A fun place to take your children and young adults! Pleanty of fun games, air hockey, basketball, skee ball for 10 cents! What, yes 10 cents a game !!!! WOW! Plenty of hand sanitizing stations throughout the shop, very enjoyable!
Great family fun! The only place I know where you can still play skeeball for a dime. In fact, you get 11 games for a dollar. Pinball is still a quarter and there are many to choose from. By far, the best deal on the boardwalk (any boardwalk for that matter). Games are well maintained, place is clean and staff is helpful. Highly, highly recommend!
Fun place. Really good mix of old and new games. Staff helpful, for the most part. Just hit in there tho!!
Ive been there before! In fact, there are only 10 cents on Skee Ball. The rest of the games took quarters. Pinball machines took 25 cents, the pool table costs $2.00 which is 8 quarters per play. Great arcade place! My favorite!
Hot inside but a lot to do inside, have 10 cent skee ball. Little rides in the front had trouble with quarters going into slot, one little ride was very short riding when it was 4 quarters, the other ones were longer riding for 4 quarters. The staff person we talked to about the little rides not working and asked if we put enough money in was very rude. Had pinball machines which I love and reasonable to play and other games.
This is a small arcade, clearly marked Jillys. My wife and I went inside, walked around for 5 minutes and left because it was rather small. We drove here specifically to go this arcade and left very disappointed. Then someone working for Jillys decided to try to insult my intelligence by claiming I reviewed the wrong place. One star all around. If you want a good arcade, head to Ocean City, MD. NOT NEW JERSEY.
Wide variety of pinball machines that were really fun aswell as skee ball that is 10 cents a game.
This arcade is awesome. The selection of pinball machines for only $0.25 for three plays is great. The other modern games are over priced in my opinion but I didnt come back for those.
Ski ball $1, and you get a lot of games, plus rewards over 270. Clean, fun
Analog photo booth right in front! Still takes great photos and was not too pricey. Hand sanitizer available upon entry.
ALWAYS a fun time. Where else can you play Sleep Ball for a dime!!!!!! Been coming for years and years!
Very fun time with the kids, spent several hours there Awesome time.
Wish they put as much money into maintaining their pinball tables as they did into the CG pinball ads they show in their own arcade. Having the most pinball tables and cheapest cost to play doesnt mean much if they arent fully functional. Every table I played that was more than a couple years old had fundamental issues and they all persisted for at least five days.
Good arcade but on the speedball I hit 30 40 and 50 but none of thenM registered over 4.5
Really cool. Quick arcade stop
The only downside to this arcade is that the change machines are often out of order and it can be hard to find an employee.
It has great games like lanes master, skiball, and nascar
A little too crowded IMO during the covid scenerio. Staff was checking for masks and hand sanitizer was plentiful.Games I played with the kids seemed to be in good working condition
This place is awesome, remember the feeling you got in an arcade? Well this place gives you that feeling again. They have an awesome selection of games at great prices. There is something here for everyone. Bring the kids or just you and the wife. It is great fun for all ages.
Alit of fun and games are still reasonable
One of a few places always open on the Boardwalk noon to about 7pm. Good selection of arcade games, reasonably priced, fun time with family and friends, great break from the winter doldrums. Every time I enjoy our visit, recommended!
Loved the Star Wars battle pod, Space Invaders and Galaga. Halo, Jurassic Park, and air hockey were pretty awesome as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the claw machines always have a winner, and got myself a stuffed hamster. Even had a couple of photo booths for nice memories. Only cons are is its a little tight on spacing and size, but later on at night around 11:00 it clears out. Parents like to let their toddlers sit on games and not play them and just turn the wheel/controls for as long as they want while there is a line, but thats not the arcades fault. Would definitely return!
Can’t beat 10 cent ski ball and they still have time crisis 2 the best one
You can never go wrong with Jillys .. a true arcade unlike other shore towns .
Fun, great staff. Needed more cleaning.
Fun place! Lots of pinball for 25 cents, skeeball for 10 cents!! Good variety of well priced games. Dance Dance Revolution needs a new dance pad, but that is pretty common with those machines. Nice that they even had it! Would definitely for families visiting the boardwalk.
Great place with a good diversity of games. Easily 5 stars if they maintained the pinball machines a bit better.
Steering wheel on Fast and Furious car game sticky and gross
Always have a great time!
Best arcade on the boardwalk. I hesitated to write this review because I don’t want it swarmed. . But they deserve it. They keep the prices right for a family to be able to enjoy a 20-30 minute or more time in there, and it’s enjoyable. We go every time we come down.
I love this arcade. The 10 cent skeeball (11 games for $1) is awesome. Seriously can’t beat that. We also enjoy getting ducks from the one game. Sometimes you can grab 2 at a time! I like how they are open early for those of us who don’t sleep in and want something to do on the boardwalk.
Great place. Fun atmosphere. Cheap games. Only arcade that still has $.10c skeeball.
Ok arcade, several on the boardwalk. I play the games and have fun, then find a cute child and give their parents my tickets. Then I feel
Lots of pinball machines, classic, and new games.
Great rainy day activity and I’m very grateful they’re open year round!I only wish they had a coin operated massage chair for parents
Been coming here for decades and it is still as fun as ever! Now my kids love it too! $0.25 pinball and $0.10 skeeball make for a great night!
All my favorite games
So much fun
Love this place been going since I was a kid open year-round
It was really fun and there are a lot of things to do!
Been coming here year-round forever. Best spot for pinball!
Is open all year even when its freezing and the whole rest of the boardwalk is closed, its open and people come! They have an awesome Rod hockey game and several other very old fashioned contraptions my inner child still loves... The funky photo booth, and the Machine that squashes your coin and and then bosses it with a design!Who else remembers loving those?!
Always a good time. Love to see the happiness on my kids faces. Great place to hang out and just enjoy yourself.
Awesome playing sleep ball for 10 cents a game.
Love it! Great for kids and very nostalgic for adults
Great arcade! Like other reviews say, the pinball for $0.25 cant be beat. Also, the skeeball is really cheap, and really fun. I do also enjoy their mix of newer games along with the older, more classic games. Cant wait to return here this summer!
You cant beat 10¢ skeeball!!
Arcade Paul runs the place and extended a free first game because we remembered him from prior years. Great game choices and our 6 year old grandson has a great time every year.
A fun place to play a few games of Skeeball! 9 balls for 10 cents. Score 280 or more and win a FREE game.
Oh, man. This is a great place to take the kids, let them play all they want, and not lose your shirt! Clean, great variety of pins, games - vintage as well as new - pool, air hockey, skee ball, they even have the latest NHL Check Hockey.... recommend!!
Been coming here for almost 40 years!
I Absolutely LOVE Jillys arcade! Best arcade on the boards! The staff members are always friendly and willing to help. Lots of cool pinball machines you can play for 25¢, many 2-player games, and lets not forget the famous 10¢ skeeball!Whenever a game has an issue or is broken, Jillys works as quickly as they can to resolve the problem. Last summer 2018 the dance game (DDR) was wearing out. The handles were loose and the foot pads werent responding, I asked them if it would be fixed and they said they will do their best to make it happen. This summer, its like new. Foot pads work excellent and bars are stable. THANK YOU JILLYS!
Its ok and fun but you dont get any tickets to cash in your prize
Jillys is a fun place. Wife & I like skee ball. 11 games for a dollar. One machine stopped working, but the friendly arcade worker got it going. Good time.
Skeeball for a dime. WooHoo
I grew up in my family business literally right next door to Jillys and I cant help but have ultimate respect for how hard they all work to keep their places looking great and always with good products and reasonable prices
This was a fun arcade. all our kids are kind of cheap but this one was a good time. It has everything you want from retro games to modern. They also have photo booths. My favorite part was the whole section in the back that had all pinball games. Im a big fan of Star wars so I stuck to the Star wars pinball machine. I went when it was cold so it wasnt busy at all and a new Star wars game that I havent tried wasnt on. Hoping that over the summer the Star wars arcade game will be working.
Nice, old school arcade. I would have rated it 5 stars, however some of the machines are in need of refurbishment. Especially the pin ball tables as some of the bumpers, etc. arent working properly. It is fun to play the old machines, but only if they work the way they should.
Thanks for the sanitizer and masks!
Lots of fun with great arcade cabinets. Reasonable prices for this arcade. You cant beat 10 cent skeball.
Always a good time. Skeeball only 10 cents a game!
Jiilys is the best
Jillys is my kids favorite arcade. They have great older games like Pac Man and pinball for a quarter that they really love. It is rather tight in there though so wasnt the best when we had a stroller or wagon along.
Awsome arcade with a ton of pinball machines
I go for the pinball. Machines work great considering the age.
Ive been going here since the 80s. Skee Ball, great selection arcade games and pinball. I love that they are open year-round. And they have air hockey. Cant beat it.
The biggest issue I had was in the quality of the controls on the majority of the machines. Guns werent calibrated well on the shooting games, some joysticks were sticking or wouldnt move correctly. I think the worst was the Worlds Biggest Galaga game (which is awesome, by the way) but the controls were not responsive at all.Simply for the act of reaching out to customers though to find out what can be changed for the better, Ill gladly change the rating from 3-stars to 4-stars. Thanks kindly!
A true classic! Love all the pinball machines. Open all year too!
A good, budget arcade. Ten cent skeeball all day, every day. About 12 pinball machines in varying levels of functionality. Good news is that they only cost a quarter each to play. Some of them are in great shape, but they do not do a great job of maintaining the older ones.Every year they get a couple newer games that are in good shape. There are also classics like galaga and Ms. Pacman that only cost 25-50 cents.
Loved it since childhood but its not the same for my teens since they removed Tekken 3. Where is Tekken? Why did you put it in storage and can you find it and bring it back???
Fun arcade with lots of games. We like to play skeeball when we visit. We have a blast in this place.
This is a great arcade and required stop every year.
The best Skee ball in OCNJ !!
Wish they had prizes
We had a great time here.
Ive visited Jillys Arcade for the first time for a birthday and I really dont have any negative remarks . I had a great time, the atmosphere was lifted when I was playing the old vintage space invader arcade game. I had a good time . Great place
I come exclusively for the pinball machines. They have one of the largest public collections in the area, all for 25 cents a play. Even the new ones! However, since the games are played into the ground, there always seems to be something wrong with them, and it’s not always the best experience. Still, at 25¢ it’s really hard to complain. It’s always a nice diversion from the heat and crowds.
Old school arcade, skeet ball and pinball are my favorite.
Staff is always great. Rented bikes also a great experience.
An arcade with great game selection that ISNT a ticket trap?! Inconceivable!
This is how I remember arcades when I was a kid. Growing up in the 80s meant trips to the arcade where video gaming was a social event. You could afford to play, they were fun, and it was a safe environment. Im pleased to report that Jillys fits all of those criteria. They have some newer games in there if thats your thing, but their true charm is the 10 cent skeeball (11 games for $1) and the rows of 25 cent pinball machines! Pinball is hard enough to find but at 25 cents its worth the visit. I wish more arcade operators recognized that having cheaper games would draw more people. Jillys captures everything I love about Ocean City.
Fun for the kids, bring a lot of money
Fun place for the whole family. I had a blast playing air hockey!
24 hr arcade. Fun to play the 10 cent skeeball
Great arcade. They have skee ball machines here for $0.10 a game and you cant beat it! Had to take away a star because they got rid of the metal stamping machine that made a little personalized metal coin.
I love it, i mostly love the ten cent skeeball.
Definitely one of the best arcades around.
The best arcade in ocean city very reasonable prices very clean friendly staff
Grand children love the place
DDR X machine is unplayable - you can’t hear it. Attendant brought us to Jurassic Park - also no audio. Then the Let’s Go Island machine, which had sound you could only hear if you literally put your ear up to the speaker. Which the attendant did herself, in fact. We were then brought to the Buck Hunter machine whose left side was duct taped over and wasn’t working. Attendant didn’t know enough about the game to give any advice on playing with my wife on the right side only. Walking Dead right side sensor is wonky and the reticle freaks out - makes it hard to aim. I can’t imagine all 3 of those machines had identical audio issues so what I’m sure they’re doing is turning down volume on some machines on purpose to cut down on noise. Understandable but extremely difficult to actually enjoy any of the games. Just an awful experience. Compounded by bad lemonade from you guys too. Had to get a refund on a Large size. Diluted lemon taste, with a mouthful of granular sugar when you sipped it. I don’t remember it being like this last year. It’s a uniquely bizarre thing to have been coming here for decades and visit now to see this odd hollowing-out of the spirit that seemed to drive this place in this past. Jilly’s is one of the first places I played DDR, back when you had the SuperNova machine right out front, facing the boardwalk. I used to draw crowds there back in the day. I guess it’s this weird mix of nostalgia and disappointment in the apparent disrepair of a number of the cabinets and the cluelessness (despite their willingness to help) of the staff.I’ll still always have a place in my heart for Jillys arcade and I’m sure my future kids will love it too but as a fan of arcades with a soft spot for this one in my home county - I can’t help but feel I could do way better if it were my arcade. Thanks for reading.
I have been going to this arcade since I was a child and it continues to be the best arcade in Ocean City. My favorite game to play is pinball which is still only $0.25 per game which (to my knowledge) is the cheapest on the boards. If I were to recommend an arcade on the boards. I would only have this one to recommend.
Nice variety of old school and modern games. Great for kids and adults!
No prizes other than the claw machines but the games are reasonable. Skeetball for $.10
