The first movie I saw here was Shrek. It was a Thursday night 7:20 pm, movie and my friend and I were the only two in the theater.It’s a mom and pop theater, where everybody knows your name.Over the last few years, they’ve upgraded the sound systems in all the theaters, replaced all the chairs, are using digital cameras, expanded and remodeled the restrooms, added a new box office, built a new concession stand and added a new movie screen (6 screens total now,)Ticket prices are lower than most theaters, plus the movies are first run movies.Also, the concession prices are lower than most theaters, while offering a bigger selection. Plus, they offer beer, wine, and other food and drink itemsMost movies are selected to draw families with young children or movies for families, friends and/or seniors. Therefore, I’ve not seen any gang affiliations or teens running around disrupting things.Plus, the staff and owners are friendly. Years ago, the owners mother drove me to an auto parts store when my battery died in their parking lot.This is the Best theater in central Florida!

Always love this theatre. Yes its smaller, yes its a little older compared to some of the other theatres in the are. But you can NOT beat the prices!! Plus the staff is very friendly. And lets not forget... they also serve reasonably priced adult beverages which is a plus!!

I went to see Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and I have mixed emotions about this theater. I think it’s great that a theater shows classics consistently and it’s a smaller theater. However I see this as a take ur kids to the movies sort of place. I was greeted with chatter and people going in and out throughout the film. The popcorn was also cold and they don’t offer refills on the drinks which was a shame since my drink was 50% ice. I will becoming back if another movie I wish to see on a big screen plays and will alter this review if I have a better experience. But so far I wouldn’t recommend this place. Only reason this gets two stars is because of the low cost and great films.Edit: I forgot that people just took their masks off and started coughing freely. Felt like leaving

Always enjoy getting a fruit & cheese platter while my sweetheart gets a burger & fries. You can order sliced pizza, nachoes, sandwiches or hotdogs!

West Orange Cinema and their staff are awesome. Love the app also. Very clean facilities, we love coming to this theater.

I have worked at this theater in the past and it is full of great people and is a good time! The owners are great but the best of all was the manager Chantel.

West Orange 5 is always a pleasant experience for my family, great staff, clean theaters and reasonably priced. See movies the way they should be seen, on a big screen, and support a great local business. Afterwards go get ice cream at the creamery across the parking lot =)

Affordable concessions and movie prices. The cheese fries are an absolute must-have when we go. Bonus that they are locally owned and operated.

I have been going to the movies there for as long as I can remember. I moved here 36 years ago to this area. They are a great mom and pop business with great cheese/apples/grapes/crackers tray to eat plus good sandwiches and other stuff that isn’t just junk food although I like that too.

Im going to say it. In this review Im a biased son of a gun. And how can I not be, Ive been going to this place since I was a kid. Sure, its not a crazy upscale theater. Yeah the theater itself isnt that big. Do I care? No. This place is near my house, has inexpensive tickets, reminds me of when I was a kid, and has great staff who are super nice. Its also not usually that crowded (note that I dont live in Florida any more so this is subject to change). You get what you pay for here. The screens are good and the sound is nice. Nothing to complain here.

Love this little family started place its definitely worth checking out. I could not believe the prices of tickets and the constion stand prices. Make sure you come early there are no options to pick your seats ahead of time. Seats are comfortable but dont recline however they do have cup holders in them. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Not bad for an old theater. The seats were office chairs but still comfortable. We went to a matinee, price was really inexpensive, a huge plus. Family owned local business. Buy local and support these guys. We will definitely go again.

The West orange 5 is a great local movie theater. Its away from all of the hustle and bustle of Disney and universal. The movie theater has amazing low prices and the top box office hits. Great food not just popcorn and soda but burgers, nachos, cheese fries(a must for me), cheese platters, literally an amazing tuna sandwich......I know but thank me later! Plus the size of beer you can get is fantastic...four beers there would be the price of one at Disney or universal! You will wanna get there early as being a local movie theater its not as big so it can get busy. But if your looking for a great place to watch a movie and get away from all the tourists places this is the place to go!!

Been going to this community icon since I was a kid. Best mom and pop theater around. My first date ever (which was actually with my husband and even chaperoned by his father) was at this theater. These types of small, family-owned businesses are what make memories. Their preservation is important to our fabric. If for no other reason, make WO-5 your next choice for a movie.

This throwback theater was so cool out was like stepping out of a time machine into the 80s. Not only that, across the parking lot is an old time ice cream shop and a comic book store. I felt like I needed to find a pay phone and borrow a quarter so I could call my mom to come pick me up. Really great quality theater with a nostalgic feel.

We have been going to this small / quaint theatre for many years. There is seating like tables and chairs, with small selection food service. We really enjoy the quaint small town feeling, not like a big theatre. Also they always have a great movie selection!

Movie ticket prices are unmatched. All the staff is very knowledgeable and nice. Food is pricey, but hey, its a movie theater! The venue isnt some huge corporate run theater. When you walk in you can see the owners favorite movie posters framed throughout the halls. Theres 6 theaters, and not all are the same setup or size. I would definitely make it a weekly or monthly visit.

This theater is fantastic. It is well worth a drive to see a movie here for several reasons. First off, the prices are unbeatable. Youd think with low prices that the place would be filthy and run down. Nope. The staff is very friendly, the place is clean, and even the food is good. They have beers, burgers, etc.You can actually take a family here and have the same movie experience that I had growing up during the 80s, which was the peak of the movie theater business. Studios made money, the theaters made money, and the consumer didnt have to sell a kidney to take their family.Keep it up West Orange 5!You are awesome

I love this place first run movies in a cinema that is not your typical chain walk in chain. Concession stand sells more then usual items to include draft beer and pizzas. Tables and reclining chairs in viewing area.

They are grest! And you can order food and eat in the theater...and the food is really good...lol...prices are reasonable and its very clean! We enjoy going there and then having ice cream at the little parlor across the parking lot...alwsys a great time!

When I come here it is always such a pleasure! The theaters are always clean and the ones working it are always so nice! Love my little home theater! So much better then the BIG theaters! Love supporting local!

A small town theater with small town prices. Sure if you want a bigger screen you could always head down to West Oaks AMC. But the theater is clean, the snacks are standards fair. The main attraction is how competitive the pricing is compared to the other theaters in the area.

The West Orange Theater is a good choice for an inexpensive option for viewing a movie. The cost for two midafternoon movie tickets, large popcorn with butter and large soda was probably half the cost of any of the Corperate run theaters. The staff were friendly, bathrooms clean. We were in theater 5, and could here the sound from theater 4 several times during the showing.

It is definitely a mom and pop movie theater. Its nice to go to something smaller and more personal. The screens are obviously not like the size of the chain movie theaters but it was a cute cozy theater.service was great, have no complaints.

Its an old, beat up theater. Its been there for as long as I can remember. The prices are a value compared to the new theaters in the area. They are well staffed and everyone is friendly and attentive. A family of four can be entertained, eat and not break the bank. The food is great and you should consume many ice-cold 32oz beers- sit on the aisle ;)

I have been going to this movie theater since a child when they only played super old movies. This is a neighborhood staple for anyone who has grew up in the Winter Garden area. I absolutely love the changes made to this place and will never go anywhere else to catch a movie if I dont have to.

Went there on a Saturday night. It was busy. Getting in and out of the parking lot was a little challenging. The theater itself was nice, clean. Bigger than I expected. Good movie quality sound and screen wise. There are little tables towards the front of the theater for food which was neat. The concessions were cheaper than most places, and very good. Tickets were decently priced too. Overall not a mind-blowing fancy theater, but a nice cheaper one with no real cons to mention. Would definitely recommend.

I went with friends for the first time and it was relatively cheap compared to other theaters. Last showings typically around 10pm. The place is small but has somewhat roomy seats and tables. Friendly staff.

We love having a small town theater nearby. Some may like driving out to Disney or Universal to catch a flick in a monster theater. For us? Its not worth fighting all of that traffic, parking, congestion and prices. I love being able to park my car next to the building Im going to watch a movie in. Plenty comfy and the food is fine. Movies look and sound great, so not sure why anyone would want all of the hassle of a theater in a super crowded area with West Orange 5 is right here in our little town.

Ive been to West Orange 5 many times and its a great place to take family for a movie. Their ticket and concession prices are significantly less than major multiplexes which more than makes up for less amenities. Its still the same first-run movies as down the road. Its smaller and has some great semi-private viewing rooms. Also, seems like less previews than other theaters. They serve beer and the fries are excellent.

This theater is definitely budget friendly. I took my son to see a movie here on a Sunday afternoon and they were pretty packed but the concession staff moved quickly to get the line cleared and eventhough we have to sit in the front I was still able to enjoy the movie. Im not a big fan of the office chairs they use for seating. Cool idea and they are mounted to the floor but Im not comfortable leaning back in them because I feel like I might tip over lol (Im a full figure woman). However there was a guy sitting just a few chairs over and he was completely comfortable leaning way back and he was bigger than me so Im sure they are safe, I just felt uneasy. Other than that I have no complaints.

This theater is a great value! Its a small town theater, independently owned, that offers a cozy viewing experience for the newest big movies. The concession options are also fairly expansive for such a small complex. Highly recommended.

This feels like the old-school theaters I went to growing up. Nice staff on our visit. Ive heard others comment about better prices but I didnt find them to be that impressive. Still lower than the crazy prices at the big name theaters as far as concessions, but I would not say its a great discount. Id go here again if its a movie Im not crazy about, but the small screens and old style theaters are just not my style if Im spending money at a theater. Not unless it is enough savings to make it worth it and I dont think this is enough savings.

This theater is close to my house. I think I like that the chairs I sit in are like office chairs, that a President would have. They have tables in front area section for you to put your ordered food and drinks. There is a stage in front of screen so you can sit on first row and still see perfectly. When movie goes on, it gets LOUD, which I Love. Price is very decent. They play recent movies. It feels very homey too.

Easy to see top rated movies without parking hassle. Prices are moderate. There is a variety of seats. I like the table area with swivel task chairs (although the task chairs are not so comfortable for a few hours, due to their heavy usage in a theatre.- suggest a 24/7 heavy duty task chair. )

I love this theater. It is Cozy and the price is right. You can eat while watching your favorite movie. This is my theater from now on.

My favorite theater in the area. Always quiet, plenty of parking, cheap prices. Its a no frills movie theater. If you are simply looking for a seat and a screen, then look no further. People who may like theaters with more advanced settings or amenities will not like it here. For myself, this is a great relaxing theater.
