Ashara Ekundayo Gallery has been an important asset to the Oakland community. It has been important to me. There arent many spaces in the Bay Area, that Ive seen, that celebrate Black people let alone the Black Woman. Ive attended several shows. I have had an opportunity to connect with women of different ages, backgrounds, and ideologies. It has been a blessing to meet with the artists, take pics, even break bread. Ill definitely be stopping by.... To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.#untilnextime
