This place seems magical to me in its simplicity. Has the old homestead, a playground for younger kids, and small little grassy trails. Plus an enclosed pond in the back where you can sit at the bench and relax in tranquility. They have covered picnic pavilions and bathrooms too. Not a large park but its serene and cozy...Just bring bug spray and remember to pick up after your leashed dogs if you bring them...I enjoy this place.

My nieces 2nd birthday was held there on Sunday November 1st,2020. It was a great place. Nice and clean.. Very enjoyable and love the pavilions and picnic tables..

Great place to have picnic and play with your kids

We call it Kingsley park. Located off Kingsley Avenue in orange park. Awesome park. Or so it was. Used to take our kids there. They loved it. Huge park, swings. Pavilions for partys, volly ball sand court. Stopped there and they are removing the play ground. Sad. So sad. Hopefully its just getting renewed. Hopefully they have plans for newer better facilities. Pictures attached.

Great park! Kids really enjoyed it. There were plenty of things to play on. There were a few things that needed maintenance but other than that it was good. It also had a giant pond and wildlife area behind it. The pond had giant turtles, various birds and we saw one alligator. In the wildife area we also saw owls but we werent able to get a photo of them.

Just a dandy ol time with some buds at a great park :)

Fun park for the family. My son had a great time on the slides and swings. Love the layout. And the trail was lovely.

I love this park and my kids love it even more. Its a 30-minute drive to get here but we can stay for hours. My only issue is its 2019 and theres half a dozen grown men in their 30s and 40s staring at their phones walking around trying to catch imaginary creatures. Im in that age range and dont get it.

This place has so much potential. Nothing here gets fixed properly, just terribly patched. Im surprised there hasn’t been a law suit with how dangerous this place is. Good to see where tax dollars are going.

We didn’t even get out of the car the google pictures are so misleading. The first photo in google reviews that park of the park is gone! How long does it take to rebuild a park? So sad.

Older park but still nice. Kept up well and clean my son loves it!

It has a decent playground. But it would be much better if the city of Orange Park would take care of the playground equipment. 2 slides were broken and the fence to the play area was falling apart everywhere. I was extremely disappointed when we got there and I saw how bad the playground was.

Very nice park in the historic town of Orange Park. Many picnic pavilions for parties or gatherings. Numerous paths to walk, quaint playground for children to play on and benches for parents to sit and chat while waiting.

The play area is great but there is not much wheelchair accessibility. The tables at the pavilions are accessible but there is no path to the parks.

Love this park. Wonderful walking paths, beautiful picnic facilities and accommodating restrooms. I love seeing the garden area. Did not tour the house but enjoyed the walking paths, wildlife, and flowers in the garden. Behind the house are benches by the pond. Great peaceful meditation spot!

They took down the good wood playground. Dont think they are rebuilding it

Normally clean the bathrooms smelled well outside to the point where you could smell them within a 50 foot radius

I love coming here.I remember when they built the childrens playground.The playground definitely needs to be redone.The Clark house is an awesome historic landmark and I enjoy walking around the park itself.perhaps the city and the community could put a fundraiser on to help rebuild the childrens play park?

So big, lots of room for climbing, great place for Pokemon Go players, Ive always loved this park. Lots of shade too!

Great place with plenty of space for kids of a variety of ages. Due for a little maintenance on the wooden castle so have your kids keep eye open for broken wood.

Very big park with substantial parking. Cool to take the kids to an all wood playground for them too enjoy. Probably not many of these left in such good condition. We always have a blast

This park used to have so much to offer, but over the past three years the park has been neglected, there are many parts of the play equipment that need to be repaired. There are restrooms that are clean and safe and the park has several pokestops ! I grew up going to this park and it used to be the best park in orange Park but now its not safe to take my own toddler . Three stars because they still hold awesome events and the park holds a place in my heart but I do wish they would take some time to fix it up !

Ive been taking my kids to this park since they first learned to walk. They have a wonderful playground with swings (both tire and traditional), monkey bars, and many other things to play on and keep them busy. The park has a restroom that is usually open which has always been clean and NOT creepy. There are several pavilions available to rent for parties, reunions and such. It is a quiet atmosphere which is well maintained.

It has a large playground but it is outdated. We cant wait for the updates. Also if anyone with the town of orange park reads this let me and others know if we can bring in a bouncy house when renting a pavilion. Also whats up with the low rental price for orange park residents instead of it being clay county?

Love the size of the play park, the castle fort, and sand pit. My 14mo has a blast every time.I would request some TLC to the fort so that the kiddos can keep enjoying this awesome structure for many more years.

We love this playground for our toddler! Its big, and the play area is fenced, so dont have to worry too much about him running off when Im not looking. I love that there is so much to do and play on, and seems like its got something for just about all ages.

It was fun for me and my gfa son, but the park needs some love. Boards are missing or broken

Park is run down and not being repaired. Its a shame that the town of op is letting things go. It was a great place when the repairs were done. It is almost at the point of being dangerous now with all the broken slats. Something needs to happen to make it safe again

The play area for the kids is amazing at this park!

It has clean bathrooms, not new by any means but it was clean and is most of the time I come here. There are trails that you can walk that are nicely cleared out in the front. As you go deeper in you can deffinatly see s path but its a little more grown in. The play area is large but it could use a lot of repairs. Ive been coming to this park for years Im talking 23 years roughly. I went as a kid and now I bring my kids. There is a lot of gazebos for parties and a lake and garden area in the back. It is a nice park and kids love it. But keep in mind its deffinatly old.

I come here once in a while for Pokemon Go because it has 7 stops, 2 gyms, and is also a nest.There are plenty of covered picnic areas as well as a gazebo. The area is well-maintained and I always see some kind of worker present. Just a week ago they were laying down new mulch.The playground itself is one of the best in Orange Park if you have kids. Huge structures to climb on, but only one tire swing thats always in use.The walking paths are quite pretty, and there are many plaques to read regarding the history of the area. The only negative is that the mosquitoes can get pretty bad during warm weather.

Well today being Christmas, also me getting there later, wasnt busy at all but 8 or 10 people my age enjoying the peacefulness somewhat like when I used to work there early in the a.m. Bathrooms like last visit doesnt surprise me, make like a Bear go to the woods. Hopefully everyone had a nice Christmas..

Really nice park to go to. Its safe and very open. Love the fort style park area and the walking areas are really nice. They have spots were you can set up celebrations or just rest with the nice ambience.

Had the best time with my grandsons then went on a nature trail where I got some awesome pictures. Glad we found this park

One of my favorite parks. Large climbing area for the kids and a Sandbox. Ample eating area for everyone. Recommend

This park is very kid friendly. As a visitor, my child was very entertained. We need more parks like this one.

Great spacious pavilions. Perfect for large groups. Playground needs a little upkeep, but has a lot of activities.

Its really time to inspect the wood playground equipment. There is a lot of boards that are either rotten, unscrewed, or broken. It would be nice if the community was allowed to come together and volunteer their time doing some upgrades. If the town would provide the lumber I would gladly help.

We love Clarke park. Only thing tjat concerns me is there are holes in the wooden fence that makes it easy for a little ones to get through? There is a pond so keep a watchful eye on your child

The Christmas event was beautifully done. Such a great setting for an event. Very clean and well kept. The park was in great shape as well.

Great spot to take the kids to have fun. It needs some maintenance, but it is still a great spot for kids of all ages.

This is one of the best parks in a area. Theres a volleyball court, sand box, picnic tables small hiking trail and nice clean bathrooms. The best part about this park is that there is a separation between the playground for smaller children and older children.

So much fun for free. Great place to take the kids to get some energy out!

This park was once an awesome park, but due to storms and Im guessing low funds they have not been able to restore the park to its former glory. With nails sticking out where board use to be and things just falling apart. The play park definitely needs to be fixed. They have been working on the trails a bit more and the grounds are taken care of. The Womens Club flower garden definitely could use some attention. Its sad to see this parks decline over the years. The bathrooms are really clean in the morning. Hopefully they can find a good contractor to rebuild the park with pressure-treated wood or a more durable material.

One of the better parks around. It could be great with some upkeep of the playground and the mulch/ground. The tire swing is a mud pit and several of the slide end points have little to no cushion. Its pretty big with sections for little and big kids alike. Decent seating for the adults and pavilions with tables for small parties. There 2 or 3 short walking trail loops.

Great place to hunt Pokemon several pokestops a couple of gyms nice little Park and also for those that do Harry Potter

An old fashioned park with modern play equipment mixed in. A great atmosphere for kids to run, play, imagine. Walk the trails, eat under shady trees and pavilions. Benches and places for parents/ families. Better than most parks.

I love it, it has an awesome playground for kids which is regularly being repaired so its super safe, theres plenty of open space for dogs, there are two (or more) trash cans with dog poop bags, which is nice. Id highly recommend coming and hanging out, take your kids and your dogs

So much fun at the Home Town Holiday event. Lots of booths to enjoy; hay and train rides through a wonderful light display. Free entertainment and plenty of places to relax and enjoy.
