Wish there was more water access for fishing, swimming, etc. Few areas really need to be cleaned up/renovated, but overall it has a lot of nice trails and beautiful views. Great place to take kiddos for little nature hikes. Campgrounds are well maintained but very crowded during the summer, so if your idea of camping is being sandwiched between a bunch of yokels running their generator and blaring George Strait til 3 am, then this place is right up your alley.

The trees were so beautiful . The scenic look of the lake was amazing. The park is so clean. No trash noted anywhere. Love love it with my grandchildren.

Its so pretty and peaceful there, and some awesome old structures built by WPA is still there. Its not used near as much as if used to be, back in the day we used to go camping in tents a lot there and the camp sights are still there but not very kept up, pretty sure because hardly anyone camps in tents anymore. But still a very beautiful lake with lots to do. And the spillway is definitely something to see too! ️

One of the better scenic areas. This place has it all. Im so happy my brother found this place while working in the area. RV sites, good restrooms, fishing, swimming, hiking, history, several lighted boat ramps, wonderful photos. There is a gift shop/store near the scenic overlook. Just be careful because there are no barriers or guard rails. If you take young kiddos or pets be sure to watch their steps closely.

We did a lovely sunrise hike on the nature trail. It was great!

Beautiful park. I enjoy the hiking trail that follows the lake. I usually get a good 5 to 7 mile hike in the afternoons. The campground looks nice too

Great place to get away from the crowds and enjoy a peaceful day fishing, hiking, or picnicking. Shelters are available for rental. There is a swimming area, boat ramp, and fishing dock. Campground also on the premises with public restrooms. There is also a dam which is a great place to stop and take pictures. Very nice place. Would love to go back again for another visit.

If youre looking for a peaceful place thats not jammed with people this is your spot. Mid summer and still plenty of campsites available. There is a designated Sandy swimming beach area and boat ramp. Nice shoreline hiking trails and picknic tables with grills. We didnt utilize the rest rooms, we were only there a few hours. If youre looking for a place to go without the hassle of crowded areas this is a good choice.

Nice place for family and friends. Okmulgee lake is blurring but it is very warm since June. Picnic area should be more clean but it is ok.

This place is a nice little place. We had the place to ourselves!! It was clean. Nice spots to pull your camper on. Nice shorelines. The bathrooms are not usable at our spot. Not for sure if it was clean all winter long. Could have been one of the worst we have seen. If your prepared this is a great place. I recommend this place.

This was a great off the grid spot at Dripping Springs Lake at the tent site!As for the fishing? Horrible! Seems deserted at the dam end. Asked several locals and bate shop what was the bate to use for bass. ( Trophy Bass Lake). Everyone kept talking about Crappie and Catfish. It’s like everyone said the same thing. This is a bass lake right? The lake looks beautiful and like an amazing scary bass lake! But something is weird here, because it seems to be deserted of any type of Florida strain Game fish. Also, July 4th weekend ? No one was on the lake fishing at all compared to other big bass lakes. Maybe we should call this lake “Deserted Springs”

The lake is somewhere I can go and fun and enjoy minute to myself. And to bring friends and family to be together. I just live this lake!

Birthday weekend with friends.... I absolutely LOVE camping. I love it more when you have options while relaxing, fishing, hiking, electric spots, clean restrooms,the feeling of being safe and knowing you can leave your camp site and no one will mess with it( well maybe the wild life) but it is camping

Tent camping area was so incredibly rocky, sleeping was quite a feat, also no bathrooms anywhere near camping area. All the water faucets were locked also.

Wow! Really awesome place. Great views with plenty of hiking trails. I live that they have roped off swim areas with beaches. Bathrooms are clean and in working border. There is a free shower and pay shower. Both work very well. Also, its no where near anything so its always quiet! I cant wait to go back.

Just beautiful.Come for the water, but stay for the land. Pin oaks and spotted oaks are everywhere, salted with wonderful ancient sandstone covered with about every kind of moss and lichen there is. The whole landscape is rich green shades set against greying tree trunks, sere old grass, and water vividly mimicking the sky. I think well bring the kayak next time.

This place is amazing. Quiet and clean. I swam in Dripping Springs lake and it was enjoyable. Not to far from home there is a gun range down the road and the W.M.A Lands. Two boat ramps. The shore have small to big irregular rocks that litter the shore of each lake.

Okmulgee might not have a lot of great things but their lake is one of them! They have so many beautiful trails and different parts of the lake to swim at just in case one is too crowded. Their camping spots are very cheap as well! Such a great place to bring the family or friends and have a great time!

Such a great camp. Many spacious RV pads with water and electric hookups almost every campsite has a fire pit, there are separate tent camping areas, beautiful view, well-kept grounds, lots of boat docking areas, and many swimming holes. The only negative thing I would say about it is the free bathroom by the dump station doesnt look like its cleaned very often or very thoroughly. theres a lot of mildew and mold in the shower stalls and tons of bugs. But other than that its a great place, we go often.

Hello! Dripping springs is the worst place I’ve ever camped at. They told us we weren’t allowed to ride jet skis and we got a foul language complaint?? (Freedom of speech?) it’s full of nothing but old people. If you want to drink, cuss, or do anything fun, don’t go here

It was very nice and clean. Water was low,but nice and cool. I had the whole swimming area to myself. It was a great day.

Nice small lake. Not too far from home for a quick Saturday fishing trip. Plenty of places to get out of the wind. Caught several nice crappie.

Great place to go swim, boat or camp! They also have camper/rv storage. There are places where you can pull in and have a lookout spot. Amazing view would recommend anyone to go there in the evening and look over that part of the lake

Hickory point was good really insecure around people though. Oak point was a great spot to swim.

Nice campground and lake, although Ive been to much nicer in Oklahoma. We had a very nice campground manager. Overall, nice quiet place to camp and pretty scenery around it. Supposed to be decent fishing but we didnt have much luck.. enjoy!

Love coming here. A good place for fishing, swimming, and boating. Even some areas for camping, though not exactly off the beaten trail like the kind of camping I prefer. Nice area for peaceful drives or just sight seeing. Also some decent walking trails with nice views of the lake.

We arrived on a Friday and left on Sunday. We had a great time at this lake. We stayed at Hickory campgrounds. Park was clean and well maintained. Restrooms on our end of the campsites are good! A lot of friendly people ! We will revisit this lake!

This is a very clean facility and the spaces are generous. I just wish that all of the sites had sewer. Beautiful views of the lake.
