Great plenty to do even though some exhibits are closed . Tram ride is free to get around . Splash park is closed. But more in its still fun

Omaha zoo is wonderful. They cared animal very well. Animals are cool and have a good body condition and enrichment. You can see animal closely. Aquarium is also amzing. There are big turtles, sharks and so on. Highly recommend here

Very neat experience! A little crowded but most popular zoos are! I loved every bit of it, all we missed was the Zebras.

Huge zoo! Better for bigger kids, easily spend the whole weekend here. The new Asian Highlands is very themed and cool. Old favorites are still great, the Jungle and aquarium but a lot has changed and they seem to be added new stuff every year.

This is by far the best zoo that I have ever been to. All of the animals were out and very interesting! I could’ve spent so much more time in this zoo but unfortunately I didn’t go early enough! The gorillas were myFavorite... they posed for the camera!!!! There were so many good animals and they were all out!!!! Don’t you hate when you go to the zoo and most of the animals are hiding? Not this place! Oh yea... the penguins were cool too! I’ve never seen a baby penguin (other than on Hapt Feet) Those baby penguins are adorable!

The best zoo in USA. Definitely a must seen place to visit if you are in Omaha. You need 5 or more hours to walk and see all the animals here. The aquarium and Jungle expositions are the best!

I love this zoo best place for a learning experience.

This is a good place to hang out with kids, full of many different animals and fishes. It’s huge, lots to do in there, staff are friendly. Pretty easy to navigate.

Most fantastic Zoo! An absolute must for all ages. The displays are apropriarem and the animals are well cared for. The personnel is most helpful and quite knowledgeable! Pack a lunch or eat at the restaurant, their hamburgers and fries are delicious! Have fun!

Awesome zoo. Animals were in good condition and seemed happy. Very informative if you have an interest in animals other than humans. The animals were well trained to keep themselves in view. Madagascar dark room was my favorite

We love the zoo!! My kids would live here if it was possible. My daughter loves the giraffes and my son is in love with the aquarium. So much to see even if you get a pass and go once a week!Seriously, get the pass, its worth it!!

This is the secret to a better zoo experience. The south gate is usually packed. A bit of a walk to the main exhibits from this entry, but theres still plenty to see nearby.

A large area with a good variety of animals. I was surprised by the presentation, it felt authentic. Well worth the 3 hours I spent there.

Really great zoo overall. I’m giving four stars instead of five because when we called ahead of our visit we were told most of the animals would be out but several were still in for the winter. The indoor jungle was super cool and the aquarium was great too! Definitely will need to go back in the summer and see the new additions that are under construction.

North entrance.great for a quick trip to the kids area and splash park. Note that this you cannot exit here after the zoo officially closes!

Parking is much easier at this entrance. And its downhill on the way out. Great for grandparents.

Very large zoo, many animals to see indoors if its cold or rainy outside. Price is reasonable for how much there is too see.

The Omaha zoo didnt fail to impress. It was pretty cold the day we went but there was SO much to see indoors that it didnt matter. We were able to rent a wagon for $13 for the day and we could take it through any if the indoor buildings.

Wonderful zoo experience. Super place for children. We love the parakeet avairy, the stingray beach, and the large avairy. Plus the splash pad is a perfect stop for kids and for adults to rest.

I have been an annual member for years.

The cost of admission is 21.95 and it rained most of the day. Fortunately they have over 7 acres of indoor displays. I particularly enjoyed the aquarium with sharks, penguins, and sea turtles among the many sea creatures on display. This zoo has something for everyone from lions to apes and from snakes to insects.

Needs to be open when there is literally like nowhere to park in all of the alphabetical lanes its a long walk to the South main when you can only find a spot clear down to the north gate and you have little ones and before we get to the main gate little ones and adults are exhausted before getting to the south gate or before making into the zoo

Im not a good one to look at for reviews on a zoo. Im one who feels bad for the animals for not being in their true environment. This is my first time here with my family. But if you are looking for a wonderful place to take your kids to to see the worlds wild life, then Omaha Zoo is the place to go. They have everything that you can imagine. The Gorillas helped excite everyone by slapping the glass, the aquarium had every water reptile that you could think of. Came face to face or nose to nose with a Kamen with only the glass separating us. That was humbling to me. There is so much more I could say, but dont want to disappoint those of you looking for the excitement. :) I highly recommend that you visit. Pay the yearly family fee, it is cheaper than the day tickets in the long run!

Spectacular zoo! A must see if on vacation in the area. Skip the train ride though, really not worth the price. Everything else is well worth the admission price.

A fantastic experience... there were a few exhibits closed or u der constriction... as a first timer we more than enjoyed ourselves...

I drove 300 miles to see the zoo that everyone was talking about. They should have mentioned they have construction project until August 19/2018. I didn’t see half the place because of this. But I paid full price entry fees. Plus, I needed a binocular to see the animals. It was a failure.

Best zoo Ive ever been too. Way better than San Diego!

Its a lot of hype. Some think its the best zoo in the world and others not so much. My personal opinion is that it has a long way to go. I dont know how they are going to add anything new without any land around the zoo to build with. This just might be the peak time for this zoo. Its ok every once in a new moon but I wouldnt purchase a membership.

Had a ton of fun - and wheelchair availability and disability access really helped me enjoy the zoo during an MS flare.

Easily the best Zoo in the US. Drove from Iowa with Mom and my buddy Mirza and family. Spent half a day here. Lots of birds and animals to see at close range. I liked the Macaws, Parakeets, Tigers and Monkeys. The reptiles appear to be dozing but they are alert. Burmese Python is beautifull. The Lion was behind a oneway glass and when we stood there closeby it let a full throated roar. I then knew why some animals freeze when the Lion roars. I always walk away from zoos with mixed feelings, guilty for going back to a zoo after making up my mind on the last visit and sad about animals being caged up for life. I get some solace that the cages nowadays are made to look natural without too many bars and gates. They are well cared usually, but still...I should never go to zoos.

Omahas Zoo north entrance has been rebuilt and has reopened. The lines are always shorter at this gate. You can buy your tickets here and save time vs. the main gate. The North parking lot is just across the street. Do your walking in the zoo, not in the parking lot.

You may have to walk a a long while but besides that it awesome there were so many thing to explore

Todays visit was just ok for me. Its been a long time since I have visited this Zoo maybe by summer the top part of the Jungle will be open.
