The Holland Center has taken great care to make a visit to the facility safe, yet friendly. I felt no risk while attending the Omaha Symphony concerts both Saturday and Sunday. Well done! Hearing live music was priceless! Heartfelt thanks for amazing, healing experiences.
The Symphony was superb, and the vocalist amazing. So glad they are working at doing concerts. We thank you. The concert did our hearts so much good!
Wow. The acoustics are beyond sublime. Warm woods, comfortable seats, and the Omaha Symphony make for a perfect evening out in Omaha, Nebraska. Get there early and enjoy a drink or nosh at the bar- they have a nice selection at reasonable prices with fast, friendly service. Take a little time to enjoy the architecture too. I highly recommend this place. Will definitely return!
First class joint and very accessable.
Very nice place! Has parking garage with cheaper rate across street on Dodge St. side, which makes parking not such a hassle. Nice & helpful staff. Seats in theatre are comfy. Lots of seating, on different levels. Ive attended the All City Music Festival here the last few years in a row; great every time! Ticket purchasing line went fast, which i was thankful for. Nice lighting & great sound. Very pretty inside theatre!
First time at the Holland Center. It was fantastic. Not a bad seat in the place. Went and saw Celtic Journey. That was fantastic as well. Will be returning for the bugs bunny show. I highly recommend this venue for any type musical event.
This is one of the most beautiful places to get married in Omaha! The building is so versatile and gorgeous from corner to corner. Their staff is incredible and I could not have had a better experience each and every time I am there! Caitlin and Amber make such a great team and were incredibly wonderful to work with!
The Holland Center is an absolutely incredible venue for weddings as well as concerts, etc. I recently photographed a wedding there and the staff were extremely helpful, everything remained on time and there were an abundance of excellent portrait spots!A perfect venue for those wanting something outside the norm with an excellent touch of class!
The sound here is amazing! Ive been a few times, most recently for Interpol. The seats are comfy and well-spaced. The design is very chic and modern. You can drink at the events as long as they are lidded. Drinks arent astronomically priced, but they are all basic beers and base level spirits. There are 2 usable entrances from the outside for most shows, which is nice if youre parked on the North side of the building. Im glad to see a wide array of events coming here (speeches, lectures, musical concerts - of varying genres, stand-up, magic, etc).
The Holland Center is a pleasant place to go even if you dont enjoy concerts of all kinds. I am not one for sitting and watching Musicians; it is the end thing for me. BUT it is a cool place to hang. Bars on all levels and every level has its own uniqueness. There is a great affordable restaurant called Zinc. The architecture is clever and the concert halls I have been told as well as read are terrific. At least Tony Bennett at one concert said so and he sang acapella without a mic and Mike(me) to prove it.
The Christmas Celebration is a favorite of our family. We go every year and really enjoy this holiday tradition. They switch up the performance every year. Would love to see the hot chocolate number again from Polar Express next year :)
Love the Nat Geo series! Side note, wish the cup holders were easier to use. Beautiful venue though.
Enjoy dinner at the restaurant or a drink and small plates at the bar area on the main floor before the show! With valet and other nearby parking, you will have no trouble getting in it out.
Top notch facility hosting quality nationally recognized entertainers. From theaters and orchestras to small venue high energy concerts they can host it all.Pro tip: avoid the crowds and head up to the third level concourse. It has a bar as well as amazing viewa of downtown.
Sound is great, love watching movies with the score being played live. Super enjoyable and bravo to the Omaha Symphony.
Beautiful event venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Its a smaller venue and is designed to feel more intimate for shows and events. Staff is helpful with finding seats and what level youre on. During the event I attended, all drinks were served with a lid, which is super smart is keeping the facility nice and reducing spills. Not sure if its like that all the time, but a great idea. Fun location in downtown Omaha.
Gorgeous, cozy establishment with really nice people. The sound does sometimes carry a little softly, but, other than that, its amazing.
Amazing to see the movie and hear the music live by our fabulous symphony. Well done!
Wonderful Christmas show although I would have loved to hear more variety. Tend to do same songs every year. Dancing Santas, violinists were the bomb!
Excellent music as usual! Great job all who had a part in Celtic Journey.
Excellent sound quality. Comfortable seating. Great Brahms concert!
No place better to enjoy music. Love the atmosphere and acoustics.
Beautiful venue. High class crowd. Amazing acustics. Not a bad seat in the house.
Amazing acoustics, spacious seating and a wonderful show! Five stars out of five.
Its a beautiful venue. Acoustics are amazing, stage big enough to accommodate large groups or scenery, and seats comfortable. Got a valuable tip from watching another patron cover the vent under her seat with her program. I did the same thing, under my own and my husbands, and was fairly comfortable. It s very, very cold (to some of us!) otherwise. Nice spots to eat and park, on far edge of Old Market. Younger people could walk from there, but not I. Ha.
Intimate venue. First row of each balcony is too scary if you are a vertigo person. Acoustics are above average. Music sounds great, speakers still get a bit of reverberation. Parking downtown is not bad if you come very early, but make the best of it by having a drink or snack before the show.
The staff are nice to help you navigate to your chairs. The seats could be a bit wider. The bar could be better staffed during shows. The lines were crazy long and only two people behind the bar, one taking money and the other making drinks.
Roomy, comfortable, views excellent. Built for great acoustics. Lives up to the hype. Help always available. Enjoyable at all levels. Not a bad seat in the house. Facilities always well staffed and clean. Enjoyable.
Very nice modern venue for a concert. Great sound and good view.
Loved seeing Bert Kreischer here. Great atmosphere and amazing service. The staff are very helpful and VERY professional.
Last night I got to enjoy Scott Bradleys Postmodern Jukebox here. The Holland Performing Arts Center is a very beautiful concert hall with a lot of wood accents. Every part of the hall was designed for acoustics. I would recommend anyone see a concert here if they get the chance. It isnt very large, but that is part of what makes the sound extremely rich and vibrant here.
This is one of the cleanest and up to date theaters you will find in Nebraska or the midwest area.
Beautiful place. Always have a wonderful time.
I have only ever been here for a wedding and was amazing.
Love the Physicians Mutual Christmas Symphony! Its an annual tradition we look forward to.
Great Acoustics you can hear and see from any seat in the house
We are so lucky to have a symphony. It was worth going out in the cold to hear their outstanding performance
Beautiful place... the staff was helpful... lines for drinks were long they should have opened the other lanes
Ushers were so nice and accommodating. Recommend going.
Beautiful venue and great acoustics. Such a unique venue!
What a beautiful setting. I love the acoustics and the ability for an intimate setting in this venue. You are always greeted with more than helpful ushers. Attending events here is always a great experience.
The Omaha Symphony is amazing. Their performance on 9/21 featuring Dvorak’s Ninth Symphony was flawless.
A great location to take in a talk or a concert. The building itself is modern and the hall is impressive. Id recommend attending a performance here if possible.
Not a better venue for live classical music... The acoustics are phenomenal!
What an amazing place to watch any form of entertainment, even in cheapest seats the sound was great.
Not very handicapped friendly.Only one entrance to get into performance center.Having to sit on not one but two air conditioning vents very cold.Restroom handicap stall perfect but to dry hands after washing Really completely on the opposite end of restroom.
This is a spectacular venue. Seating tip if youve never been: street level is the lobby; 1st flight of steps takes you to the main floor of the performance hall; up the second flight is the balcony. Acoustics are perfect so you can hear no matter where you are seated.
Very nice place. Upscale med size venue
We absolutely LOVE the symphony movie series!
An outstanding concert hall. Incredible.
Overabundance of ushers. Staff somewhat helpful. Please operate both elevators while guests in building.
Omahas crown jewel for symphonic quality concerts.
Beautiful place. Chairs are awful. Plan on enjoying the entertainment from an uncomfortable seat.
The seating was comfortable, garage parking is across the street at a fair price. The staff were friendly and got me to my seat without issue.
What a great venue for the city of Omaha! Saw Women of Rock! All 3 ladies had amazing voices. Tha Omaha Symphony was backing them up and their sound was so good......sometimes better than the original version of the song.
Great sound regardless wherever you sit.
Went for a concert on Sunday afternoon. Seats are comfortable and acoustics are great.
Absolutely beautiful space! Who knew Omaha was so dope!
Most excellent as always! 10 stars!
Went to see the Princess Georgia Peach. She was @ her greatest!! Put the young back into this Matured youngster. Princess Gladys told us the story of one relationship. She used her life of songs to punctuate each stage of the changes. She made one of Ella F. songs come alive. Ella would have been so proud. Thanks for reviving ole memories, Gladys.
Went to a concert put on by the River City Mixed Chorus. It was AWESOME. Acoustics was splended. The after party was great.
Holland Center was great. The acoustics are very good,, which totally enhances the music. The appetizers we ordered were tasty. Overall, it was a great night.
I had so much fun it was
Take advantage of community resources and then dump there employees. Poor example of a good community leader.
Saw Unforgettable: Nat and Natalie. It was a good show. Sat four rows back from the stage. Sound was great.
Amazing venue. Watched the Sprouts from Omaha Conservatory of Music play with the Omaha Symphony. Adorable and the sound was perfect.
The Holland center is a wonderful venue. Great accoustics. It is a fancy place so dress nice. They serve drinks at a reasonable rate for this type of location. There are many clean restrooms throughout the building. There is a parking garage across the street it was $3 so reasonable. There is also meter street parking available.
Holland is amazing! State of the art! If you have not visited, GET THERE!!!
Amazing venue with incredible acoustics..
Fantastic production of Handels Messiah!
Very nice place with comfortable seats and helpful staff
The Holland is a beautiful concert hall. We saw the Omaha Symphony and enjoyed the experience tremendously. All the seats are great and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The staff were all friendly and helped to find our seats easily. We were up in the nosebleed seats. The sound was still amazing but the seats were very narrow.
The Holland Center is amazing! A beautiful and dynamic home for the Omaha Symphony and traveling artist. A must see for any trip to Omaha.
Great view/acoustics anywhere in the theatre!
The acoustics are unbeatable and the clarity of sounds impeccable
Directions and parking she would improve
