Old but great place to see some good plays and good dances.

Reviewing even before show starts. Called to ensure social distancing. Was told there was: THERE IS NOT! People directly in front of me and immediately back of me. How is that social distancing when I don’t have to move to touch the people around me.HOWEVER, so thankful we came. The show was absolutely amazing! Props.

The show THRILLER was fantastic! It was easy to access and we found parking with ease. I havent here for years and thought it was amazing! I am definitely going back!

The theater is old and beyond beautiful. But the sitting isnt the greatest. Im very short and they dont have a big enough incline that I am able to see most of the time.

Best theatre in town! Theres always something going on at the Egyptian, and so much of it is family friendly (as long as your kids are old enough to sit through things- I would recommend at least kindergarten age unless its a specific childrens show) There are concerts by local artists, movie nights, film festivals, local ballet companies, Ogden Musical Theatre, and you have to experience Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Egyptian! They have a super friendly crew, making it nice to see familiar faces each time were there. Its also fun when theres someone playing the Wurlitzer organ before shows. The whole building has a warm cozy feel. Yes, the lobby is a bit small, but realize how old the building is- they did what they could with the space they had. It is actually a lot larger than it used to be back in the day because the box office and concession area arent where they used to be. They did a beautiful job restoring the old theatre and its one of the rare treasures of Ogden.

I havent been to an event here that I havent enjoyed. Most recently we attended the #IF4 Fly Fishing Film Festival, great hosts and great venue... Ogden is a hell of a town.

Seeing Polar Express was so much fun. Thank you for all the extras and the Santa visit. Way to get us all into the holiday spirit! :)

Beautiful, brings back memories of my childhood. Recently saw Back to the Future with my granddaughter, sister & daughter.

Kinda old and outdated. Chairs make your back hurt after an hour. It was just okay but not terrible.

Beautifulky restored historical venue. Great cultural programming with lots of family friendly choices and unique performances from live dance and theater to silent movies with a live organ.

Historic theater. Nice place to spend a night out while on a business trip. Watched a projected movie, enjoyed a beer, popcorn and nachos.

This is a beautiful theater, with great management as far as the only time I have worked with them. I worked with them for their Evening of BurlesqueFacilities were very clean, staff nice, and was an all around enjoyable experience. I wouldnt hesitate coming here again.

Its beautiful. Reasonable parking available. Every seat in the house gets you a great show. Been there multiple times ans I love it.

Love the old theater and vintage decker. We have seen bands, the symphony, plays, the nutcracker and other programs. It is such a comfortable fun venue.

Great place for family fun. They need more stuff going on. But just went to Peter pan the musical and it was great. Hopefully this is the start of a more regular docket of quality theater.

Very clean, easy to see the stage from just about every seat, sound was slightly off but overall very enjoyable. Next time we will pick seats further from the stage as the slope will allow even my kids to not have to worry about someone blocking the view.

It was the most happiest moment and memorable experience I had in the last 50 years. The program was the most beautiful, colorful and claiming feeling around all different nationalities enjoying like we were all one family like it should be.

Banff Mtn Film Festival was such fun - cant wait till next year

Love this beautiful, ornate theatre. It has character and a richness. Dare I say SOUL! Aside from descriptive words, it seems that it has a great view from whenever one is seated. The acoustics are fantastic. Its such a warm place to see a show! I recommend The Peerys as a venue!

Just went to see a screening of Napoleon Dynamite, followed by a live Q&A with staring actor Jon Heder. Events like this are exactly what separates the Egyptian from anything else around.

I beautiful piece of Ogdens history! We wstched the opening night of the Warren Miller ski film and the seats and the screen we viewed it on were great!

It was wonderful the people that work there are very helpful at finding your place to sit. The nutcracker ballet was highly exceptional.

The theater felt run down and shabby. There were times the the dancers broke character. It was still a good experience for my daughters.

Was awesome! Saw The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The place was tore up afterwards. Thanks for cleaning up after us. You guys are great!

It was an awesome concert held here! The office of food and drinks were cheaper here then other venues and even cheaper then going to the movies, but more then going to a fast food place. The seating was great too, the double letter seats bring you right next to the stage. This place just has a very unique look to it.

A fine venue, but it could use a larger lobby. There is very little room to wait in before a show.

Love this place. So unique. More people should go. I really want this place to stay in business. Would be a tragedy to see it close its doors.

Saw the Greatest Showman sing along here with my daughter tonight. It was a fantastic experience! A great atmosphere and beautiful theater. Ill be going back for many more shows to help show my support and help keep this wonderful place open for years to come.

The staff was very rude. This is definitely not a family friendly theater. If you’re wanting to take you’re kids to a play, ballet, etc. FIND A DIFFERENT THEATER!! The “House Manager” lady was unbelievably rude to me and my family.

This was my first time going to the Egyptian Theatre and it was for the Crosscurrents show (Zakir Hussain, David Brimhall, etc). The setting was absolutely beautiful and the owner had came on stage prior to the show advising how the building is now 100(+) years old. The seatings were comfortable and the stage lighting was captivating. Will return a night without a show playing. Bonus: They concession snacks to buy.

There isnt a bad seat in the theater! Snack bar had beer and snacks, soda too. Great atmosphere and sound was great.

It is so pretty there there is a lot of setting. And the art is wonderful.

This is the 2nd year my granddaughter has had a dance competition here and we really enjoy being here. It is beautiful. They are very welcoming and kind. I came here to watch movies as a young girl.

Fun shows, but the seats are a little narrow and the sound quality is not great.

The imitation of ancient Egyptian art is still beautiful.As far as I can tell the sound system is state of the art but my favorite is the starry sky ceiling.Downtown parking can be a pain, so if you have an event there youll want to get there fairly early.

Beautiful! Timeless! The perfect setting for Kurt Bestor conducting the live orchestra for a performance of Imagine Ballets The Secret Garden choreographed by Raymond Van Mason. The troupe was professional and gorgeously costumed for this wonderful ballet!!!

Wonderful show. Have seen it 3 times and going again tonight with different people because I talked so much about it they wanted to go also. Frank and Annie blended so great together. The theater is beautiful. Everyone, go see what Ogden Musical Theater has to offer.

Awkward box office. If busy, do not enter through the outside box office door. Enter through lobby or south entrance. Beautiful theater. Not a bad seat. Comfortable.

Amazing performance of Annie get your gun. The production value is quite high. Excellent actors, and Annie seems to be perfectly suited to her role. Outside of that specific show, the theater has consistently quality performances. Highly recommend.

We have seen a live musical there which was fantastic! Top quality performers. Very reasonable prices. Recently, we went to The Sound of Music sing-along. It was a lot of fun. Cant wait to go to another one! The theater is beautifully restored art deco, Egyptian style.

Went with my family and was kicked out because the kids were being to loud when they were barely over a whisper. the two kids in front of us were fighting and the kids behind us were screaming after every part, I come here every year but I guess I wont be coming anymore. The house manager sat and waited for them to make one peep, I will not be coming back till they get their managers under control and quit bulldogging customers.

This theater has an awesome Egyptian motif. The seats are moderately comfortable. The events that weve attended, a Banff movie festival, the Nutcracker, and storytelling have been entertaining. Whatever seat weve had weve been able to see the stage.

I have loved coming to this theater for years. Every experience here is wonderful.

Seat selection is weird cant buy certain amount of tickets online which made me have to buy an extra ticket and sit very back row of the box which is impossible to see we have to stand up for the entire show very uncomfortable sadly as for looks and uniqueness this place was pretty cool

Awesome environment. A unique experience for a show/play/concert. My only gripe is the concessions. The staff is working hard but the line moves slower than molasses on a cold morning in Minnesota! Plan alon getting there extra early if you want concessions.

We attended this historic theater for a performance of Tchaikovskys The Nutcracker. This was a wonderful experience. Not a poor seat in the house. The theater is small with an orchestra pit and stage to the front. Intricately decorated, the ceiling has stars lit when the house lights are down for a really pleasant ambiance. Decorated in old Egyptian motif, this was fun for the kids to explore and sight see. Many wonderful performances held here throughout the year. Prices were very reasonable and supporting of the Ogden Arts performances. Would attend another event here in a moments offering.

Took our son here for the Polar Express movie showing!They handed out bells and Swiss Miss.We will most definitely be back.Very awesome customes service, very accommodating with our baby!He cried mid movie and the woman at the top asked if I wanted her seat, I think she thought I breastfeed.It was very sweet, even though I dont anymore!
