The staff at the hotel was very friendly. They were amazing at helping me set up a room for a special occasion. The room they put me in was excellent. I am very happy with the upgrades they are doing. Will definitely be coming back! Definitely recommend!!

Older building, so will take time but overall, ALWAYS enjoy my stay at Habana Majority of staff, absolutely amazing! Cant wait to see in future ALL the planned upgrades & new venue(s)...Of course like any place, couple here & there not friendly or at all helpful.(ATTENTION: If you havent gone or stayed in rooms, I encourage you to do so. Rooms were as clean as any other hotel stay, compared to some Id say even BETTER, despite again upgrades and new features. 4/5.

Property is improving but if not full or close to selling out should try to block all guest in poolside area to create more community. From understanding 3rd party bookings are blocked away leaving lots of vacant rooms around pool. When renovating suggest adding irons and ironing boards limit Reno budget but modernize with dark grey on brick in rooms and outdoors light grey on bedroom walls paint all wood white paint bathroom a sage green and maybe remove tubs and just tile floors with drain for standing shower. Consider removing carpet as a whole as less work on housekeeping as they could use swiffers on a maybe wood tile flooring or laminate. Fix ac in lobby / outlets offer poolside services

I understand the hotel is in early stages of a complete renovation which can’t come a minute too soon. On the plus side the staff was friendly and helpful. On the negative side - and there’s a lot - my room was tired and dumpy. The brown carpeting was stained and worn out. Two of the lamps in the room didn’t work which was probably fine since I didn’t really want to see things more clearly. The room stank and felt damp. I checked in at 1am or I would have immediately left. The final straw for me was going to get into the shower the next morning and the bottom of the tub was littered with pubic hair. Oddly the towels appeared to be new and were plush and clean.

Always a good value. Anxious to see proposed renovations. Would feel safer if the property had their own security guard patrolling. There some guys outside that I don’t think were staying there. Concerning

Needs updating, and I’m aware that is in the works. Television and phone did not work and maid service had a lot to be desired. But fun trip all in all.

We did not go in. Appearance horrible, felt unsafe, appeared like a meth/drug house. We cancelled and made other arrangements. Surprised Expedia would list this place on the website. We use Expedia often and have never had a bad experience like this and we would appreciate a full refund.

Hotels.com needs to make sure everyone is aware this is an adult only gay resort. I did not know this when I booked a room for my husband and son and when they got there they were shocked.

First, this place is exclusively active place for cursing: one of reviews complains about no children policy (of course it must be no children allowed unless you want your kids to be exposed to the super sleazy gay sex). I knew of this place as a gay resort but it is actually a whore hole.Second, check wasnt that easy. The front desk was absent for 15 mins when I arrived at 11:40 pm. The first room assigned was stink so I asked to change the room. The front desk person seems not well trained at all.

We were unable to check in due to having mut children. Its adult only. B

No hair dryer, no coffee in room, no microwave, no refrigerator, filthy rooms, torn smelly carpet.

The hotel lost power and we had to leave. No heat no water no lights

I booked this place quickly due to the ice storm taking out all of the power all across the city. It was really nice and toasty up until the generators crashed around 11pm/midnight. Stayed there since it was my only choice that evening, disappointed to get charged full price for the room when we were all there for the electricity. Will probably try again on another occasion, really disappointed on the policies.
