Today I decided that I was going to apply at this location in Norwalk . After completing the application I called an hour after to check the status. And when I called the cashier was very nice but once the phone was passed to the manager Dave he was very rude to me. I just asked if my application could be reviewed and he started to scream and became very nasty ! I shop here a lot but I’m not longer going there based on how I was treated by the manager Dave. I won’t be telling anyone to work at this location because it’s a joke!!!
Great customer service and worth the trip, even from NY. Manager Dave is outstanding. Jack on the sales team is tops. A great store to visit if you want to be guided by people who not only know the game and products of golf but also know customer service.
I went with my 8 year old son who wants to play golf. I was thinking of buying him and myself clubs so we can learn together. Outside of hearing that “I’ve got no game” which is a fact since I never played I received no advice. In fact for some people the experience at the store could be enough to be deterred from the game. I am sure I will seek advice and equipment elsewhere. There were indicators that other sales people were not much better.
Was in this store to select new golf irons. Tested for over an hour and the so called pro let me hit but was mainly busy with other customers. The person was not qualified at all. Did not offer fitting advice. He just said take what feels best. I finally decided on irons and wanted to trade in my old irons. I had already checked the value and he offered 30% less then the value from the website. I told him that at Dicks Sporting Goods they would be offering more. His reply was that they were owned by Dicks and that offering more would not be the case. I decided to leave and go back to Dicks Sporting Goods in Danbury CT who did an excellent job taking the time, fitting the clubs and offering the real value (a bit more) for my old irons. Stay away from this place. Im glad I did not buy from Golf Galaxy as I would have bought clubs not fitted to my needs. The so called pro was useless and forgot even what irons I had selected initially before I decided to walk away. The girl at the register even had to correct him on what I was planning to trade in. Bad, bad experience and I suggest to try Dicks Sporting Goods first before you go to this place if you consider it at all. Dont
Had them re-grip my clubs. They did a great job in very little time. The staff was helpful in finding a replacement grip and were able to do the whole job in about a day.
Called and asked if a left handed F8 was in stock and was told it was absolutely there. Drove 45 minutes to buy it. Wasn’t there. Employees went back and forth playing the blame game. Didn’t offer me anything until I asked.
The staff are great. Keith and Cory go above and beyond for me EVERYTIME I go in there. Thanks guys.
Good selection of all things golf related. Prices are OK. Staff is friendly most of the time and helpful.
Jeff is great, looking for new clubs and he was extremely helpful without trying to over-sell you. I am an hour away from store but worth the service and prices
The place is serviceable if you want to buy golf balls-thats it- the help that works there is an oxymoron- Go somewhere else for your clubs for sure
Sub par effort from staff after i spent 500.00They wouldn’t look at my wife’s golf bag to see if they could fix a bent kickstandThey smart- assedly laughed at meI said i don’t care if you break it, i won’t hold you responsible
Decent selection of everything golf
Thanks you for the dolin
