Literally my favourite place on earth, I’ve been coming here annually for over ten years and I don’t see that changing any time soon. All the birds are amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful, the enthusiasm they show in the bird displays every day is clearly genuine and their contribution to the conservation of endangered species is incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone who loves animals, if I lived nearby I would apply for a job myself. Keep up the good work, you wonderful people!

Nice quiet park. Nice playground. We like the big swing chair and the spinning seats.

GREAT FAMILY PARK

Beautiful large grassy areas..even when the park has lots of people there still is plenty of space to enjoy without feeling like its crowded. Large playground areas

Considering all thats going around us today with COVID - 19 (restrictions) though it was partial open ( play ground was closed down) It was refreshing to be back at this nice - small park, clean, it has a few tables with benches, there is enough room to put a baseball net, It has where to play kick, baseball, nice trees that give just the right shade & theres always a nice cool breeze. Clean, nice green grass, its around quite residential area. Good for small gatherings.

Last week I took my kids to this park and they loved it!

This park is great, have had many baseball practices here over the years. Only one field for the little o es and one regular size field. It has a good playground and a basketball court. My only concern is, the occasional visitors that pass by smoking marijuana. Ive only experience these passing individuals maybe 5 times over the few years. In all I wouldnt stop going there.

Nice, quiet park. Enjoy our annual church BBQs here but have a hard time allowing littles to use the bathrooms by themselves with all the characters hanging around.

Great spot to take the kids for a walk, friendly staff who offer drinks and snacks to the kids during playground hours.

Perfect for kids ! Small park so I can keep a close eye on my son without getting up, its away from main streets and its always clean when we are there.

I have come to this park when it was El Canto and played on the softball team now I bring my granddaughter the staff is wonderful and great with all the kids very outgoing

Park was clean but restrooms was not open and theres hardly and shade near the playground they should put more benches around the playground and trees or something for shade

Use to be a good place to play basketball or play @ the playground with your kids.. but after 2 recent shootings here 1 being a childhood friend of mine who lost his life, I would only take my son now during the day with plenty of people there or not at all.

WARNING... MURDER PARK!!! This is a unsafe park. Two shootings, that resulted in two homicide in six months. There has been five total shootings at Gerdes, in the last two years. Law abiding residents, that live around this park, are in fear. This park is primarily inhibited by dope smoking gangbangers with guns, homeless drunks and Illegally aliens. If you do not believe my post regarding the shootings and murders at Gerders Park, just Google Gerdes park Norwalk shooting. It is all there. This park is a Hellhole.
