Nice MTB trail system thats great for beginner riders. Mostly single track that loops around, but beware that hikers use the trail as well. Mostly packed earth with a few sandy spots and roots, no obstacles that I found, but a few hills.
Wonderful path, well shaded. Great for walking or running.
Well taken care of beautiful view of black creek
Excellent place to go.
Great place to ride MTB, perfect for entry level and young riders to gain some experience. We rode all three loops (Myself and 11 year old) in about an hour. I could not make sense of the red loop and kept riding on dead end trails to no where, rookie mistake, we`ll figure it out! The SORBAJAX community did a great thing getting involved here and building the trails.Update; I learned that if you just keep staying to the right and resisting the temptation to cross trails you can complete the red loop easily! (When you Make a right out of the parking lot onto the trail) then when coming up from the creek follow trail markers that point left and you will find a successful loop! (When you make this left It will feel like you turned around backwards for a minute but you are going the right way... )
Found a persimmon tree on the trail and threw a shoe to knock down fruit and the shoe got stuck so if you see a shoe in a tree, its ours. :)
Its nice to have somewhere new to ride. But the only thing that could be better is that they dont need to cut some of the trees that are in the path as a feature. I can understand the ones that fall and are needing to be removed but the ones that you can ride over are chopped up or cut out. Other then that good job with the rest of the trails. I cant wait for more trails to ride.
Was better than the reviews Ive read, more trails than one if you explore. Next time I want to bring my bike and maybe a friend, love the outdoors.
Bike trails are great.
Great place to ride a road bike, hybrid or a mountain bike.
Short trails but nice. Would be nice if you didnt hear traffic but cant help that.
Beautiful well maintained trails paved and unpaved. The road noise from route 17 is the only downside. Otherwise a solid 5.
Great place to walk the trails
Only been to the front bench area but there are a lot of trails in here and people seem to like it. It doesnt get super busy but its a popular spot. Nice and clean. Quiet. Ive seen hikers and bike riders. Leashed dogs welcome.
Met a few people at the park during our meeting. We the Florida Militia are looking for like minded people to help defend the Constitution and the state of Florida Constitution. If interested, go to Florida Mliltia Bravo company and sign up and wait for the posting for a meet and greet. Youll be happy if you did. No racists or plotters will be accepted. You will be vetted if you ask to join. Thank you for your courage and support of the 2 great Constitutions.
Not sure if could be called a park. A few benches and a few grilles. A good view but the atmosphere is kinda boring.
Its nice quiet place with great views.
Nice clean path to walk on. A lot of friendly people to say hello to.
I love going for runa here and taking my dog for walks. Well maintained, away from the road.
Winding low country trails that maximize the available natural resources
Very nice quiet place quaint walk along the creek with a dog very peaceful
Awesome place for a hike and to explore
Beautiful and love all the random trails throughout
Quiet clean has some very nice trails
Didnt walk the whole park, but the parts I did go to were nice. Paths were well cleared. Lots of great wildlife to see and the water views wonderful. Found a little spot to put my feet in even! Nice place, Ill go again.
Theres a half mile stretch of paved nature walk. We took our 4 kids and they had fun. Easy to control them with forested land on both sides of the path. 1 mile, there and back.
I loved the trails!!!!
Quiet. Serene. A little cruise-y but not dangerous, just some nervous skittish pervs near the bathrooms. Good hiking, jogging, photography.
Very peaceful
Great, well kept, clean trails.
Enjoyed walking the trail. Geocaching all the way.
Love walking the trailer with my family
Beautiful scenery with nice trails and safe environment. Nice place to take the wife or husband and have a hike be outdoors enjoy Mother Nature. I have not seen any serpents in this area as I have watched for them I have walked into a few spider webs but other than that would have to say this is a beautiful little location that anybody from child to elderly adult could easily enjoy take the family in a picnic go out enjoy nature its a fun trail
Clean quiet and relaxing
Nice shaded place to walk. Beautiful scenery.
It was a beautiful place n i only wish there was a large trail map near the beginning.
This is a great place to go and take nature in all while walking the trails. We usually following up our walk with some MREs.
I love this place that I take a break from bike riding at.
Nice MTB ride.
This place sucks dont even have a barbecue pit
Really pretty area only a little over a half mile is in the woods with a small buffer to the main road. Walking path to the left leads to black creek, to the right is another small trail very pretty but I turned around when it opened up next to main road no woods anymore.
Nice trail with a lot of variety... Wooded, landscaped subdivisions... Gator Landing restaurant right on the trail as you return....
It is a relaxing walk. Most of it in the shade.
Great trail run
A few turns to keep you awake. Shady spots to make it a good ride. Over all a good ride.
We were hoping the trail was longer going to the water
Nice bench on the river...
I would not come back to this place. Nobody was there when we arrived. Alot of mosquitoes all over the place. You hear the mosquitoes all around your ears. No benches to sit down at. When we walked the trail it stoppes because you can literally walk right into the water. Very muddy, no signs that indicated the trail ends because of the Black Creek..it should be more visitor friendly..it looks like nobody has inspected that trail in years.
Easy access, nice place for quick trail hike
Beautiful trail to go
Nice hiking experience. Not really for a serious hiker but for casual hikers it is great!
Beautiful,
More like walking, no change in elevation
Its beautiful here and its a nice place to camp.
Natural but still clean.
Tranquil and super fun, we were there for an hour or two and the dogs had a blast! The closer you got to the highway, the noisier it got, but it was very quiet and peaceful!
The black creek trail starts on the Fleming Island end of the Doctors Lake bridge. The trail is paved from there to the park which is part Hibernia. The only exception is the elevated boardwalk necessary to cross a stretch of wetland.
My son me and his love to go walk here with our dog friendly ppl and my son and dog love to run the trails
I loved it
Not much to it but a picnic pavilion and a restroom. The best feature is the walking/bike trail that you can take all the way to Orange Park.
Quiet and peaceful!
Good place to hear yourself just think
Very nice place
Nice and long trail. Lots of nature.
Needs some care but a nice, relaxing place.
A nice clean place to walk my dogs.
Great park for those enjoying a bicycle path along US 17.
Wonderful trails, both paved and wooded.
Nice, easily accessible paved trail in a natural setting.
Very fun
Good for bike or walking. Dont go at night
Clean restrooms, friendly people, and a nice view.
This is not a park is a trail site no tables a nasty facilities wrigt biside a hwy noisy florida have no disent parks they dont wont people to have fun for free the good parks cost $8 day and camping $30 per day this is the most desorganise st of the union
Love nature and fresh air to walking
Beautiful scenery, amid the forestry. Beautiful.
The best
Clean
Great spot
Very disappointed. The trail is really short and not very interesting.
Great trail!!!
Dont hate it. Just really boring
Bathrooms at the entrance. Short treck to Black Creek, paths leading through the forest
Nice
