Through the years, I have watched this particular area go from good to bad and now back to good again.I remember that back in the 60s and 70s I was either singing there or I was down there listening to someone else play music.I would think that anyone who is an Omaha native will have their own memories of 24th and Lake.Besides music, which was a huge attraction, I remember the Omaha Star and the wonderful woman who ran that.Back then there were some really great places to eat.

Lot of music history. Some cool shops. Art gallery, doing a good job cleaning up the area.

I like going on 24th Street for Omaha Days but I feel North Omaha money is not going toward the community....the people were harrassed even with food permits. Watched like training a dog by the police. Yes North Omaha is historic but not ran by the people.
