I had visited Insight Oceanside in March for a new tattoo and had the best experience! The place is very clean and the staff is super professional & friendly. It was my first tattoo in many years and I look forward to returning to Insight Oceanside for the next one!

Their service was magnificent! There was an issue with my original artist but they still made it happen and at an earlier time. I got most of my tattoos here at Insight Oceanside.

Came here from out of town for a mother daughter tattoo. We were so impressed with the beautiful and clean atmosphere. Jules was our artist and we could not of been happier. She has an amazing energy and she is such a talented artist. Super happy we walked into this place.

This place has the worst tattoo artist. They do not understand what it means to have clean lines in A tattoo!!!! My husband and I went in there to get matching tattoos is turned out OK. Mine doesn’t even look like there is a word on my arm it looks like a black out spot

I dont foresee wanting to take the time or spending the money to remove a tattoo. For me its a permanent . And I think a tattoo should be a one-of-a-kind creation. If that makes me old school Ill own that.That rules out photocopy artists, dirty shops, and employees that wont take the time to talk about what you want.Insight is all about the customer. One step in the front door~its clean, the front desk person said hello, theres even a place to sit down while you wait. The people who work there have respect~for you and their art. Theyre all talented enough to take your concept or original art and create, When finished youll have mad respect for your artist and an awesome return new tattoo.PS, I didnt see a photocopier either

-Anton: An amazing artist whos tattooed myself and those close to me. The staff here is very customer service oriented. The pricing is competitive; however, think about a dollar store price or a department store price and the quality you get for your money. I will never put a permanent mark on my body at dollar store prices. You get what you pay for and Im happy to pay a little more for the outstanding quality and service I get at Insight.

Decent tattoo. Wasn’t as detailed as the picture I brought in. Customer service was nothing special, not very attentive or engaging. Artist was okay, kinda feel like he was rushing through it and upon completion just showed me out. I’m happy with my tattoo but wish the experience was funner and accommodating. It’s a tattoo that’s gonna stay on me forever not a haircut. I just hope they do realize that it’s a privilege to let people do tattoo work on them and very rarely the other way around. And yes it was overpriced.

Love this place. Did a spontaneous walk in on a weekday afternoon and was helped immediately. I cant really speak for other artists I guess but I had Crystal and she was great. Described to her what I wanted and she gave me advice on styles, size, and positioning and got right to work. They look amazing, way better than I even expected. The quality and expertise of the linework and shading truly shows. The experience itself was hardly painful and we mostly shared funny stories and joked the whole time. Im on day 3 and healing up nicely with very minimal pain (significantly less than my other tattoos from different shops). On top of that I got two decent sized and detailed tattoos at the same time on each arm and only paid $150 for both (was easily expecting well over $200 based on some other reviews on here). Definitely would recommend if youre in Oceanside, Id love to get more here someday in the future!

I have gotten all my tattoos here. Every time I go in, the staff are always very professional and accommodating. The artists are ask very talented and willing to work with you to create exactly what you want.

Stood up front for ten minutes, the receptionist ignored me and went on a break. The artist that came up front didnt acknowledge me which is fine thats not his job, but come on this unacceptable. Ive had work done here before but I will not be coming back now

I have received all of my work from Nate. I have 8 total and plan to do more and will go nowhere else. Nate is talented and does extremely clean work. I constantly get asked who has done my work and how it looks so clean.To the guy who is complaining about price, maybe be willing to pay people for their talent. I highly doubt a tatt the size of your thumb was that much. That is just false claim. I have 5 a little bigger and paid no where near that.

Horrible customer service ever!!!!The artist laughed of what I was going to get. Talk about rude people!!! If Im a paying customer you should appreciate that. And way over priced from something that is as small as a dime. No thanks! I will take my service somewhere else.

This place gets zero stars lady at the front desk was rude and she ignores you they’re way overpriced it was ridiculous my thigh piece was $160 the rose I wanted with the lettering “mom” smaller than my palm was $200!! Are you kidding me! Young devils beware

Devil dogs, really dont go to the first place or the closest place you see.These folks are over pricing tattoos to Marines, especially Marines. Passed on this place, knowing other places made better work for the same price they offered.So do your homework first

Horrible experience. Cyristal is rude nobody go with her. Went in to get a small tattoo and the kid at the desk doesnt know what hes doing he told me Its $50 I said $50 OK! (Repeated it) and when he goes to charge me after Ive been sitting for 30 min he tells me its $150. Im like thats not what you said and so on Cyristal comes out I explain to her the situation she didnt even apologize and told me I was getting a good deal with an attitude I said cant I think about it for a second and she turn her head and rolls her eyes even with that I ended up saying ok Ill just do it and turns out within that minute I took thinking shes already helping someone else then she said I would have to wait another hour. Well sorry but not sorry you just lost a customer and I will def tell my friends and everyone I know

Was told it would be a 45 minute wait and it was two hours and then the tattoo artists was extremely rude and refused to do anything like what I wanted and told me he did not have all night to draw something up and told me to draw it up myself.
