Stockyards Stampede Saturday October 20th, 2018. What a great event it was started off with stampeded through Main Street, awesome gun fights on streets, free foods and many cowboys on horse and guitar singers to entertain spectators. Good restaurants and Western wears to eat and shop while you wait in between events.

If you have never seen a cattle stockyard, Im told the stockyard itself is interesting. The shopping is quaint and western. The VERY best is Cattlemans EVERYTHING is made in-house. Its a must eat here while in OKC. I hear the breakfast is even really good!!

Not sure what the problem is here, but the business folks are not friendly, in general. Sure, Im sure some of them will smile at you on occasion, but on my last visit to this neighborhood, I couldnt tell if I was welcome at these establishments or not.

If you are traveling to or thru OKC. This is a great place to stop, shop and eat. The shops are in the original buildings. They are as western as they can be. Eat at a restaurant that originally was one in a dice game rolling a hard 6. Cattlemans Restaurant rated 6th in the top 50 steak house in the USA. Stockyards City is a great place to visit.

Wgat a fun piece of American History and a cool place to buy authentic American West clothing. The place is a bit of a ghost town but filled with gems and sites you need to look for. Take a step into Americas past, check out the cows and just say you did it. The food is good, the stores are great, the people are friendly, yall have a good day now yah hear.....

So much to do, so much to see. This visit was to the Centenial Radio Opry followed by a fantastic dinner at the World Famous Cattlemens Cafe. . .now known as Cattlemens Steakhouse

The place is fun and a few stores are really cool but the rest is kinda run down. I was expecting more but then again I visited on a Sunday.

What family friendly fun! Who doesnt love a Christmas parade that kicks off with Oklahoma long horn steer?!?!

What a great place I load cattle out of there all the time

The peppercorn steak is very delicious. T bone is good but not worth the price tag. Good service, nice environment but I dont like when they sit you in the cafe part. Something about eating a $30 steak in a cafe setting ruins it.

They have some nice places to shop and a great restaurant, Cattlemans Steakhouse.

Good place to grab a steak but i would prefer Salt Grass steak house . its kinda expensive but in my opinion way better than cattlemans

Catlemans great food. Nice shops for western clothes, boots and cowboy hats. Interesting Pharmacy. By the way every big city I have been to has poor people that walk around, I carry no problem.

Its a old Western restaurant thats been opened since 1910,thats over 100 years of services and thats the whole beauty of it...the best quality,their food.

I love the old feel to this part of town, and its always on a to do list when family comes to visit.

A bit of the West still lives on in the middle of OKC. Sheriffs with six-shooters ride their horses alongside pickups. You can get a new hat and a steak all in the same block.
