Great place for the kids and adults. Variety of rides good prices. Well maintained and up to date. Food stands and carts are great. Bigger rides than expected on a boardwalk. Will definitely visit again the kids loved it! The blue roller coaster was very fast and the spinning planes was fun. The swings are a simple yet fun ride for all ages. The rides tgat shoot you up and down quick are a bit much for me but again the kids liked them.

Great place for the kids. Generally respectful patrons even when dealing with my son with asbergers. Great staff. A little iffy this past summer with the pandemic, could get crowded. Overall a good place to spend an afternoon or evening on the boards in the summer.

What is not to like about these rides. The staff was keeping COVID-19 safety protocols in mind on most occasions and there was hand sanitizer located throughout the area however some were empty. Tickets are good forever if you are coming back year over year. Kids enjoyed the variety and there are different rides depending on age. We will be back next year.

During this pandemic it was a great place for some much needed fun for my 7 year old. The staff was amazing with how thorough they were cleaning after each ride which put my wife at ease. They had plenty of rides for my little one to go on and satisfy his adventurous appetite. This was a great family night we wont soon forget.

Fun little pier with a good choice of rides for kids. Arcade is fun and the shops especially the coffee stand was awesome. Staff makes sure everyone has there mask on and they keep it clean and offer hand sanitizer stations all over the place which makes you feel good during this pandemic. The family enjoyed it.

Bought my grandson tickets for Easter, we finally got to use them. Pier is so much more then it appears to be. We took the train first so we got to see everything before using up tickets on rides that he didnt care for. After seeing what they had to offer I was upset I did not have another adult with me to watch him so I could enjoy myself on a couple bigger rides.They have rides for every age and level of excitement. Sunset was a bonus in background.

My 6yr old daughter absolutely loved this place! Even the adults had some fun riding and playing games. Our favorite game is their double mario cart racing machines! We return yearly its a must go!

Really nicely kept up, very clean. Also very tight and claustrophobic on a Saturday night. Rides are great, you can tell this place has money. Surprised they dont offer a wristband or something for unlimited rides. Gale Force was amazing, something Ive never experienced before.

This is a very fun amusement park it has alot of fun rides and games to play me and my granddaughters had an amazing time. Very easy to find off the garden state parkway passing thru Somers point to ocean city

Visited here last week on a Thursday night and havent been here since 2017. The place is still very family oriented and has welcoming staff that are always happy to help. Plenty to do with the family and the few new attractions/rides are very thrilling.

Fun for every age. Great employees. Awesome rides. Not expensive.

Family friendly little amusement park. We love this place. It can get a little crowded but its always a fun time for the whole family. Rides for all ages. Tickets never expire, we almost always find some from years past and they are always honored. We love this place.

Great mini golf course. Many holes are setup for instant hole in 1 if you can over come the initial challenge. A lot of fun and challenging. Get there before 6 for savings and use the local coupon books to save another dollar off.

Family fun fruit everyone. Coming here for 30 years and keeps getting better.

What a great collection of rides! This Park manages to pack as many rides as they can into the space they have. Great for families and thrill seekers.

As fun as it was when I was a 10 year old- 45 years ago!! Watching my 24 y/o son take my 7 y/o niece on rides is WAY more fun than it was when I was a kid riding them

Very family oriented. But I noticed they didnt wipe down rides after use. We are in the middle of a pandemic.

Tons of fun. Rides for ages. Friendly,safe and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommended.

There were shortened hours due to lack of staff and to be frank the low attendance during this restrictive (Covid-19 period) probably doesnt warrant extensive hours of operation. Regardless the kiddos had a grand time of it and we look forward to coming back next year, hopefully under better public health circumstances.

Whoa---this Gale Force roller coaster, I have to say as a dad of a teenage GRL (just turned 13), was gnarly ! Its pandemic time and I felt like Playlands Castaway Cove did a decent (good) job of maintaining guidelines, and, yeah, it felt super good to get ourselves out of lockdown for some good ol Jersey Shore cavortin!

In the current times, with Covid 19, the pier did really well trying to keep everyone socially distancing while on rides and in line. Hand sanitizer at every ride entrance/exit. We went on a Saturday evening and it wasnt overly crowded. The only ride we had to wait in a line on was the wavy coaster, and the wait was only 5 minutes because they were cleaning each cart between riders. We have always loved the pier and I think they are handling the Covid 19 situation as best as possible.

This place is absolutely amazing. The rides are new. Every thing is clean and maintained. Gillians Pier is also nice but this place gets an A+ from me. The owners and everyone are nice everyone. At wonderland pier some rides will be shut down during July. Great Job Playland Your Amazing!!

We had a great time on the ferris wheel at the end of the day! We look forward to it every year. Very romantic.

This is our favorite amusement park on the Ocean City board walk. We purchase discounted tickets prior to the season to help save money. There are many rides for young kids and some that will be fun for adults as well.

Been going to Castaway for over 40 years. Gets better every year. Ocean City NJ is the best family vacation place!!!

Rides cleaned off after each child,sanitizer available everywhere..kids loved it!!

Very awesome. My favorite ride was definitely the Happy Swing as they called it.

Would be better without the pointless masks but that is Commissar Murphy.

These are not all the pictures I have btw, but if you havent been to Ocean City you must go. It is a family friendly ocean town, with beautiful beaches and the best boardwalk. It is not a college hangout and its not really for teenagers. It is for adults or mature young adults who want peace and quiet down the shore, and for families.

Castaway Cove is a great amusement park on the Ocean City boardwalk. After a long day at the beach, Castaway Cove is the perfect place to spend the evening. They add new attractions almost yearly and try to keep the atmosphere energetic and fun.

Hey guys and girls, good evening. If you have a family or just a desire to go to a super neat beach, or as the locals call it, the shore, (so cute!) Then this is a place for you! Not only are you guaranteed to have fun but you get to pay taxes for like everything you buy in stores and stuff! If you want to park your car within 315 miles of the ocean, itll cost you know more than maybe your first three kids. Okay, A buddy of mine did have to give up his wife and all four of his kids, but he did get to Park two blocks from the ocean so, come on, pretty sweet deal right?

Rides were closed. But that was do to rain earlier in the day. But super nice place.

We have been coming here with my son since he was born. This is his 7th year now. There has been something for him to explore every year. Love that we can use our tickets every year we come theres no expiration date. Found some tickets from 2015 I used this year! He try something new every year and its one of the many things we look forward to when coming to OC.

During these trying times the staff was very friendly and kept the place clean and a low capacity! I was happy they were opened so the kids could have fun!

Extremely disappointed in the handling of COVID at this location. No rides were wiped down between passengers, social distancing was not enforced, was told on numerous rides to place our masks in a bin, that wasn’t disinfected, or even remotely clean for that matter. There was dirt and fuzz and hair in the bottom of them. Staff had masks under their noses, and not once, again, did I see a thing disinfected. Bathrooms were disgusting and not maintained.

Great place for kids!!! Tickets for rides are very inexpensive!!

We were disappointed to find out that they changed one of my kids favorite rides, the Double Shot. It was replaced with an exact copy however the ride function is slow and no longer gives the thrill it used to. We wont waist our tickets on that one any more. Tickets are pricey especially with 2 kids able to go on all the rides. Kids love it though. Gives us something to do at night while vacationing in Ocean City.

You must drink a lot of water so you dont feel sick on the boat ride

Great pier for younger kids. Very clean, well maintained, and lit up no dark corners can feel safe letting your kids off the leash a little bit, let them run around and have fun while feeling safe. Definitely more kid friendly than Wildwood

Fun! Tickets dont expire and if you buy at least the minimum package amount, you get coupons to stores on the boardwalk. Definitely worth getting at least the minimum package.

Nice variety of rides, clean and no long lines. Tickets were EXPENSIVE and most rides took at least 4 tickets. I suppose this is to be expected. Kids had a great time and were safe, thats whats important!

Great rides. But bathrooms are a mess! Really stinky!

Great Family Fun in OCNJ. A variety of rides for all ages on the boardwalk. Prices are reasonable since you can prebuy them on the off season(winter) at a discount and they never expire.

Had a great time while observing the social distancing

I usely go to wonderland pier tried playland they have a lot more rides for older kids kids had a blast.. tickets are reasonable.

Park was very fun when I went there for field trips. They have rides for everyone there. It is a very fun and exiting experience.

Good clean and fun place for a weekend getaway. This is mainly for kids but adults can enjoy for sure too. You need to get coupons for rides with each ride ranging from 2-5 coupons. There is a ferris wheel that gives a pretty nice view of the area. The boardwalk, the ocean, this play area and all the stalls and people around make for a merry weekend!

A jewel of the Jersey Shore. Its truly a clean safe family atmosphere.

So much fun! There are rides for everyone from the smallest to the adults. The have a legend ot front so that you can see the height requirements. My 3 yr old was entertained as well as my adult husband. The amount of tickets per ride is reasonable and based on the type of ride. Plus the book came with coupons

Brought our 3 girls here ages 15, 13 and 10. They had a blast. There are rides for all different ages which is nice. Prices werent too bad.

What a great place! Plenty of great rides, both youthful and senior good looking, cordial staff, very considerate ride operators, expert technicians right there quickly to correct any very rare mechanical issues that may occur, delicious food, clean, clean well-supplied bathrooms, great game packed indoor arcade...you can let the children rip, yet theres plenty of seating so as to keep an eye on them when your not ripping with them. An absolute favorite must see in a beautiful shore town.

Took our young kids (6 and 4) and they loved it. Lots of rides in a fairly tight space. So when its crowded, its very crowded. But the lines were still short and the everything seemed well maintained and safe. Good boardwalk rides overall.

Conveniently located on the Ocean City boardwalk and they used to play the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song, which I like. My Mom likes to play ski ball and my Dad enjoys their vast selection of pin ball machines. Its a fun place to be. If they could only do something about all the little kids...

Fun spot on the beach with tons of rides! Very busy on a Saturday night in August. Ferris wheel was fun, bumper cars, etc. 47 tickets was $35, rides averaged 4 tickets per ride per person. Great time for kids of all ages!
