This was our first time here and we had a blast! There were 8 in our group (the max number for the room). We did the supervillain room with Juliana as our host. The room was very entertaining with a lot of puzzles to be solved. We were glad we had so many people so that we could be working on several puzzles at a time. The staff was good about giving us clues when we were struggling. We made it out with just a couple minutes to spare! I would definitely go back and try their other rooms.

We had a lot of fun here at Time Trap. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was fun. We did the super hero themed room. Ive heard it wasnt as intricate as other escape rooms, but this was my first experience so I dont know. It was still a lot of fun and a decent challenge. At the very least it was a good beginner room and prep for the next escape room.

Dont go during the pandemic or for a fun family experience. We booked our four family members and had another party of four join us without our knowledge. The room was way too small for social distancing and we had to pass objects around. Horribly unsafe and awkward trying to work with people we didnt know.

We did the Egyptian room which was soooo much fun! We were 20 minutes late for our appointment, and luckily the lady t the front let us come in cause there wasnt any other bookings for that room thats afternoon. Puzzles were engaging and difficult. We really enjoyed it! Well definitely come back!!

Had a bomb time at this escape room!We have been to multiple escape rooms in different cities in different states, and this little escape room at the base of the Ogden mountains has proven itself and stands out among most escape rooms out there.This is a fun little place to take a group of friends or family and put yourselves to the test!The rooms are challenging and creative, and specifically one room stands out with a twist we never saw coming!Do yourself a favor and give this place a go!

Super fun experience! We did the Dungeon escape room and it was difficult yet very possible. The attention to detail and types of puzzles were very intriguing and fun. Would definitely recommend if you can get a good group of family or friends to work with.

I would give this a 3.9 the staff is great the price is great but the rooms are small. They pack in as much as they can but are limited with the size. But please support them because hopefully they will reinvest and build a larger facility in the future.

Completed the medieval room in 54 min. We had 5 people and 5-6 is perfect for this room. 8 may be to many at the end when you only have one clue to work with at a time. Creative challenges, we had a great time!

Although we didnt escape. It was great fun that our kids aged 9-13 could enjoy with us! We did the Supervillain room and it was themed well! Perfect amount of hints and interaction with the host! We have done 4 escape rooms in the area and this one has been our favorite to date!

We went as a group of 4 and played the Supervillian Takedown. We loved the setup of the room and the cleanliness of the facilities outside the escape room. The staff was very professional, kind, and informative. Nobody else was with us, so we found a small group of 4 to be excellent for solving the puzzles. The clues, setup, puzzles, locks, riddles, and objects of the story were well thought out and made for a great escape! I believe Eric was our host and did a fantastic job guiding us.

Fun. Detailed set-ups. The puzzles were difficult but not impossible. I have done two of the rooms. One we failed and the other we completed. Make sure to bring a diverse group so that everyone can play to their strengths in solving the puzzles.

This is a fun escape room venue. Great for families or groups. The rooms are fun and the staff is kind and helps you get into the spirit of the game.

Did the Supervillian room for graduation and had fun! Best hour spent in while! Will try and complete the other rooms now! Set up was nice, made you think. I am so glad I did it!

So much fun! We did the Super Villain room; it was very well put together. We really had a good time. The clues made sense and it was not frustrating like some of the other escape rooms we have done. I would recommend trying it!

Very awesome!! The staff was quirky and goofy but they made it so fun! I did the Super Villain one, which is the easier of the two, with my wife, sister, and brother in law. We did it with 3 or 4 minutes left with a total of 1 hour to complete. I would recommend it to anyone! Awesome place and an awesome time! You definitely wont regret it!

I would say this was a mediocre experience. My hubby and I have recently started doing escape rooms, and have visited 3 other venues. For this one- it just didnt feel polished, or like the story was executed in a believable way.The waiting room didnt have enough space / seating ... the Time Trap room door didnt close all the way and wasnt locked - and you could hear the employees on the other side (which kinda minimized the story / experience). The employee that told the story to us before hand did it in a rote / overpracticed/ trying-to-rush-through it way that really took away the magic / fun of these rooms. There was no element of theater or excitement to it really.They never asked us to put our phones away, or had a locker system for our personal supplies (purse wallet etc). and it was unclear if there was a 1 lock: clue ratio (most places will tell you before hand) - and didnt have a place to put finished clues.The clues and the puzzles were well thought out- but the furnishing in the room seemed frail/ worn/ and not exactly clean. It doesnt feel believable. And a few times during the experience I thought the room was just dusty/ grimey/ too small for the 5 of us. For example- (without giving away clues) one of the color grids / word grids the color on a few squares, and symbols on the rocks were so worn away that it was really hard to see. Lighting was also an issue.Overall- the experience was just okay but if we are paying $130+ for a family activity I would like to feel like the story is real (even for an hour) - and that the details were a little more done.We will be doing escape rooms again- but probably not at this location.

This place was crazy difficult! We did the superhero room and there were things you’d have to be a D&D wizard to understand! We didn’t make it out of the room, there are better more well thought out places not too far from this one I would rather do.

Great Family Fun. We did the new Egyptian Themed Trap and it was a blast. We had 2 adults, 2 kids 12 years old, one 11 years old, and we even had our little 7 year old with us. They all had a lot of fun, even the younger one. It was engaging, and harder than I thought it would be. I would prefer to have more time and less hints given to us by the owners. I think an hour and half would be more appropriate. But that is my own opinion. Other than that, I felt it was money well spent.

This was a lot of fun, just a little too pricey. A price and scenario adjustment would be nice for smaller groups of 2-4. This business is affordable if around 8 people play and chip in. Themes and clues get a 10 out of 10. Really fun group date idea.

Four of us went to try out this new experience, and only one of us had ever done an escape room before. All four of us had a blast! The puzzles and interaction were lots of fun and challenging without being frustrating. We cant wait for the next room to open up so we can challenge ourselves again!

This was my first experience in an escape room, and it was a great one! I felt like the puzzles werent extremely difficult while also not being too easy, making it just the right amount of difficulty to keep it fun and keep us going. The atmosphere was very well set, and the theme was well done.I really dont have any constructive criticism, I felt like they did an outstanding job with the entire experience!

Super fun and challenging! Theyve done a great job thinking the games through, setting everything up and keeping your mind engaged. Be sure to communicate your findings with everyone, especially if you have a big group. We will definitely go back to try the others.

We went with a group of 8 and had a great time. We are a group of friends that like to go out for dinner and fun and this was something completely different. It was a great way to have an interactive evening but also experience something completely new. It also spawned conversations of activities that we would like to do that are somewhat related (i.e. mystery dinner parties etc).We were glad we did this and Time Trap was a fun place to start.

Im from California and have done escape rooms in other states - this escape room was par with my other experiences. Twists, turns, challenges, and a fun theme and story line. It was challenging for me but also accessible for my novice parents and siblings ages 55, 52, 25, and 21. Definitely a great mixer for lots of different personalities. Glad to see that this has finally come to Ogden.

It was okay. A really small room with a confusing flow of clues. Some of the clues are hard- not the fun challenge I expected.

As a family, 8 of us experienced the time trap rooms ages from 12-48. We have now done both the Super Hero, and the Egyptian experience. Staff was funny, friendly and made the experience even more fun. There was a wide variety of puzzles and clues that made the night extremely fun. I would strongly recommend!!

Fun group activity. This was something different and new from the usual Saturday night dinner and movie. I wasnt much help with the puzzles, but I was still a useful team member for reasons I cant disclose without spoiling some of the fun. I couldnt sleep afterwards because I kept trying to figure out variations of Time Traps puzzles in my head. Id recommend to my friends and family.

7 years of great service even after Johnstun was bought out. Pinnacle has been great. We still drive from the west side of Roy out to Ogden when needed.

Very creative escape rooms! Loads of fun! And cheaper than others. Well worth it! Well recommend to anyone who likes solving puzzles and creativity.

These guys were way fun! I loved the superhero escape room. It was really well done with a lot of cool decoration and theme to the room. Highly recommended. We used a Groupon so it was definitely worth our money, but Im sure full price would be worth it too.

Time Trap is an awesome experience! The owners are great, and the room was so much fun. Challenging, great atmosphere, and so much fun. If you have never tried an escape room before, or are an old pro, you have to get into this place ASAP. Cant wait for our next trip with friends!

I went to time trap with a group of girl friends, we arrived 15 minutes early to receive instructions before going into the room. We had so much fun solving puzzles, clues, lock combinations, riddles and more. It helps if you talk through everything out loud so the employees can give you specific hints if you are stuck on something for too long. Cant wait to go back again!

This was so much fun!! I wish I would have brought a group of friends though instead of being paired up with a group of strangers, it was a super fun experience though and I want to do another one.

My wife & I failed to solve the egyptian room, but had a great time. The staff are great & very helpful, if you need some direction. However, they let you work through everything. I think a small group of 4-6 would be fun & you could split up to solve different puzzles & clues, but more than that would be very crowded, as room is small. We are going to take our boys back to try the super villain room. Im thinkin 8-10 yr old would be youngest i would take.
