my dogs and know all the trails its still a very nice park. Always clean and trails are manicured. Great place for a walk with the dogs.
Wide open spaces, beautiful scenery, pavilions, walking paths, playsets, baseball diamonds and fishing. These are just a few of the many things we either saw or were able to enjoy in the few hours we spent here. Besides the yellow jackets it was an amazing experience! Either way if we get a chance to go back we will!
Great place for the entire family. Fishing, cook outs and walking and playing. Also the leaves changing color are second to none. A unique place amongst the parks in the Toledo/Oregon area.
Huge park. I have been coming to Pearson for... As long as I can remember. Great place for birthday partys. Get togethers or just a nice day with the family.
The trees are showing their fall beauty! Great place to walk, jog or bike. Enjoy!
Had a meet-up here with family from metro Detroit and Cleveland. It was easy to reserve a pavilion. The park, pavilion, trails and restrooms were very clean and well maintained. Lovely day.
Took the kids for trunk or treat although we sat in our car for over an hour until we were able to get thru, the park was decorated nicely in the spirit of Halloween and the volunteers and staff were super nice and extremely friendly!!
My familys favorite park in the Toledo area. Lots of wonderful trails and great cookout and picnic areas.A great pond and views perfect for weddings!
Nice park, however didnt find much information about the trails (maps or directions). Some were there however not enough. Would have been better if there were proper signs.
Great place to get a 3 mile walk completed. Beautiful park, pond, eating areas!
It wasnt busy at all. There were few people in the park on the trails. Leaves are starting to come fall off the trees. Just a beautiful setting overall.
The water pump isnt working that good in the pond but the trails and playground are great! Bathroom was clean.
Went 4 a walk in the new area. Was very nice except for all the dog poo. They even provide bags.
Nice park. We had a birthday party at one of their shelters
Very enjoyable. Great day for walking.
Fun times at 70th family Reunion. Small group but we had a great time...
My Granddaughter and I along with a furry friend Maggie enjoyed all there is to offer here!
An awesome Park a lot of my childhood memories are there
Awesome place to hike fish or just reflect on nature. Abundance of wild life, birds, deer and fish.
Great place clean and doing what they can to keep everyone safe the only thing is we had a birthday for my 1 year old neice and there were several bees nests in the pavilion multiple people for stung including her I know its out doors insects cant be helped but the nests were visible seems they could have been takem down before people came it was reserved
Beautiful nature themed park, well maintained and accessible with smooth roads and nature trails.
Fun, clean, metropark. Tennis courts, lots of people walking, jogging, walking dogs. Internet access is sketchy. I like to work at the park.
Lovely scenery and clean trails. Very family friendly location
Amazing playground. Entertainment for hours and hours. Long clean shaded trails. Lots of beautiful lush trees and wildlife.
A very fun run here. Got lost a few times but overall it was great! (Nice people too).
Its supposed to be a park, right?! A place to go for a nice walk, to calm your nerves and relieve yourself of some stress. Kinda hard to do with covid 6ft bullsh!t rules being shoved down your throat, on every single path way. Get over it already!
A lovely park. Well maintained, nice trees, family friendly. A great place to go for a walk or a bike ride.
Great place to walk with a pet, there are even some pet drinking fountains. Bathrooms were clean. Bring bug spray, the mosquitoes were quite persistent through most of the walk and found a tick after returning home.
Very naturefilled and peaceful place. they have a spot for fishing and paddle boats. a place for the kids to play. a good place for a kid to be a kid
Clean. Relaxing. Lots to do. Lots of nature.
With covid going strong my friend and I were looking for someplace to meet and have lunch. We were used to going to a restaurant. She suggested Pearson Park. So we meet once a week for lunch and to complain about work.
I love this park a lot. It’s kept up really well and it’s always a safe space to be. I don’t feel like i have to watch my back when i walk alone here. I love the playground, even though i’m older now and i can’t play it’s still nice to see a place where kids can go. My friends and i like to come hang out here too and take pictures of the wildlife. It’s a nice place to be, calm, serene and just beautiful still. There’s not a lot of places left that you can say that about but i’m proud to have a park near me that i can.
A great place to bike, hike, jog, or simply spend time with the family. My husband and I go on the bike trail every so often. Its a peaceful place to clear your mind and surround yourself with nature. Its beautiful every season the picture below was taken this summer. We found this pond along our bike trail so pretty and peaceful.
Place is my go to for getting outside. Has various trails with a 3 mile trail on the perimeter. Has a fishing pond with paddle boats. Biking paths and multiple shelter houses available for reservations or first come first serve.
Fantastic park for exercise. I would recommend studying the trails online before heading out, if you are going for the first time. The trails go up to three miles and there may not be loops back to.your vehicle. There is no clear park map installed on site. I once had a scary moment walking alone for the first time at Pearson, and got exhausted/dehydrated with nobody else around. I didnt know I was on a three-mile perimeter trail. Otherwise, this park is the remnants of the Great Black Swamp and migratory birds, dragonflies, and other wildlife makes for an enjoyable experience.
My daughter loves going to the park. We live within walking distance, so its great exercise for us. Plus, it gives us great Mommy and daughter time together.
One of the many beautiful metro parks. Love them all
So pretty and quiet. Lots of deer and other wildlife. Only down side is people going way to fast down the road in the park.
It is a beautiful park with great walking trails!!!
Fun Thursday afternoon. The swings are pretty new!
Very clean. Free fishing weekend. Beautiful surroundings. Only bad thing is the lack of toliet paper in the girls bathroom but at least that area is clean so youll probably want to take extra tp. Also couldnt find a vending machine for water and snacks (Im sure theres at least one there but couldnt find it) So I recommend bringing your own .
Great place to fish. Nice park for kids.the playground is awesome.
Love the trails . Only downside is the park area didnt have. A spot for the toddler size kids. Big kids were knocking the little ones right out the way.
Amazing place to enjoy nature.
Great place to walk or run. They have some fantastic paths. Pond for fishing and paddle board. Ice skating in winter. Good place to snow shoe or cross country ski. Close to major roads so easy in and out. Lots of wild life and popular with the birders.
My granddaughter had a gray time playing at the play ground but the were big kids disrespecting the play area.
Walked the 3 mile inner bike path. Not very busy.
Great park to walk, ride bikes or walk your pets!
Peaceful place, even better since the playground has been shut and noone has been going!
Always a pleasant visit, today was exceptionally beautiful.
Such a great park! I walk the trails weekly in the spring through fall and its always so beautiful!
I saw a white owl eating a small groundhog in a tree near the walk or bike trail along the road. You dont see that happening every day.
It has been awhile since I had been to Pearson Park, the Metro Parks have really cleaned it up. Made more areas of the pond available for fishing etc. Plus they have added on, I took a nice stroll on a trail to beat the Winter time blues.
Such a beautiful peaceful park. Love going and sitting and relaxing, listening to the wind through the tress.
Beautiful park. I love the fire pits and great trails
Amazing paths to walk. My children love the park. Whole family overall never has a bad day here! Good space for parties and general hangout as well.
Another great metropark
Great park to visit. Things to do. Trails to walk. Nice pond with paddle board.
Beautiful park, many paths for walking, jogging, biking. There are several pavilions, lots of picnic tables and benches throughout. There is a playground, a baseball diamond, a soccer field, and some tennis courts. You can rent paddle boats for the little pond or go to the wildlife window and watch the birds. Enjoy!
Always a good place to take a walk.
Great family gathering park
Only complaint is litter in the fire pits.
I love this little park.
Tons of trails to walk, in the summer they have pedal boats for rent. Not that you can go far but still fun. They have a decent sized play ground, also have a bird room. Nice park.
Nice day to walk
This is a beautiful park! Im pretty sure you can reserve certain areas for events (weddings, grad parties, etc). I really like the trails, and there are plenty of PokéStops (for the gamers). One thing I wish was strictly enforced is the feeding of wildlife policy (which is off-limits), but I see parents encouraging their children to feed to geese bread, which actually makes them sick and can cause algae growth in the water. I would recommend an officer present more often to enforce the rules.
Nature walk all year long
Beautiful place for family!
Great trails; not crowded
Love this park. Very nice facility and the kids love it too
The main part of the park needs to do some major renovations and landscape manicure. Grass alongside of the road is never mowed, always garbage laying all over, parking lots in bad shape. They have attempted to repave the main road. The new part of the park North of Starr Ave is much better. Perhaps a good start to improvement is to actually pave the walking/bike trails through the park. The trails are almost always under water. They need to be razed up and paved like Oak Openings.
Love taking my dog here ....He likes the squirles
Very beautiful scenery, and well maintained foot/bicycle trails. The gardens and lawns were very tidy and pleasant to walk through! The entrance was well marked, and there was plenty of room for parking.
Great Park! walking biking, beautiful fall colors now. And a lodge for your events
Beautiful Park for the Kids. Small Pond with Canoes, fishing and paddle boats. Very nice park and recommended over many others, drive the few extra minutes for this park as it is worth it.
Its big and beautiful
Walking my dog....beautiful weather!!
Beautiful clean friendly Park
We got married here in 1980, on the wooden bridge behind the pond with the paddleboats! I love the trails, and walk our dog here frequently. I also married a couple two years ago at the gazebo on the second pond! They keep up the park, and it is very nice.
Our favorite park for family time
Beautiful, been coming here since I was born pretty much. New bike path is great! Paved too
Clean well maintained, friendly people, pet friendly, walking trails, bike trails, swings, slides, tennis, ball field,,
Great Metro Park with unique features such as a pond for fishing and paddle boats . I would have given 5 stars, but I went exclusively looking for the playground for my two year old . Its a Wonderful playground for older kids but they took all of the smaller childrens playground equipment out for some reason . There is only one baby swing and not much else for a toddler to do . The park itself is wonderful but if youre looking for somewhere to go with small children to play, maybe not the best place .
It was fine. I hiked at a sensible pace.
Pearson Metropark is a great place to go on a walk, rent a pavilion for a picnic or other family event, or even for taking your family fishing during the appropriate season. The park also has a hall available for rental, a building for bird watching, public bathrooms, and accommodations for joggers and runners. These are maintained by the park staff and never feel grungy or like a mess, making the park a pleasant place to visit as often as you would like.
Lovely piece of nature, great get away from the city, within the city.
I was told that this was not a good location however I was pleasantly surprised.Pizza came out with plenty of cheese and piping hot. This was other pizza. My family and I enjoyed it very much
This is a great little park for running/hiking, fishing, family activities, and well maintained. Keep in mind the road is one way and yield to pedestrian crosswalks when driving through. Youd be surprised how many people cant figure this out.
Great place for bird watching. Be sure to wear boots if you go after heavy rains as it tends to get wet and have some trails with large puddles in numerous places. The park is well maintained and is always enjoyable.
Alwasy a great time with the family when we go to the park. Always clean.
This year was our first visit to this Toledo Metropark. Quiet, comfortable, and peaceful with great birds during spring migration, and one of our Biggest Week destinations. We will be back. There are trails, picnic areas, restrooms and good parking areas as well.
I Love My Zoo!!
Love this park, weve been coming here since I was a kid and my family even before I was born. Seen the park change throughout the years and its a very very nice park, always clean too
Love the color changing in the trees. Great bike ride in a peaceful area.
Beautiful park, great walking trails, tennis courts and soccer fields. Playground is most appropriate for 5 years and up. Fishing pond with paddle boats.
