We had a great time doing the Dr. Bishop room. We were a group of four and we took the full hour. It was difficult but thats what made it so fun. Will definitely be going back to do the other room.

My husband and I loved this escape room! The owners were super friendly and knowledgeable about escape rooms. It was very family and kid friendly which is a great plus. The room itself was full of surprises and great clues. It’s a great location with great spots to grab Food or drinks after. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Been to quite a few escape rooms, but this was one of my favorites. Multiple rooms and plenty of props in each room. There was Definitely a lot of thought put into Clue!! I highly suggest going. My friends and I plan on returning for additional rooms!

As an enthusiast, this place is a must! The attention to detail is phenomenal, only to be surpassed by their customer service!! We have done every room and eagerly await any future builds.

Family friendly, kid friendly.From the moment you arrive the employee will get into character. It makes the experience feel welcoming.We had a hard time finding the location at night so its best to approach it by driving towards the east on the right side of the road. Otherwise you might miss it and have to go around. there is public parking in the front of South Side Escape rooms.Currently there are 2 escape rooms available but are in the works of adding a clue game inspired escape room. The clue game inspired escape rooms come in 3 volumes and is expected to open in the winter season 2019. Check their site for updates

My daughter and her friend and I went to the South Side Escape Room last night. We did the “ Clue” experience. It was a real “who dunnit.” We had a great time! It was 1 hour of unearthing clues and solving them. The rooms were so authentic. We felt like we went back in time to the 1930’s. I love mysteries so this was perfect for me. I highly recommend this experience if you like to use your brain and solve a mystery. We are definitely going back!

Most unique escape room I have ever done! The themes and puzzles are truly one of a kind! The staff is wonderful and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time! We did the cabin and Paul gave us an amazing experience. The puzzles were unique and the moment you walk in the story begins. Im definitely looking forward to going back and trying their other rooms.

Amazing escape room experience. Everything from the room to the to the employees were very fitting to the theme. A couple of the people in our group were a couple of minutes late and they patiently waited for us. Definitely recommend!

I was so excited to go thru the Get a Clue room, it was amazingly cool and very difficult. It felt like I was actually inside a mansion from the moment I walked in. This is the third room of South Side Escape Rooms that I visited and each time Im blown away but this one was exceptional. Plus the owners are really cute

My experienced party of 2 escaped from Cabin of Dr. Bishop and Cold War Crisis in the same afternoon. Cabin had the more unique theme and an element that I had never seen in my 100+ escape rooms. Cold War was a bit simpler and slightly more traditional of an escape room. Both rooms require a small amount of reading but the reading is important to progress. If you get stuck, you may just find your hint from the gamemaster is her recital of something you already read. Just think outside of the box if the hint seems repetitive.

Oh man! We had such a great time! It was our first experience with an escape room but they made it so much fun! We tried the cold war crisis and we cant wait to try the cabin 9f Dr. Bishop next. I highly recommend to anybody.

This is without a doubt one of my favorite escape room experiences. The puzzles in this place were AMAZING.My group did The Cabin of Doctor Bishop (AWESOME THEME) and we were blown away. We had two escape room newbies with us, and they left amazed by every aspect.The set design of the room was awesome, you walked in and felt extremely immersed in the storyline. The unique way of being told the story was a pleasant change to the typical watch this video and do the room introduction other places do. The gamemaster made us really get enthusiastic before we even stepped foot inside, and when we did we were READY!The puzzles challenged us and we really truly had to work together and think outside of the box and try our best to beat the #1 record. We walked in trying to beat it, and came extremely close! 4 minutes away from beating 1st place, but it is alright it was extremely fun anyways.I have not seen some of the puzzles and you can tell that the staff really enjoy what they do as they build everything themselves and strive to make the experience great. We will 200% be back for the other room as well as the new one opening up. THANK YOU!!

The Get a Clue room was FANTASTIC! We were a group of 10 and had a GREAT time!!

We have had a couple of young teenager birthday parties here and had a wonderful time. The kids were all ampd up really using their powers of deduction and observation. Thanks for some great memories!

Me & my friends love South Side Escape Room in Oak Lawn! The rooms are very well done and incredibly creative! The owners and game masters are all very helpful and passionate. I’ve done over 50 escape rooms and their room “The Cabin of Doctor Bishop” is in my top 3 favorites! We had a wonderful experience from the start to the very end. We can not wait for them to open more rooms! You must check it out!

Our family of 4 just completed the South Side Escape Room,..Cabin of Dr. Bishop. Had a great time. I dont want to give away any clues but I can say it was laid out nicely and It was challenging, but we made it out in just under the hour. Would highly recommend going. We are looking forward to going back for the Cold War Crisis room. We also heard they are opening another escape room in hopefully a month! Cant wait!!

This is the second escape room in which I’ve participated. The first was lame and formed my initial impression of escape rooms, so it had been years since I chanced a return to another. And WOW, I am glad I did. My expectations were exceeded. It’s apparent that a lot of thought and planning were invested to create the scenarios, and unique props and furnishings were used to effectively produce specific experiences. The sum of all this planning is that THESE ROOMS ARE FUN.The first room we played, Cold War Crisis, was so enjoyable that my party decided to undertake the second and more challenging mission of the Cabin of Dr. Bishop. What a blast! And now I learned that a third room will be opening soon; I am eager to solve the next mystery.It’s a refreshing change of pace for having fun. Highly recommended.

The escape room was very fun and challenging! Lots of puzzles to solve through and tools to use before I could escape.

I didnt know what I was expecting at first because it was my first time doing an Escape Room. After going into the room, the fun began and each time you find a clue, you and your group begin to feel more excited. I definitely recommend for anyone to try this place out. You will not regret it

THIS ESCAPE ROOM WAS AWESOME. The creators really put a lot of time and thought into this room. We absolutely loved it and we cant wait for them to open another room.The room was larger than most and contained many authentic items and cool clues. If youre looking for a great outing, look no further than South Side Escape Rooms. We also went to the Whistle for dinner, which is 1/2 block east.

This was an amazing escape room! Out of every place Ive been to for escape rooms, these guys definitely take the cake! It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. My friends and I did the Cabin of Dr. Bishop and it was a blast, I will definitely be returning to try the Cold War room.

My son (age 14) and his two friends went to the Southside Escape room on Saturday night and came back the following night to go through the other room. The three of them loved both of the rooms! Its a great activity that fosters teamwork, problem solving, and fun! They were able to escape both rooms with just a little time left. Alli and Brandon were able to help with a few clues that guided them along to their final escape. All and Brandon, thank you for opening up your new business in Oak Lawn! The fact that you love going to escape rooms has led to your success in your new business adventure! Your rooms are creative, challenging, and very well thought out! You enthusiasm and excitement about each group going through is evident. Cant wait until you get new rooms in the future! My son is now addicted to the challenge of escape rooms!

We had the best time at South Side Escape Room! The whole experience from beginning to end was fantastic! The owners, Brandon and Ally, were awesome and we were really impressed with the room! It was fun, challenging and exciting! I appreciated their attention to detail and was impressed with their clever originality. I have been to a few different escape rooms but none like this. Family went to do the Dr. Bishop room during the holiday break. Awesome room. Got out in a hard-fought 10 minutes remaining. Challenging but fair, and full of wonderful A-ha! moments. Worth a trek!

I played the Cabin of Dr. Bishop room with 7 other friends this weekend and we had a great time! The backstory of the challenge is very creative to start, but the set design and details of the different sections in the room really take things to the next level. Definitely the most creative escape room Ive been in - I hope to try the Cold War Crisis as well!

My group the fuzzy demons had a great experience. We did doth rooms, and both were great, hints were provided when the proprietors saw that we were really stymied on an enigma. I would highly recommend south side escape rooms if you like an adventurous time out!

This was my first escape room, we did the Cold War option and with just 2 of us we almost solved it. It was a great time, great atmosphere, staff was friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend!

The staff is very accommodating, kind, and caring. Loved that they started in “character” and helped along the way if need be. Unfortuently we did not make the hour time limit, but they let us finish since we had one final clue left. Love that!! Overall, very professional and challenging yet engaging experience!

Came here in September to do my very first escape room. I was over the moon. my first room was the cold war crisis. while I wont give anything away I was very drawn into the setting, and story. the puzzles were amazing. This changed my outlook all together. Im now doing escapes rooms all over the place and looking to work at one. they are so much fun! please give this place a look, it is an amazing time!!!

Intricately designed sets, beautifully designed puzzles. You get immersed in the story as soon as you walk in the front door and the story and the excitement evolves as you play through the game. My family loved it.

This is only the second escape room Ive been to and WOW! The situation puzzle of 1972 cold war was thoughtfully planned out and contemporary appropriate. Unpredictable and fun is the best way to describe it . I will definitely return when the next one opens.

This is a great place for family, and corporations that have a desire to build teams in a fun way. The have different levels of escape options. This is a thinking game. Bring your Sherlock Holmes.
