This place has a LOT of potential, but I have to say I was kind of underwhelmed. The atmosphere is kind of lackluster. There was an overall feeling of blandness. Maybe the beer taps just needed their actual decorative taps. Besides the awesome BREWCADE sign, there wasnt anything on the walls and it fell kind of flat.

Really great pasta. You could really taste the homemade factor in their tagliatelle and pappardelle. Pasta Sisters is the closest to pasta I had in Bari, Italy where women are sitting in a line, kneading dough for pasta. It was that fresh!

Went here on an impromptu date and was not disappointed! I miss Rudys but this place is an awesome substitute. Played pinball and drunk from the tap...I had a really tasty cider suggested by the bartender who are so friendly and helpful. I wish it was bigger because it gets packed in there but overall I had I blast and will be back soon.

Cool addition to the Oakland bar scene not as vast as their SF location but it gets the job done.my only gripe is their upkeep on their machines (I do fundamentally understand that alcohol and electronics dont mix but even their foose ball table can act finicky) over all a solid bar with cheap drinks. (Dont expect anything fancy)

Definitely a favorite arcade bar, especially before a show at the fox but even as a standalone place to visit for a night out. Good selection and rotation of beers, bartenders move quickly and are pretty awesome, and I swear I was better at Skee Ball when I was 10 than I am now.

Its ok. I like SF emporium more as its a lot larger and has a better lineup of games. The pinball machines are in better condition than those of the SF location.

Great place to have some drinks while dipping into nostalgic fun. Cute date spot or fun place for friendly competition with your friends. Bartenders are warm and inviting as well as fast and helpful.

Fun little arcade for adults. This was my first visit and the whole inside has a odd smell to it, but if you can get past that, you will have a great time. All the games take 1 or 2 tokens ($1=4 tokens).

Very fun, even when its crowded! I recommend the pink panther drink and the game killer queen

This spot is the newest hidden gem of oakland old school games that cost 25 cent to 50 cents great drinks and xingones restaurant now! Dude tgis is the spot!

Great way to ring in the New Year, the only thing that could have made it better, is if they actually served food as well.

Definitely a nostalgia trip for 80s video games and pinball. There was a pretty nice selection of beer, games were cheap, and they have Killer Queen. They also have foos ball, air hockey, and ski-ball. They dont serve food, but its in a part of town with lots of take-away options that you can bring in, I presume.

Really fun time here, awesome selection of beer and games. Only knocking 1 star because of space, its not that big and floor plan is weird so it felt very cramped even without a big crowd. But other than that Im absolutely coming back. Great crowd too.

The alcoholic slushies will mess you up in the best way. Be prepared on weekend in DT Oakland for a lot of people. The DJs are always popping and who doesnt love video games?!

This place okay. I prefer the one in San Francisco. Its a bit smaller than expected. They have a full bar, small bar, but the staff are nice.

The bartenders were super nice and welcoming. I love the colorful lights and fun games.

For any serious pinball players Id give it a miss. They have disabled the shoot again feature on their machines. Makes some games scoreless and multiball features far too quick. You wont be getting any high scores here! I guess making money is the idea but with so many other pinball options nearby they wont make any more off me.The doorman also does a full bag check and makes you tip out your water during the day.

A small barcade in what used to be Rudys Cant Fail cafe. The games all run on a token system and are reasonably priced. Decent beer selection.

Poor execution good idea. Security check is over the top for a freakin arcade. Pat downs and full bag check... for an arcade?? Game selections are poor but if they mix in some video game consoles or new modern games it might balance out. The proportion or floor space to arcade is questionable for what he place is trying to be.

Yoooooo!!!! This place is awesome! It has NBA Jam, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, And multiplayer PacMan! Beers are plentiful and varied plus they have slushies that are actually delicious! The bartender was awesome and gave us some tokens to get us hooked. I like how this place isnt a huge warehouse but a little more intimate. Its definitely on my list of bars to stop at when I crawl downtown. Also learn to play Killer Queen. That game is the best!

The location is good, the concept is good, and the bartenders are good, but the acoustics are so awful as to drive me out of here one pinball game after anyone starts making a terrible racket playing table hockey. There is a decent pinball selection, a good mix of vintage and new video games, and a full bar, but the bare-bones space is cold, uncomfortable, and loud.

I definitely love the idea of emporium. The location in SF set the bar pretty high though. The layout in the city is just more open and there are better game selections. The emporium in Oakland reminds me more of a spot called brewcade. I wish there would be more than one hallway of consoles. They do have skeeball, Street fighter and nba jam though so that pleases me. Need more space and more game selections. Ill probably go back though as to not have to make that trip across the bridge
