We play a lot of different courses that will take our cash money. And that’s were we will be playing from now on. So we’re not aggravated before we get started. Course is beatiful and not too difficult to play.

Okay for a muni course. Nice greens but slow, good staff .

In great shape usually, and probably one of the best maintained municipal courses youll find. Decent clubhouse, restaurant, and pro-shop. Sometimes super busy with tournaments....good for them, not so great without some planning. Great that you can walk, and until I can shoot under par Ill probably never get sick of it.

Very good price for a great municipal course. Looking at it on the drive in, it didn’t look like the courses I usually play on vacation. But we thought we’d give it a try. Loved it. A great variety of holes. Lots of uphill/downhill shots. VERY fast, smooth greens for a municipal course. It was a lot of fun and I’ll likely play it again if I’m back through Ocala.

Great day playing with my parents at Muni. I have been playing there for 40+ years and always enjoyed the course. Course is in good condition and always fun to play

New to the area and just checking out prices, activities and use the driving range. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Range was in excellent condition. The putting green and chipping area with sandtraps were top notch. Course looked in good condition and l am looking forward to playing a round.

Good place to wind up wind down

My fiance used to go there but the bartender Chaz ask him to borrow money a few times and it was a big turn off. He wont be coming back.

Course in good shape but it is a snow bird haven. Very crowed and slow play. Come back next spring when the snow birds leave.

I just moved to Ocala and love the course. I dont know any golfers yet and dont understand the tee time Policy. Just about every course in the area lets a single reserve a tee time but not this course. I have played twice and it cost me $10.00 more because I cant reserve a tee time. I wont play here again because this is so unfair. I dont know who sets this policy but it should be reviewed

Challenging golf course with very good greens. I play off and on year round and in a league in the summer. Great staff and practice facility.

Consistent conditions most all year. Some greens a little rough.

The Diet Pepsi was expired! The food was very bland. The chicken was like rubber. Unsure how they even had the ranch dressing wrong I usually will not say negitive comments but this was bad! Sure hope our company did not pay alot for this party I guess I am use to much better. Oh and after I said the diet Pepsi was expired TWICE they did not remove them I watched as they kept giving them out!!!!!

Had a blast. I am a 19 handicapper and played from the Silver Tees and at 5500 yds it was perfect. Overall a Very busy day AND I still played in 3 hours and 40 min. I planned on 4 1/2 hr round, which would have been ok. Course was in pretty good shape, a couple of greens were under repair and for me that is a good sign, as it shows they care. Great price and it included a lunch special all for under $38. Mr Hillebrand who checked me in is a rock star and treated me me like royalty. I will go back

Played 18 holes on Mother’s Day and the course is in fantastic shape. I play different courses throughout the week and this course is easily in the nicest condition in Ocala area as of right now. The $38 price tag is worth it by far! No beverage cart but

Today was the 1st time that I have played here and even though I like the layout, I doubt that I will ever play here again. There was a group that teed off as A Fivesome on A Sunday morning and One of the ladies in the group did not even have clubs and was using her Husbands clubs and when I asked the starter about it, he just threw his hand s in the air as to say “ Whatever “ I understand that everyone had a right to learn how to play, however Sunday morning is not the time

I worked in the golf industry for 10 years. Shot in the 70s today. This course is in perfect shape. People need to fix there ball marks but the greens are running perfect!

Love this old course. Looks like a few of the old oaks I remembered are gone.

This is another course that implies its better than what it is.

The OGC is the original and has withstood the test of time. Despite the extreme amount of rounds played the greens are the best in town. Jason and John are to be commended for their efforts, dedication and hard work in providing a great golfing experience each and every round. Support staff Bry, Courtney and others are incredibly helpful, and the absolute best.

This is a wonderful place to hold an event.

Great place to golf. My grandson was up from West Palm and he has played alot of courses. He is a member of PGA. Give it high marks. Employees were very friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff. Course conditions good. Five sets of tees from 4246 yards to 6552 yards. Greens were good.

Good breakfast at a good price before the round. The golf course is in very good shape and all staff members that we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The pace of play today was good. Well be back again.

I am giving 5 stars because it is at the top of the heap as a Muni-run course. The fairways and greens were in top shape, and although there are not a lot of sand bunkers they were excellently maintained with uniform sand throughout. The greens are fairly large and have a good amount of undulation.The staff at the pro shop and cart area were very friendly and helpful. The daily rate is fair but not a bargain, but I believe a membership rate would be a good deal.

The symphony under the stars event is very nice every year

Course is in great shape & the greens run true. However, the clubhouse allowed members to jump in the middle of our shotgun start. The members claimed, Were allowed to play when we want, wherever we want. Its a municipal course & these are high volume, prepaid, discount, customers.Great marketing, folks.

Course in decent shape, probably even better now after all of the rain. Only issue is it is a busy course, even with a 10:30 t-time. This may change due to summer weather, but well play most anytime.

Course was in very good condition and staff is wonderful

This review is about their Cafe. The last time I played here we were going to have lunch before play. After being seated the waitress left us sitting for nearly ten minuets before taking our order. She sat at the bar and did not move herself to come to our table for that period of time. We nearly missed out tee time. When playing here again we will go across the street to a good hamburger joint for better service.On the other hand the golf here has always been great.

Really nice course, well maintained. Back 9 was closed, but had very heavy rains for 3 days. I was lucky to get on between showers. Staff was very friendly. Might have gave 5 stars but the coffee was cold.

Golf course was great, grill not so much, help to busy talking to service us so after 15 minutes of waiting we left, very disappointed, probably wont come back.

Golf course is a real pleasure.to play. Fairways and greens are way above standards. Greens are quite quick and large and challenging.

Very nice course for a muni. Managed by Casper Golf. Friendly staff. Richard is very helpful and most the starters are too. Tuff putting as greens are slick and none are flat.

Staff is always courteous and they have excellent deals after 4. Front nine is long and straight for a couple too many holes, but the back has some good character.

Pretty good for a meeting facility for special events. Our annual dinner was held there.

Professionally maintained municipal course utilizing reuse water to keep greens and rest of course in tip-top shape year round.

The manager is the biggest prick ever. He is rude and entitled. He acts like hes better than you. Not only that, he told a paying customer to leave. I will never play at this course again because of how rudely I was treated. Stay away. Pine Oaks is much better anyways.

I consider that course my home course. Its challenging and I recommend it to everyone.
