Nice wide paths with plenty of friendly people and dogs. Other walkers were mindful about distance and the path is wide enough that it felt safe out here. Plenty of parking and beauty!

Nice flat walking trail in a 3 mile loop. Mostly shaded. Mostly wide enough. Kinda busy so either go early or late. Good for mountain biking. No real views but theres a nice stream that meanders through the park. Lots of very pretty white stones throughout the park (marble?)

Great place to work on some tech MTBing as well as a few nice jump lines that are sneaky good.Once you go through the main trail entrance, go over the little bridge and stay left. Follow it straight until it turns right and you see concrete wall to left in the stream.Continue to favor the left side of the trail and dont follow the main trail right. Youll be on a narrow low branch hanging path that brings you in to the fun stuff.

Well marked trails clear of debris. There are also many secondary trails that are not marked.

Walked the trails yesterday. Absolutely beautiful. I was amazed by the people who did NOT have their dogs leashed and just let them run around freely... look at other reviews with pictures and it shows many dogs running free...I walk many trails that allow dogs but when the signs clearly state ‘dogs must be leashed’ and they are blatantly ignored I have a problem. I will continue to walk here... I just wish people would follow the rules...

Beautiful park with streams and well maintained trails. Perfect for a short or long hike, mountain biking, etc. Great for little kids and those with more limited mobility. The dog poop has been getting a bit out of control lately. If you bring your dog, please pick up after them! Or at least be kind enough to dispose of it off the trails.

Heres my journal entry 2/17/20No work today(presidents day) so me and clo went for a 4 mile hike at the AllTrails racebrook, pine and wepawaug trail in orange ct. Easy hike, but muddy in places. Very sunny today so we got warm quickly. Felt like spring this weekend. This place seems to be popular with people with dogs. Both were very friendly. There is also mountain biker trails here so one can also use these trails to increase the hike. The trail we took initially is listed as 2.8 miles on AllTrails but we took a detour on the purple trail(in and out) so our hike was increased to 4 milesSummary: A very good nature walk. We loved it..and i will def do it again. But not a great hike because of lack of ups and downs

Amazing trails and wonderful forest! Perfect place to run on gentle, rolling terrain (fairly flat). Great surfaces and footing and trails wide enough for you and a friend to run together.

Nice place for a hike. Some of the trails are very wide and a very easy hike. A few of the trails are a bit tougher with some elevation, but easy enough for 90% of the people that come here. It is dog-friendly, so expect to see a number of them, but they should be leashed. If you come after a big storm, there could be a few trees down across the trails, but they get removed pretty quickly. Most of the trails are well-marked, but a few can be moderately challenging finding colored blazes on trees, since some of the trees have been blown down. But it would be hard to get lost for more than a few minutes.By going around the perimeter trails, I hiked a bit more than 4 miles, but depending on the trails, you can go as little or as long as you like. There is even a paved circle trailIve seen a few mountain bikes, but not many.Overall a nice place to get out for a walk in the woods.

Yes dog poo not picked up and when it is it gets flung into the woods bag and all. Too many dogs off leash. I was confronted by what I thought was a wolf (really an American Indian dog.) who was at least a 1/4 mile from its owner and it literally stalked me eye to eye and I had to charge it aggressively to get it to back off and the owner heard me yelling. All that being said ...however I love the place.
