Well it was one of those kinda covid or China pandemic days I was so tired keeping the gang in cheery moods,I thought to myself what would make that special dominate person more relaxed, maybe take her to the dungeon of despair where she could whip this guy back into obedience, jk,or house of latex,or medieval times, they all sounded quite fun,But I Really wanted to make my mark in her life, ok people not Mcds,It was the Funny fn.Bone from mapquest to, parking to the front door her attitude was slowly becoming happy take the elevator its, wait and see u dont want me to spoil it,the gentle gentle gentleman or host made it easy as pie for us tellingvys would be seated by thud gentle gentleman who wisk us away to the amphitheater where front row was like I was on stage very intimate, food, waitstaff excellent, allways on point, kitchen staff thankyou for your detail of food items thank you for your service to us going back to help maintain my happy disposition in lifes up and downs
First: the food was EXCELLENT. Delicious and clearly made fresh. Entertainment was great. However, really disappointed with the lack of covid precautions and social distancing. The tables next to us were literally brushing against ours and they did not require masks while seated so we were packed in amongst a large unmasked crowd.
It was the absolute best time. Everyone needs a good laugh now more than ever. Bill Blank and Chris Potter had us laughing out loud the entire show. We will go back on our next trip to Omaha.
Always fun...the comedians always pack the house and the food is great as well! Great for couples, more fun when you go in a group!
Headlines where good mc was okay .Nick was not that funny
Awesome venue to see comedians!! Especially love that it is not to big and provides a VERY intimate and AWESOME setting when it comes to seeing national and very famous acts!!Have been going to shows on-and-off for quite a few years, staff is always VERY nice, prices are reasonable, and it is ALWAYS a great time!! Found it to be a GREAT date option with wife from time-to-time!!HIGHLY recommend checking out if you havent already...guessing you will LOVE IT too!!
Nice to get to see live comedy in Omaha.
Had an amazing time. It was a little crowded, but the food was amazing as were the drinks. The entertainment was amazing and your meal comes pretty quickly. Would recommend for a night out.I had the blackened salmon which came with a salad, scalloped potatoes and asparagus. The meal was amazing and filling!
Awesome place to take a date
Larry the cable guy was awesome!
Tonight was my 2nd time going. Both times were great comedians. Its crowded and the seats get uncomfortable after a bit. I dont mind the crowded part too much. My boyfriends mom and I both have back trouble and we debated leaving early due to our backs hurting from their chairs. Even my boyfriend was struggling with his back and legs and he doesnt normally have troubles. I love how they offer meet and greet and photo opportunity at the end, but tonight we were hurting too bad to stay for that. The food was delicious, but it gets expensive, so eat before you go and stick with an appetizer.
First comedy club I have ever been to, and will continue to go there! Tickets are highly affordable and so are the food and drinks! Also the Funny Bone often have great guests and hilarious openers! The atmosphere is comfortable, but I do recommend showing up pretty early to get good seating if attending as a group, as the seats fill up fast!
Most of the comedians are funny. The food was good and waitresses are awesome. I just wish they would have better seating. They have way too many people crammed in to a sardine can. People are constantly bumping in to each other and half of the people have to twist their bodies just to see the stage. Some seats are so close to the wall and off to the side they could not even see the stage.
Good club always seems busy. Opening acts this time were much better than the headliner, but Ive seen some very funny people here. Should definitely try this place out.
We had a great time! We didnt eat there but we did have the bread pudding for dessert though. Its not an expensive outing so grab a loved one or some friends and have an evening of laughs!
Holiday party was held there. I will say that the second act was funny. The service was great. Food was okay as well. Havent been there for 10 years didnt look like it changed much.
Nice and clean environment, we didnt have any food but the plates I saw they looked good. The drinks were amazing and very reasonably priced. The acts were good, its not my kind of humor but its was a good night at the Funny Bone
I thought the staff did a excellent job with food and drinks and friendly also. The owner was involved and candid. The main comic was very funny
This is the premier comedy club here in Omaha. I have been going here for years. They get good talent in for the shows and the food is fantastic. I always recommend going here because it is so much fun.
A large group of friends planned on a fun night out to see John Crist. The older, red-headed seating hostess (who we later found out might be an owner) was so incredibly rude to one of our friends that she was nearly in tears (yelling at her for not having an exact count on our party an hour before the show). Then when our friends (who were celebrating their anniversary) arrived, the seating hostess/owner told them they could not sit with us (we had five seats and empty tables reserved FOR them) when they were accidentally seated elsewhere. So she lied to them, telling them there was no room near us. Then she came to our tables and told us they didnt want to sit with us. So she LIED to us too! Unbelievable! We were so disappointed at being treated this way. The waitstaff was great, and we appreciated their hard work and attentiveness. The food was very expensive ($18.99 for a circular salmon patty/fillet with a lot of frozen vegetables on the side) and not very good. But that we could have managed just fine, if that particular person wasnt so set on treating us so poorly. She just lost 15 future customers.
Drinks and food are good. Order the pretzels, they are amazing. The wait staff is also really good at taking care of the crowd and keeping track of all the orders. Make sure to tip them well when you go. They deserve it.The theatre area isnt bad. Tables in the general seating area are arranged so that you are either facing the stage or your back is to the stage. I wish the tables were sideways so everyone could look at the stage easier, but that is minor and it would never stop me from going to see a show.
This place has gone down-hill. Takes forever to get drinks... when you can finally get a waiter/waitress to come to your table. I used to love this place... now I only go here and there... and that is even starting to decline because it seems to get worse every time I go.
Great laughs last night at the Funny Bone! Andy RHYMES WITH Warhol was headlining and put on a great show. They have a great selection of bottle beers and some flavorful mixed drinks. Here us a tip....get there before the recommended time and have a few drinks at the bar. You get seated first!
Great place to see stand up. Love the caliber of comics theyre able to bring into Omaha.
Awesome show!
Pretty good food. I only go when I want to see a specific comic. But I have enjoyed myself most every Time. I only wish they would get more organized with the wait in line prior to the show. Alot of people get off the elevator and skip people who have been waiting in line upstairs. Its annoying. But overall the staff is great
Yes its a little cramped and yes the mixed drinks are around $8 to $10 each but the drinks are potent and delicious. The food is not healthy but tastes excellent. The atmosphere is fun and the shows are definitely worth the price. I took my brother and my father there recently for their first ever visit to a comedy club for my dads 72nd birthday and they had a blast. They laughed so hard, it was great to see them having such a great time. They loved it so much they asked me to get tickets to the upcoming Joey Diaz performance so I did. My father has a hard time moving around at his age and even though it is cramped he made it around there just fine. I asked them before being seated if they could put us in a place that would be easier for him to get to and they did as asked without hesitation and with a friendly attitude. I have seen a lot of negative reviews for this place but I have frequented here multiple times now and have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend giving this venue a try!
Great venue within a very nice outdoor mall area. Food was good and the staff was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.
Always have a great time here! Service is always prompt, drinks are good - surprised by the cast selection! Theres something for everyone. Seen tons of shows here - I am never disappointed. Love when I get the free tickets too!
Great fun! Sure miss the GREAT J MEDICINE HAT!
Comedy was good. Good was meh.... ran out of steak, how do you run out of steak. Pork was not great, apps were ok. Comedians were all pretty good.
Very clean and the reservers very respectful and the comedian Sinbad was Awesome great i went to see him
We had a great experience. It was our first show. Get there early!
Went to the funny Bone for the first time on Sunday! Had a blast, food was good, comedians were awesome, however please get better seats! The chairs were so uncomfortable and hard it made it very hard to enjoy the show when it was so uncomfortable. For how much everything costs there please get decent seats.
Saw Ryan Niemiller, absolutely hilarious. Funny Bone has good food and plenty of laughs.
Never have an issue just get told I need to leave at the end of the night because the staff wants to go home to.
I wish theyd fix their seating arrangement so you dont have turn your ENTIRE chair around to see the show and they wouldnt cram people in like sardines. I get that theyre trying to optimize space and make money, but Im paying for the show, and am also REQUIRED to buy a minimum of two drinks or two items per person...and yet I have to share my table with strangers if I dont come with a group of 4 and sit in an uncomfortable backwards chair for half the show. I wish there was more competition in Omaha, because Id definitely go somewhere else.
Been a few times. I liked it better when there wasnt a two menu item purchase required. I dont drink alcohol so thats out and the menu is overpriced. Paying $17 a ticket and then having to spend more for menu items=an expensive night.
The show was great we saw Steve-O live and it was awesome! Nice small little comedy club. The seats to the left and right of the stage are not good because u cant see the Comic but the food is good and beer is cheap!
Chris Franjola show was awesome. Highly recommend if you have a chance to go see him.
Omahas Funny Bone Comedy Club is a delightful, hilarious way to spend an evening and laugh at ourselves through comedy! Joey Diaz was a blast. Also enjoyed T J Miller at the Omaha Funny Bone. Top-notch headliners for sure!
Had a great time. The food is a step up from bar grub and its tasty. But its not a cheap night for sure, especially if you order drinks.
The staff was amazing! Definitely 10s all the way around! The comedy was hilarious! All three made it worth the drive and each took time for a photo. Thank you to all who made our night memorable!
Nice place to see comedy from local to bigger names. It is a bit of a wait to get in if you come at the suggested time. Seating closely packed for sold out shows. There is a 2 drink minimum. Service is good and I have always enjoyed the experience.
A lot of of fun if you can overcome the inherent anxiety of watching a person perform a live comedy routine. The stage room is fully geared toward focusing on the act - no distractions, windows or decoration. You are there for one reason, so get into the spirit of it, be a good audience member, and enjoy it!
Good shows. Great price for tickets, food and drinks are a bit expensive, but its worth it for most shows.
The comics are always good. This rating reflects the venue itself. One, I don’t like sitting right across from people I don’t know & sharing a table. It’s awkward. 2, better watch your drinks because after 2 they start watering them down. Just this last time I was getting jack and cokes and the third one was all soda. So I traded with my husband since he wasn’t drinking his. I was annoyed, I didn’t pay for a soda! Her name was either Tony or Tommy (our server) I can’t remember which, but it was one of those. I don’t know if they all do it, it’s been awhile since I was there besides this last time. I suggest drinking before you come if you want a decent buzz.
Great experience here tonight. Saw Samuel J.Comroe. He was great and so were his openers. The waitstaff was super efficient and polite, the food was really good, the prices were reasonable and there was a meet and greet after the show.
Food was pretty good for price but the seats are so uncomfortable. I was put at one of the high tables against the side walls. The show itself was great but I felt like I couldn’t enjoy myself because the chair was so hard and I had to strain my neck around to see. Make sure to check your bill before you pay! I was given the wrong ticket which was double what my actual bill was. And they give you the bill during the show when it’s dark so it’s easy to just give your card without checking and paying way too much. The staff are all very friendly and helpful so it was easy to solve the issue, but I can only imagine how many people have overpaid because they were distracted. Probably won’t ever come back again.
Funny and all 3 comedians did a great job. I just wish the chairs were more comfortable.
If you cant forget your problems for a bit coming here, then its time to hit the off switch!
Great place. Always has great shows. Bit expensive. But to be expected. Nothing absurd. Staff is really excellent
We always have a great experience here!! Definitely recommend getting the bucket of beers because getting someone back quickly to get more drinks is difficult. But totally understandable.
Had a pretty good waitress, things were on point.
The Omaha Funny Bone was *exceptional* in providing accommodations for me and my partner. He is Deaf and we requested an ASL interpreter, which they provided without hesitation. When we arrived, they deferred to us in regards to seating/lighting logistics. Both Colleen and Daisy were wonderful help. As someone who fights for language access and ADA services in their daily life, it was a HUGE relief to finally be granted that access with such ease. Ari Shaffir was phenomenal and the pretzels were delish.
Great place to get away, relax and have a good laugh!
Saw Ari Shaffir and loved it! Ive been to the Funny Bone many times and Ive never been disappointed. Great food, great comedy, and good drinks make a combination for an awesome night!
Great show, great comedians. Felt a little rushed in the end, will attend a later show next time so we dont run into the next shows crowd.
Went out for some fun on a Saturday night. Past couple times we visited the Funny Bone, we werent that impressed with the service or food. Decided to give them another shot. Drinks were pretty good, food wasnt the greatest. The tables are very small. Definitely not enough room to share with another couple when you are expected to have a 2 item minimum per person. I know you dont have to utilize that at once, however like I said, when you share the table it makes for a very small space.
I love this place would give 5 stars but the price of food for the quality isnt worth it. I would still suggest this place to anyone, but there are better places to eat for the cost.
Offers free tickets frequently. Great place for dates.
Always great entertainment. Headed now for a family show with our 13 yr old
First time and was awesome had special last minute guest Larry the Cable Guy did stand up for almost 50 minutes
Show was funny. Staff was pleasant. Everything was clean. Service was super quick.(The brownie desert tasted not-so-great; it was a huge brownie, had it been a quarter the size and tasted better, ida been okay with that.)
Great comedy club. Only complaint is having to stand in that hot staircase in the middle of summer.
JOSH BLUE-- INCREDIBLE!!! Wait staff disappointing. Food good
Collen and her team always deliver a great time! Unplug from your phone and laugh out loud! Go to the funny bone for a great time!
My husband and I love coming here for date night. The food and drinks are good and the entertainment is always great!
I absolutely love spending an evening at this place! Good food, good drinks, and decent prices.
Was an amazing experience. Loved Nick Allen and the whole crew. Was a good time. Check it out
Great place!! Staff is friendly and efficient. Good food.
The MC, the opener and the main act were all amazing! I highly recommend this place!
Love going here! Friendly staff and great comedians!
Plenty of seating however the seats are super close together. Almost too close. Had all the deserts and non were disappointing. Reasonably priced.
We saw Dry Bar Comedy Show and it was great! Lots of laughs, great drinks, and awesome food. I hope Dry Bar comes back to Omaha!
Went to see Tony Rock, I laughed til my stomach hurt. Ate Fries they were good
Really packed. Took 10 minutes to finally see our waiter and another 20 for our food to come out. Not too bad but seating arrangements suck.Dont get the dinner package just eat before and maybe buy drinks.
Took my girlfriend there for her birthday. Nice comfortable atmosphere, funny comnedians. Plan on going back soon.
Great place! The shows are amazing. The drinks a bit pricy. It would be great if waiters and waitresses only served plastic straws on request. Plastic straws are awful for the environment! Please do not serve straws without patrons requesting it. Or switch to paper straws. Let’s save our planet! Please bring Bea Tea back! He was awesome.Josh Seder and his opening act was great tonight.Thank you!
Took my mom here for her bday today. Had called and made reservations and I requested that I wanted the bday special to come out with the gong, take a pic,and get the cheesecake. So on the phone the woman said she would note that. But when we got there they never did that. But other than that the food was very very good!!
Great place for adult entertainment. Great comedians! And only two item min keeps prices low. I will keep coming back for more laughs!!!
Saw TJ miller there recently. Really nice and personal seating arrangement. Had a great time!
Love it. Wish I could make it out there more!!
Had a great time like the last time we came great entertainment n the wait staff does very well definitely coming back when possible.
Our server was awesome, but clearly outnumbered. Tierra or Cierra was her name I think. Awesome server. Easily earned her 20% tip. If youre going to pack us in like cattle, maybe your server to patron ratio should match. My food order wasnt correct, not servers fault, but when youre only one person trying to serve 40-50 people with required food & drinks, you dont have time to stop and check on each food order. I wouldnt have minded being able to get in before an hour before the show. I could have enjoyed my meal and the show. You always manage to get top acts in your club; dont let your greed of top dollar for food and drinks ruin the service. Either allow for more servers, or let us in sooner so your servers have an opportunity to give us the great service they want to give us.
Super cramped, but the comedians were hilarious!
One of the premier comedy clubs in the country. Always a great night of laughs. Wait staff is great and the owner regularly gets the best comedians in the country. Never disappoints!
Great place there is a 2 drink/food item minimum that you have on top of your ticket price so plan for that. But its all pretty good food and the nutty monkey is a awesome drink.
Always a fun time no matter who they have performing. Drinks are reasonably priced and food is better than expected.
We had a great time! The seats were perfect and the waitstaff was attentive even though the placed was packed. I see quite a few people complaining about the two item minimum but honestly, that is the norm for comedy clubs all over the country especially when you can get tickets deeply discounted on groupon or even for free in some cases. If you have never been, it is worth the try. I know we plan on making this a normal date night thing.
Comedians are usually great, but they need to figure out a better way to wait for the shows. Standing in line in stairwell is inappropriate. Very expensive for tickets for unassigned seating or first come first serve basis. Waste of time having to stand in line for an hour then to be sat way in the back. I was in a party of 4 and they sat us at a table where 2 of the chairs are facing the opposite direction of the stage. You can’t really turn the chairs around to face the stage because you are in the aisle and in the way of servers and people walking. Plus very hard to turn around to get your drinks that you have to purchase. Ridiculous you Have to purchase two items drinks/food per show per person! There were plenty of other tables that would accommodate 4 people better. I don’t understand why they would have tables the have chairs facing the back wall.
Fantastic venue, very funny presenters. Servers were very attentive, and Colleen greeted everybody and got us organized. I cant wait to return!
Very fun night and great food .
Good food and good entertainment.
Great. Just a little hard to find.
First comedy club Ive been to so keep that in mind. I still feel like this is a fair rating. The price of 2 drinks and an appetizer is about what Id expect to spend on a whole night of drinks. The service was top notch and respectful of the fact that your there to see a show. Also, Tom Segura is the funniest person on the planet and made me laugh so hard I choked on my own spit. I love ya man, and this review does not reflect your act.
The comedians were funny and drinks were good.
