Had an amazing time. Wish wed come to see a show sooner. Just watch out for people spilling their beer on you if youre on a lower section because...that happens. The staff was very nice and helpful. Looking forward to attending another show. The parking was easy on the south side of the venue. It cost just $10.

The Civic Center is a great venue for plays, musicals, ballets, or Philharmonic performances. Ive been visiting since I was a kid doing recitals and have some great memories. Great option for a date night or a family outing. Not really a bad seat in the house.

Needed accessible seating for my grandmother. Called to ensure I got the best tickets with no stairs. When I asked where the seats where once inside, they directed us to the normally correct area, which requires stairs. There was a way to get to our seats without stairs but it required a much longer route. Also, there are very slow elevators for the entire Civic center, so before or after an event there is a large line, and many people use the elevator who dont need to. Lastly, after the show, the ushers were forcing us to leave very quickly, but we were waiting for others to leave because we needed more time to exit. Overall just seems poorly run.

Our volunteer usher, Craig, went above and beyond to help my wife who was stuck in traffic coming from an event at work. He watched out for her and even helped guide her in between numbers! Hamilton was incredible, but the outstanding hospitality made us love the Civic Center Music Hall and OKC Arts even more!

My wife and I went to the Christmas show, put on by the orchestra. The show was excellent. Five star performance. The coffee shop is another experience. She ordered a latte with almond milk to avoid a digestive issue. She paid 4.50 for the drink. There was a long line. The cup was only filled half, thankfully. Because they gave her milk. She was up the rest of the night. She usually watches to make sure she get what she wants. But lost track of the cup. I probably could overlook the mistake. If I was sure that everyone received a full cup. If that is the case then mistakes happen. If not the experience is unacceptable.

My biggest suggestion is buy your tickets directly from the Civic Center website. All the other ticket places cost two to three times as much. You can park within a block of the building but be prepared to pay for parking. I also suggest arriving early for the best parking. As for the Civic Center the acoustics are great. You can hear every word, even whispers of those on stage. Every seat has an excellent view of the stage. The performances are top notch.

View from j13 in the mezzanine. A decent venue. Word clarity is lost a bit from my seats on the louder, higher parts, where the whole ensemble was singing, and opera glasses would have helped, but good enough seats. I could see the stage and identify characters, and could hear what was sung (with the exception of the above-mentionedVenue needs more restrooms. Ladies might plan to go just before or just after intermission, if possible.

First time experience... easy to get to, free parking close (after 6 on the street) or a couple of parking lots very near--charging $10).. its a beautiful venue. We saw Mannheim Steamroller this evening. Awesome! Our seats were mezzanine, center... really fine view and the sound was great. Our seats were fairly comfortable as in they did not distract us from the concert. The rows are a bit narrow but didnt cause any problems for us. We drove from a couple of hours away so we wish there had been food vendors inside (like at the BOK center in Tulsa) You could get beverages and snacks on the main floor, but not really dinner fare. Minor thing, tho. It wont keep us from wanting to see another production or concert there. Only negative... a couple to our right whipped out their cell phones to take pics/record. Really?! Not cool... fortunately there was an usher right behind who explained that cameras/photography/videos are not allowed during a performance. It is very rude to use a cell phone during a concert, play or move (etc)

We saw Hamilton here. The show was wonderful, but the theatre was not built to handle being at capacity seating. Lines for the bathroom were at least 30 minutes long, and the placement of the seats lacks any aisles in the middle. While this wouldnt matter in a smaller theatre, in this case the long rows results in plenty of awkward shuffling past seated people to get to the middle seats.
