What a charming space. I met with some friends and we had a wonderful time out in this beautiful environment on a beautiful day. Extremely well-maintained clean public space. Im sure I will be back when next I get to visit with my friends in Northbrook. Great place for kids the elderly I like wonderful place to walk your dog

A very clean park with a decently sized walking path. There is a hill where you can exercise or go sledding during the winter. There are trash bins and bags for disposing of your pets excrement.

Nice park. Well kept. Sledding, tennis, picnic are available. Easy parking.

Has big slides which are good for the winter season and extreme biking. Beautiful, but not a big one

Wonderful park to walk through. Northbrook did a great job designing the park. Fishing, tennis, soccer, hiking and a hill for sledding. All age groups can find things to do here

Wood Oaks Green Park is easily the best park in Northbrook. First, it offers a large playground for children to play and run around. Second, there are 8 great tennis courts to play on. Third, a lake offers a nice place to relax and go fishing. Fourth, at winter the giant hill gets covered in snow, making it great for sledding. There are three different hights to the hill for different aged riders. Finally, there is a large trail to take walks on. Also, if there is no parking available, you can park at the school on non-school days.

Beautifully maintained park with walking trails, sports park, and just overall fresh area for everyone to enjoy.

This park is awesome, i would like to camping here. Any idea toilets are open here? Also small family with three person camping require the permission?

We have enjoyed walking the trails. It is however, upsetting to see SO MANY without a mask on.

Great playground, restrooms next to it. Free parking,dogs allowed on a leash. We like the lake there. You can go fishing.

Its gorgeous and has so many fun amenities like tennis courts, trail for running, beautiful pond and great views. I will be visiting this place again

Great open space, sledding hill thats the highest in the surrounding area. Multiple soccer and baseball fields as well as tennis courts and a fishing pond. Long, well maintained paved walking/running path.

Lots to do. Paved paths, tennis, fishing, open fields, playground, public grills, etc. Good park to hang with the family for an afternoon.

The hoops are closed and there are no benches. But nice place to go for a walk or to bike.

Labor Day in the green space had couples playing tennis, athletes bounding up and down the sled hill, couples holding hands on the shade, and everyone else walking, jogging, or rollerblading on the nicely paved path that makes a ribbon around and through the park.Plenty of parking off Sanders Road, and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere makes the park a jewel in the Northbrook suburb. You do hear a bit of traffic from 294 as cars whizz by, but really thats only if youre on the south end of the hill flanking the highway.I am not a fisherman, but I did see a number of poles going on the retention pond--not sure of their success, but looked fun.One final note, this park is great in the winter, too. Just when youve had it with cabin fever, jump over here to fresh air and snow.

Its a beautiful and well kept park. I wish I came more often. Dog friendly too.

All I can say is thank you Northbrook park district for not closing Wood Oaks Green Park. You saved the sanity of a lot of people during this pandemic.

This is a very nice park with a nice playground and several different places to eat. It is very peaceful here.

Really nice park. Plenty of space to walk. End to end is almost a mile, so its a good hike for workout purposes.

Great trails, plenty to do

Great park. There are 8 tennis courts with wind screens and a separate court with a wall for practice. The park has a number of paved trails, which are perfect for leisure walks or even biking. There is a good size pond with fish if interested and a small shady picnic area with tables. Best part, the the park is really well taken care of and there rarely are mosquitoes during the hot summer days. Kids can enjoy a nice playground. In the middle, close to the parking are the bathrooms with running water and a small shelter with more picnic tables.

Excellent place to arrange a birthday party, family reunions and other occasions. I arranged a photo suit for my daughters birthday. The green grass (like in older Windows laptop) being maintained well and the scenery of pond is awesome. You can walk, run, crawl, play, cook, and celebrate. There is a football arena, play area which has slides, swings etc. Dont miss this place in summer.

Amazing place for taking your kids sledding. There are 3 hills - distance from parking and left stair case increases difficulty with the closest hill to the lot and stairs being easiest and softest. I recommend going after 6 because it is not as croweded with clueless parents and clueless kids.

Very nice, large park with soccer fields, baseball fields, a lagoon, maple parking, bathrooms, tennis courts and a nice playground for toddlers and older kids. It really has it all, plus a nice walking/biking path.

I love it! I like the scenery and the picnic table, behalf the hottness, plus whats the most amazing place is, its the hill. We get to do the most favorite, Sledding and Snowboarding. Also the picnic table is what i really like since its where the party has been set up.

Great outdoor space with baseball diamond, soccer fields, tennis courts and a great playground for kids. Sledding hill is the highest in Northbrook on the West side of the park; year round fishing as well.

When I was a little helped often I met my friends here to play football. Always a nice lawn.

Good place to sled for free. But a bunch of people went up on the lanes and some people got hurt and the snow was all messed up

Great park to visit. There is something to do for all ages. Here you have playgrounds, fields to play sports, tennis courts, and even fishing.

Very fun and convenient considering it was right next to my track and field course. Not the biggest park, but has a lot to offer.

This is a great place to play tennis. There are eight courts and a half court with a wall to practice on.

Very nice park. One big (SkyBuilders) Playground for kids 5-12 and one for kids 2-5. 8 tenis corts. 4 soccer fields. 2 baseball fields. 2 picnic areas. Big Slide Hill. Walk/Running paths. Good place for recreation.
