It was closed when we got there and the playground outside of it needed some TLC. Cool looking old fire truck but not much else to see. Well how to come see the actual museum when covid is over.
This was a great place to visit! The price was reasonable and the visit was well worth it. The docent was very knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy talking about different things in the museum and answering questions. My 11 year old daughter loved it, my 9 and 7 year old daughters had more fun playing on the playground. While we were there we saw a couple of younger kids that were thrilled seeing all the older fire trucks inside! There is a memorial, small playground and a couple of old fire trucks outside that is free to see.
This museum has a wonderful collection of firefighting equipment. The Fallen and Living Memorial is very impressive and moving.
This is a fun place to take the kids.educational, youre not allowed to climb on the indoor fire trucks. But there is a playground outside that has all this firefighter stuff. The kids can run and explorer to their hearts content.. theres also a small area where you can purchase little firefighter toys and stuff. The out side park is free inside you pay
Still closed for covid, so we wandered around outside. Seems like they could be open but I guess the bigwigs cant make a decision. Bummer.
Great museum! I’ve driven by for years but I had never been in before, glad I finally stopped to look inside. Wonderful collection of patches from fire departments from all over the world, nicely organized. Beautifully restored historic fire engines & other memorabilia . I enjoyed my visit
My husband and I enjoyed this museum. We will definitely recommend it.
Fantastic place to see! Loved it.
My wife, daughter and I were in town with some friends and had a little time to spend after an event before leaving town. We chose to visit the Oklahoma Fire Fighters Museum and we were glad we did. We got a personal tour from the gentleman on duty. Our favorite part was seeing the “old station” mockup with the working alarms and how they worked “back-in-the-day.” The memorial outside was very somber and honored the men and women that have given so much to protect and save others.
Cool Place. A lot to see. I love the old Fire Bell when they turn it on.
When ai am in town, i always enjoy stopping bye. Today, got tgere just a tad too lwte, but still walked around outside . Will hsve to come earlier next time . You have an outstanding collection of Fire History.
Small but great. A little pricy for such a small museum, but its got some cool exhibits for the kids and anyone who loves firemen or the history of the Oklahoma Firefighters
Nice little museum with some amazing items.
Did not visit Museum. Used parking for Katy Bicycle Trail. Which was okay. Between 50th and 36th on Grand or 5 sidewalk. South of NE 36th nice asphalt bike path on abandoned RR right of way.
It was a very educational and entertaining visit.
It was a great experience for me, my mom, and my sister. They could use some additional funding so go if you can or, if possible, make donations. And that includes brining in old fire stuff.
Great museum lots of old stuff to see patches were great from all over the country well worth the $5 to see it
I love looking at old firefighter equipment and history.
Great place. The entire history of the fire service in Oklahoma on display. Not to mention a great play ground with old firetrucks and an interactive playground. Just an awesome stop right off I35 right next door to the zoo !!
A very humbling experience, I appreciate the memorial for both those who given the ultimate sacrifice in their service to the comunnity. But it also honors those still striving to protect their comunity it was an honor to see .
Cool place to go if you are into the firefighter field or if you want to learn About firefighters and their gears. You will see alot of the classic firetrucks. Awesome stuff
Impressive old-time fire equipment. Very kid friendly
Nice little museum. Loved the huge patch collection!
Our entire family loved going to this museum. All the different trucks were so cool. They have so much to look at you might wanna take your time when you go.
Very cool museum and a great host.
Cool little museum to visit with lots of history. The guy working the counter wasn’t very helpful, but I enjoyed the experience!
Really neat place full of history. But not kid friendly. Our 3 small children wanted to climb on everything so it was a hassle to keep them off all the firetrucks. So if you want to enjoy reading and learning, dont take the kids. They do have a neat playground outside. Also, the staff is very knowledgeable about all things fire related (water sprinklers for example).
A beautiful tribute to the men and women who serve their city and others all over this country.
Im glad this little place didnt cost more because it was surprisingly small. I dnt want to bad mouth it, but unfortunately it only consisted of basically 2 rooms with some older trucks (which was cool), all the fire patches from stations from all over, and assume diorama. So, it was cute, but over fairly quickly. Im glad we did not have my 7 year old with us, she wouldnt have done well there.
Super cool for kids and adults to call sit and see firetrucks and anything related to the firemen of Oklahoma City
Wonderful museum! Lots of interesting historical exhibits. Very well maintained. We had a great time!
Great place to see old fire engines.
I recently visited the museum with my wife and son. It was a great experience: the museum isnt huge, but you can tell it is maintained by a caring staff who are more than willing to answer questions. We spent ~1 hour at the museum and left with a few souveniers and a few more stories. A wonderful experience all around!
We took our assisted living home residents here for an outing and had the best time! We had a personal tour from their archivist, who was incredibly knowledgeable. Everyone was very friendly from the moment we walked through the door until the moment we left. Definitely a must see for everybody.
Very nice. Well put together
Great place full of firefighting memorabilia. Wonderful staff. Clean. Everyone enjoyed from our 6 yr old grandson to us old folks.
Very entertaining! Kids had fun.
Great museum, full of curiosities. We could have spent more time in there just admiring the detailed engineering that’s been put into the noble task of fire fighting. It’s not like they grabbed generic wagons and made some adaptations. Check it out!
Very cool, lovely memorial in the middle of the city! Love its vicinity to the zoo and Tinseltown
Great place to bring the kids and grandkids to educate them about firefighter s
Wonderful museum. You should go.
Had a great time at the Oklahoma state firefighters association museum. My grandsons were fascinated with all of the fire trucks fire equipment and looking at the dioramas and seeing all of the old Badges from all the different fire departments from all over the world.
I really enjoyed this museum. It doesnt take too much time, and it was fairly quiet when I was there. Nice place! The man at the counter wasnt very friendly. Not even a smile. :-(
Always something new to find. Amazing collection of firefighter artifacts
The kids love rolling down the hill and the park is great too

Awesome place to visit
If you ever wanted to be a fireman when you were a kid, this is the place for you! You can while away an afternoon looking at all the equipment, the firefighting gear, the clothes, the mass, the helmets, everything a firefighter needs. This is a place you should visit, especially after 9/11.
Not worth the admission fee. Two rooms - thats it.
Huge Fan of this place.
A very interesting place with not only Oklahoma exhibits but from all over ..very interesting
Interesting road trip stop. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable!
Great experience for the whole family
Not a whole lot there but its really interesting
Pretty boring. Not for kids. Do not touch signs everywhere.
It was super awesome
Always informative and the people there like to show you the items on display.
Very well displayed. Interesting exhibit for every age.

I took my son here but he want aloud to touch ANYTHING. And there wasnt anything he could do except play on a playground outside that was infested with bees.
