Took the camper out for the weekend and it was quiet and relaxing. Lakes are a little smaller so less crowding. It had some good playgrounds, and clean campgrounds.
We love this place. Great for a relaxing afternoon or evening. If you fish, expect to lose some tackle, though. There is a beautiful view of the lake on the walking trail. Has a camp ground, and picnic areas. The dock is nice for fishing. It is busy on the weekends sometimes, but still a great place to take the family. So peaceful when you get a place out in the middle of nowhere and just sit and fish.
Okmulgee & Dripping Springs Lake & Recreation Area, Pin Oak Landing: Clean & well maintained wooded surrounding. Patrolled. Smooth asphalt roads, easy area access with ample parking. Swimming & picnic area adjacent to launch ramp with clean restroom near by including working toilet, sink, & stocked with paper hand towels. Fishing pier with cover over bench seats along back of an open dock space with edge railing including pole rest grooves. Very nice. A convenient Last Stop fishing store is located a frogs jump away on Hwy 56. Family friendly.
Great place to visit an to swim
The lake is great and the campgrounds are close to the water. You can really relax out there.
