Great park. Lots of shade, plenty of playground equipment, a clean creek to splash in and plenty of places to sit our have a picnic. The equipment and grounds are well maintained as well.

My husband & I went last night and it was very nice. Beautiful lights and loved the train ride. It only cost $1 each for our Hot chocolate & $1 each for the train ride. Very affordable. Santa was there taking pictures with the kids

This park is a great place for kids to play and have fun. One of the most popular activities is playing in the creek. Bring a change of clothes and a towel!

Great quiet place to enjoy lunch during this pandemic. Enough space to distance and generally peaceful right now.

Since i was last there before the covid19 shutdown they have made some new cosmetic updates to the park. Added a couple new benches and have planeted over a dozen new trees. The trees will look great in a couple if years.

Great Park. Its a little on the old side and some of the slides need to be updated. Normally its very clean and quiet. Overall its still a good place to take young ones.

My kids love coming to this park! They especially like the train ride. I personally appreciate how shaded it is throughout. They can play without us all being baked in the meantime.

Monkey Park is my granddaughters FAVORITE PLACE to run, play, ride the train, watch movies & listen to music. And we always feel quite safe & secure. Every event held there ALWAYS exceeds my expectation. SO THANKFUL I live nearby!!

Best park in Opelika. One of only 2 good parks in the area. For some reason, most parks here have only tiny play equipment, good for toddlers only. Most kids wouldnt enjoy those parks much. This park is different. Its excellent for all ages, even adults. Its a must for anyone visiting the area.

Hidden spot perfect for kids or even adult nature lovers! The park has been here for years. Great little train track for kiddos and they run it certain times so double check before you go if that is what you are looking for. Otherwise a very nice park for kids and nature area with covered bridge for those looking to explore plants and walk around. Rocks with water was such a nice sound, felt secluded even though the park is in a neighborhood.

Monkey Park is awesome. I take my granddaughter to ride the Rockybrook Rocket.

I think the Monkey Park is great! I like the recent renovations. I also like the fact that there are several playgrounds for kids of different ages. Most people see this and will move older children from the smaller childrens playgrounds when little bittys arrive. Fairly clean too, especially for a public park.

I think this is a wonderful park and I will be a frequent visitor. My only issue is with its layout and how it consists of many small playgrounds spread out. It is really difficult to watch all my children at once! I wish there were more benches adjacent to the playground area.

Very nice and clean park. There is a miniature train that runs Sat/Sun 2-5pm for $1/persin then Tuesdays from 6-7pm for free aling with Swing in the park starting at 7pm featuring local entertainment

Kids train is super great for little kids. It is a very interesting scaled down train.

My daughter loves this park. Plenty of shade and the playground is made for small kids 1 to 5 years old.
