Really cool place, they definitely seem to care for the animals, however one of the big snakes was crawling with mites, he seemed like the only one though... Someone also walked off from the street with a banana and fed it peel, sticker, and all to the tortoise, none of the employees saw him though. They are very friendly and seem to care for the animals I believe they just need money for some upgrades on the small cages and such, otherwise this is a great place to go and have fun!!! I really enjoyed it despite the few iffy things.

What a wonderful place!! My husband took me here on a date and we LOVED it. It was a little cramped, but the displays were amazing. The smell was a little strong - but to be expected with multiple open enclosures. The snakes were all beautiful and healthy. They had tons of snake skins and fang jewelry to purchase. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming!!Even though it was a snake exhibit, the Galapagos Tortoise was my favorite!! He just turned 30 and doesnt look a day over 500. He was SO sweet and would have let me pet him all day.One of the staff brought a constrictor out while his tank was being cleaned and let the kids pet him. I especially loved one of the staff showing me a ready-to-hatch rattlesnake egg.The best part was that its FREE!! What a fun date day when youre on a budget!! We loved it so much we still donated. We will definitely be visiting again!!

Gorgeous reptiles and I appreciate that they’re trying to allow the public to see and learn about snakes, but these poor animals are not being cared for properly. All of the enclosures are far too small, animals don’t have places to hide, multiple snakes are being kept in a single enclosure which is dangerous for the animals, several had raw noses and damaged scales from scraping at wire cages trying to get out because they were uncomfortable, and a lot of the enclosures were very dirty (which accounts for the smell). I’m glad it was free because I would’ve felt very guilty contributing money to the continued neglect of all of these animals.

This place is an awesome free stop with a huge amazing tortoise. I dont think anyone should have all these deadly snakes especially in such small cages. This museum is more like a personal collection of over 50 deadly snakes in 20 gallon aquariums built into a wall display. They did a live feeding for a family that stopped in the kids enjoyed watching a little mouse twitch out its last breath between the fangs of a rattlesnake. A testament the the freedom of america i can own as many deadly snakes as i want! Watch what you say here or they might throw you in the pit!

Very wonderful experience at this museum. The owners and wonderful people that are very good with young children. They allowed the children to feed their giant tortoise and pet the python. They were passionate about their work and it was fun to listen to them. They even fed some snakes for us which was brutal but awesome! It is free but they have a donation bin. Great place to come if you home school and want to encourage real world connection in Social Studies, and Science. Also literacy as a packet filled with facts about each reptile within the museum is handed out. It is small so if you use mobility devices it will be hard to move and see lower shelf displays. It is a free museum as we all know not many free museum in the OKC area.

I loved being able to take the children to this.It was very informative with information of every snake. The man is very nice that owns it.By donations only but would be very much appreciated by the almost 400 pound turtle they have there and can touch.Amazing! They also have snakes I would never imagine I would get to see other than T.V..The museum also has a baby king cobra....when I say baby..the snake has its own room and is 8 feet in length and growing .It is a have to family trip or great school trip idea.
