I cant recommend Savage Tattoo enough. The whole atmosphere is awesome and welcoming. I immediately felt at ease! Klozr has done 2 pieces for me now, and just booked my third! Id waited many years to get my first, because I wanted it to be perfect. This tattoo was in memory of my dad, and my baby Id lost. Making the appointment was simple, and the video consult (was done over FaceTime due to COVID-19)left me feeling like Chris had chosen the right artist for me. From start to finish Klozr did an awesome job on my tattoo, put my mind at ease, and really seemed to understand the importance of this piece. I had been on the hunt for a perfect tattoo shop + artist to do a memorial tattoo for my husband. After a consultation with their staff, and lots of pictures, I was told Chado would be the guy to do it - and he was absolutely the perfect artist! He did a PHENOMENAL job on a half-sleeve for my husband, incorporating different memorial pieces and flowers for one cohesive tattoo. I didn’t really know exactly what I wanted, so I told Chado kind of an idea of what I wanted. He came up with something better than I could imagine! This was my very first tattoo! I am so happy that they put me with Spencer! He was so calm and chill when talking to that he put my mind at ease. I went for a watercolor art tattoo on my forearm and he seriously is a master! I absolutely love it! I had debated getting this tattoo for five years! Louie hooked it up!! Awesome guy and an even greater artist! I came in with a custom idea and he was able to help contribute while still keeping the integrity of my original idea. Super positive environment in the shop, love the energy in there. By far the best tattoo shop and artist I’ve ever been to. Louie’s the man, his work speaks for itself but I still wanted to shout him out so other people get the opportunity to get a true work of art like I was able to. I would definitely recommend Savage tattoo! I got my sons foot print his name and birthday on my forearm. Klozr did an amazing job duplicating my sons foot print and taking his time to make sure everything was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better tattoo that means so much to me.

As a woman, I would never feel comfortable getting a tattoo here. When you walk in it feels more like a gym locker room than an art studio or tattoo parlor. The tattoo area is crowded, unorganized and very uncomfortable. The owner is very unprofessional and couldn’t care less about his clients or employees. There are many other shops in Ogden that will make you feel comfortable and give you a beautiful piece of work.

My first experience getting a tattoo! I decided to go for two and Klozr did an awesome job! He was great at answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable. Everyone there was friendly!

Went here two years ago and service was great and tattoo was great. Somewhere between now and then Savage Tattoo has bestowed it upon themselves to try and be the most difficult tattoo shop to work with. I’ve gone to tattoo shops where two artists from ink master were doing work and they were a lot more accommodating than these guys. Big fish in a small pond attitude is all you’re going to find here.

I am exceedingly happy with my tattoo from Klozr. I went to Savage based on a recommendation from a friend, Klozr was helpful and friendly during our consultation. I described what I was looking for, told him this would be my first. He walked me through the process. The day finally arrived, when I got there everyone was so nice and helped calm my nerves tremendously. The drawing was perfect, exactly what I was looking for. The experience overall was great and I would highly recommend Savage Tattoos to anyone looking for a tattoo.

I have gotten two tattoos from Savage Tattoo, both done by Klozr. My first tattoo is an abstract drawing of an owl that covers the entire front of my thigh. He made sure to keep every detail the same, as it is a memorial tattoo for my family member who originally drew the owl. I just got my second tattoo, which is a delicate flower on my foot.I felt welcomed and comfortable during both of my visits. The shop is clean, and everyone is so friendly. Klozr and all of the other artists are very talented!Can’t wait to go back and get my 3rd Savage tattoo!

Searching around I was looking for a good place to get a saying tattoo right on my ribs. Google took me to savage, where they had a free consultation appointment I could set up. When I went in for my consultation the artist I was going to talk to was currently working with someone, which was nice to be-able to see them already “in the zone”. He stopped and talking to be about my design and we set up an appointment. Simple and easy. No hassle. Everyone there was very friendly. I struggled for 15 years trying to find an artist I can trust who could do solid, quality work that would be unique to them and myself. I found Savage Tattoo and the process was streamlined. I showed them my idea and this is when I met Colin, Colin took my idea, worked his mad skills and produced a super sick work of art. Colin made the piece his own, added his personal touch and tweaked it while he worked. The piece turned out better than I could have ever expected. I recommend Colin for any work you need or want done. He’s super meticulous, very hygienic and sterile, pays attention to detail and makes the time you spend with him worth the wait. Good work ain’t cheap and his price is more than reasonable.

Savage Tattoo provided top notch service. My artist spent almost 40 hours over a 4 day period to complete the work. They took the time to understand the meaning behind each of my tattoo concepts, they brought me in to the design process and authentically cared about my project.I had mine done at the Miami location. I then showed up (back to where I live in Utah) and stopped by their shop to change out my Saniderm. The team there was also, they took care of me right away.Couldn’t be happier with my experience and the piece of art on my arm.

I was excited to be able to go in and get a meaningful tattoo that I finally was in the right space of mind to get. Chado did great listening to me and was really professional. Its exactly what I wanted and he did an amazing job.

Great tats...uptight BUSINESS stars are for the artist and screening process. That is all.Got a “free consultation $50 value” although all of my consults throughout my 20 year tattoo experiences have been free, but hey, thank you for that. I really liked the screening process, they wanted a specific idea of my tat idea style so they could match me up with the perfect artist. I was matched with Chado and it was perfect! I wanted two tattoos with significant meaning but I did not have a specific ‘cut and trace’ reference and needed an artist to actually draw for me. Chado gave me his time and we talked and planned out my pair of tats. I was shocked at the sticker price, never had I ever paid but a fraction of the suggested fee for any of my art but relieved at the option to finance. I tried to tell myself that it’s the new market, personalized attention and reluctantly accepted the price. I came prepared to pay what was asked and Chado way more than exceeded expectations while charging less than quoted. I was relieved that I wouldn’t have to finance the remaining balance. I’m extremely satisfied with my artwork from Chado. He was great company/conversation during the tat. We scheduled the second tattoo with intention to finance. I am also extremely satisfied with the aftercare procedures as it was effortless and provided excellent results.Now, that being said, the surrounding social environment was...for lack of a better word, uncomfortable. The only time anybody other than Chado engaged with me was for marketing purposes. I got roped into an ad before I was able to express my desire to abstain. I signed away my rights for marketing when I signed to get the tat; I thought that meant a pic or two, not videos. I realize I could have spoken up, but it happened so fast. Also, the atmosphere felt so uptight. I’m a part of the lgbtq community and my preferred pronouns were not acknowledged in spite of my insisting multiple times. Chado made an effort and I realize it’s difficult at times for people but to be ignored or disregarded is hurtful.After the first tat being completed, I looked around to see what other artists would charge for the second. I was getting quotes for 30-50% less than the original quote. I went to Savage and they tried to set me up with another artist saying those places are cheaper cuz you get what you pay for. I resisted, they offered discounts off already ridiculously priced tattoos. I found out Chado had moved on to another shop. I decided since I had committed to Chado for the pair and he had already put so much thought and effort into it, that I would just let him finish my pair. He honored my financing option and still charged me way less than originally quoted. I’m super happy with my results. My experience tattooing with Chado was great. It was even better after he left Savage tattoo.

I just moved to Utah from Wyoming a year ago and struggled to find a tattoo shop. I finally decided to make an appointment with Klozr at Savage and I am SO happy. The shop had a great vibe, very fun and energetic. I was extremely comfortable with my artist and with the environment which is very important to me when getting tattoos. After a lot of research I decided on Savage Tattoos for my first piece. Chado was amazing to work with! I was nervous and didn’t know exactly what to expect, but he did everything he could to make it comfortable. I can’t recommend Chado and Savage Tattoos enough.

Dax is the most intelligent man that I know he surrounds himself with the best of the best. At savage tattoo these guys feed off each other in order to step up their work, minds, and lives. They out do themselves each time with each of the core values they have plastered on their wall in order to bring out not only the best in themselves but the best in their clients. Dax is so talented and such a humble person that just wants to help. Give him the opportunity to help you as well as himself to tattoo and talk to you. You will not be disappointed.

Sooo I payed 400 for 4 hours of his time and he said thats my 4 hour time so when I went to add on to the first piece he tattooed on me he told me it would cost 650 for 3 and a half hours?!?! He also talked with another client for like 30 minutes during my tattoo time. He wouldnt draw out what I wanted. And he changed what he drew on me half way through it still looks okay but we agreed on what he first drew out on my arm. This was my first tattoo and I didnt know what to expect so I trusted him which I should not have! 2/10 I would not recommend this shop.

Louie was my tattoo artist, and I have to say he did a fantastic job. When I arrived I was greated promptly, and everyone there was very respectful and professional. With this covid going around he made sure everything was sanitized. Louie made sure my tattoo was exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend Louie, he did a fantastic job! I got my first tattoo there and they where awesome. Colin treated me right and walked me through the whole thing. My tattoo was very complex with different styles mixed into one tattoo and Colin killed it. I would highly recommend them if you are looking at getting some work done. Colin was honest and gave me feedback on what would look and do well as far as placement and after care. Super happy and it looks better than I could have hoped for.

Savage Tattoo is awesome from start to finish!! I went in for the consultation and was matched up with Louie. He grabbed a paper and just started doodling out the images I had been envisioning in my head. He listened to every detail and was sure to incorporate it all so seamlessly. Fast forward a couple weeks and I was taking the 6 hour challenge to knock it out in one go. Not only did Louie totally knock it out of the park with my tattoo but he made the long session so easy! Everyone was so awesome in the shop too! By the end of the long day, I felt like I was part of the shop family! I’ll be going back for sure and I will totally recommend all of them to my friends and family!

Dax communicated with me consistently from the beginning. By the time I came to the shop, he had all of my ideas we discussed over the weeks leading up to our appointment and his own all laid out. He developed something I was excited about right in front of me. I went in hesitant, unsure if the cost difference between the shop I used back in Texas and here was going to be worth it. I left the shop feeling like I underpaid. The reaction I get from people about my piece from Dax at Savage Tattoo is so different from my other tattoos. The quality difference is so vast between what I was used to and what Dax delivered, I now feel some urgency to get back into this shop to have my previous tattoos redone. My old tattoos dont match! Im a walking meme for discount tattoos vs. premium art. I felt like at Savage I didnt go to a tattoo artist, I went to an artist who uses tattoos as one venue of expression. They delivered.

I’ve been hesitant about getting a tattoo in Utah but I saw work from savage on someone at work and decided to give them a shop. I walked in and was seen a few days later. Received a very reasonable quote (200) for a slighter larger than palm colored tattoo attached to an existing tattoo. Chado was my artist and he was great even touched up that tattoo it was connecting too for free and came in early to do my tattoo since I had a full schedule. The tattoo is for my parents who passed and even though they weren’t fans of tattoos I know they would have liked this one. Thanks to everyone at savage!

Louie took my pics during our consult and just ran with them, creating something unique. When I went in today for my appointment they werent quite what I was thinking so we worked together and Im beyond ecstatic with the results. The other artists there were funny and kind, super chill atmosphere, and of course amazing work. Will for sure be back!!

I contacted Savage Tattoo for a free consultation they had got back to be on June 30th asking what I would like to get. I replied and gave them a full description and reference photos. Its now July 17th and have not heard a single thing back on an appointment or anything. I was the last person to touch bases between the artist.Chado reach out to me and made sure I was taken care of when things didnt get taken care of fast enough. He made up for the lack of contact in fast timing and made sure to make it right. I appreciate the effort he put into making sure my husband and I were taken care of. Made you feel comfortable, talked with you through out the tattoo process and was very informational on the after care. I highly recommend coming to savage to get what your looking for in a tattoo.

I have got to say I would recommend this shop to anybody, but if you are looking for some phenomenal color work a great experience and someone whos willing to make sure the tattoo is exactly what you want oh, you need to see Colin.I have been to several other shops before here and nobody quite captured the visual I wanted nor were they as willing to alter their final piece to fit exactly what I wanted. When I first seen the artwork I was pretty skeptical I wasnt quite sure it could be done as well as the concept was. But after 14 hours of continuous work calling made my tattoo more than I could have imagined and ask for

Very disappointed. Required a $100 deposit for my tattoo and appointment .My artist moved to another studio. When I requested my deposit back from Savage, I was denied . Beware, dishonest business. I didn’t even step foot into the studio ! I had to put a star just to get on to give my review. Thieves

If you’re in Northern Utah and looking for an artist, I highly recommend checking out Colin’s work! I initially found the ship on Instagram and sent them an idea for a portrait of my German Shepherd on my forearm and was paired with Colin and honestly, he knocked it out of the park! The colors are beautiful, it looks just like my girl and I get so many compliments on it! I can’t wait to work on more pieces in the future!

I went and got some knuckle tattoos by klozr, turned out good was open to what I wanted also come to me with an idea of his font style. Was an awesome idea just kot what I had set in my mind but was fully willing to go with my idea and free hand the template on my knuckles. Cool guy good conversation Id recommend. As hand tattoos are more then likely going to need a touch up as I know well and he does also.he takes pride in his art and the presentation of it. See ya soon for the touch up man !

I originally went in wanting a small tattoo on my forearm. I got an appointment with Chado and he was great, he told me that he could do it pretty quick and that hed have enough time to do a 2nd small tattoo if I wanted. Both tattoos came out great and Chado was awesome. When he was done and put the saniderm on my new tattoos, he said that I could come back to the shop and get new wraps and that any employee would do it.I went back on the recommended day and only one artist was there and he was tattooing someone else. I asked for new wraps and he sighed and told the other customer to hold on a sec. We went to the back of the room and he started saying Im sorry Im in a bad mood but I told my supervisor I wasnt going to do this anymore for other peoples customers. And then The other artists here are so unorganized and think they can do this. I told them in the last staff meeting that I wasnt going to do this for their customers but here I am.It was so awkward. I felt like I was causing problems even though it was recommended I come back that day and the other employee said it wasnt my fault. I get that staff isnt always happy, but I dont need to be brought into the work drama.At first I thought this place was good, but my second visit just made me feel too awkward about returning. Ive told others of my experience that the artists are not bad but follow up may not be as pleasant.

Klozr was simply wonderful. He created an amazing design for my fiance and I and was really gentle. Not a heavy hand whatsoever. He carried great conversation yet very professional. I absolutely enjoyed my experience at Savage. Will be going back for sure.

I went to Colin with half of an idea of what I wanted. I told him I wanted to get some of the things that I’m a fan of. He took on of my favorite books (Salem’s lot) and he ran away with it. I couldn’t have asked for a better artist to immortalize my fandoms on me. We have one or two more sessions to go to finish the half sleeve and I can’t wait for those appointments. The vibe in the shop is welcoming and they really listen to you when you have your consultation. 10-10 would recommend. If you want realism Colin is your guy.

Took me in right away with no appointment. Had initials done for my deceased boyfriend and 2 of our deceased dogs, myself and my remaining dog with the years we were all together. Klozr did a terrific job. Highly recommend.

I got my first ever tattoo from Klozr here. Not only is my tattoo absolutely stunning and perfect, I enjoyed the process every step of the way. From my consultation through the healing process, everything was done with a great deal of care and attention to detail. I live in Salt Lake and had to drive up three separate times to the shop but Id do it again for the quality tattoo and customer service I was given here. Everyone at this shop takes a great deal of pride in the work they do and it shows. Klozr wouldnt settle for anything less than absolute perfection and its evidenced in the tattoo. It is something I will forever wear with a great deal of pride. I cant wait to see what the future holds for me in the future tattoos I will get here.

This please is outstanding. From the second I walked in I felt welcome they set you up with the perfect artist if you dont already have one in mind. I had Chado finish the color on a tattoo that was already outlined. He did an outstanding job! He also has gone above and beyond with the care and touch ups to make sure it all looks amazing when fully healed up. Also all the other artist there are amazing and friendly. If your looking for a good shop I suggest Savage and I personally will be going back to get more work.

Chado was AMAZING to work with from start to finish. He was professional but also down to earth and easy to talk to. He took my idea and created something spectacular that I LOVE. I’ll definitely be going back

The experience at Savage Tattoo was the absolute best tattoo experience Ive had. The shop was clean everyone was friendly and my piece that Ive wanted for over three years turned out better than I couldve imagined. This place is awesome. Walked in and set up a consultation super easy (and free!). Gave them a general idea and was matched up with Colin. Colin is hands down the man! He hit me up before with his design. Communication was excellent. Wasnt feeling the first design and I could really tell Colin wanted me to love it. He tweaked it and was open to my ideas and super helpful with figuring it out. At the end of the day I LOVE MY TATTOO. Got a badass screech owl that ive shown off every second since the session. 10/10 would recommend Colin, chill as f*** and made the process easy and a blast!

Had a session with Chado and he did a phenomenal job! Gave him a design and he took it and threw a bit of himself into the mix, the end result was something I could not have expected more out of. Klozr did my first tattoo. I knew what I wanted, but didnt know exactly what it should look like. He drew a template based on what I wanted that looked amazing. They use this saniderm stuff to wrap the tattoo after its done, which made the post care very easy. Overall, I was really impressed. Thanks!

Klozr has been my favorite artist to work with so far . He keeps a very clean work station, everything he used was brand new, even at a cost to him, this is a huge plus . His attention to detail was great, and if I seen something I didn’t like, he was quick to fix it with no issues ! He doesn’t make you feel rushed, or anxious. It started off as a journey to completing my dream tattoo. At first I was matched with the wrong artist, but after seeing what I wanted done I was corrected to the proper guy. I love that Savage Tattoo does this as they take the time to truly match you with the style youre looking for rather than make $ by booking you with just whoever.Chado was amazing!! Super awesome dude that brought my vision to life even better than I had imagined! I was so worried with the placements on my sleeve but he made it blend together beautifully. The entire crew was very welcoming and fun to be around. Christian, the manager was super nice and cool to talk with.This is definitely the place to go if you want something unique and customized to you. I definitely will be coming back ! Klozar did my very first tattoo. I wanted my kids names, but wanted to be a unique text for each of their names. I met with Klozar and he explained the whole process and made me comfortable with the whole process! I will definitely be going back to savage for all my tattoo needs!
