Played for the first time on October 23, 2019Course was in great condition, all the grass was cut nice and short so it was easy to find your ball. Greens were fast but true. Will definitely play again.

Very nice course, fully staffed and friendly. Course was in nice shape. Easy to walk. Started at 1103 finished 1445. Snack shack mid course was nice, we passed by it at least 3 times.

I really enjoyed playing sportsman. Its a reasonable length but becomes more difficult because of the well placed bunkers. The course is littered with bunkers on the fairways as well as protecting the greens. It was in really nice condition when I played it and it is very affordable considering the condition.

Tough greens but lots of fun

Even though, in all honesty, I have never golfed the course proper, you know it must be good. This is Northbrook and with a community so bourgie expect the finest golf courses. I have used the driving range many times. Also, they have a fun miniature golf course, nothing special (certainly not Par-King) but its a nice touch. I am also aware that they offer, or at least offered, lessons. I recall taking some trial lessons more than one decade ago. If you have any interest in golf, definitely check this place out!

Only the refusal or inability of some players to repair damage to greens precludes a fifth star. If one enjoys golf in a beautiful setting but ignores ones responsibility for course stewardship, please, for the sake of those who care, stay away.

Place is very well keep with plenty to do from 27 holes,minigolf and a driving range. I have played here for over a 1000 hours in the last 5 years and I love it. And its pretty cheap compared to other golf course I like to play at such as the glance country club.

Course was flooded and no beer cart

Great xc ski option, but minimal grooming and snow has been minimal for the past few years, not much they can about that. Impressive landscaping.

My girlfriend likes this place, often here she makes photos with me.

Fast greens.

Attended a golf outing here. got yelled at by the ranger george for apparently being behind 1 hole. he refused to let a women in my 4some hit her ball because he claimed we were coaching her the whole time. it was about 15 seconds of me trying to show her how to get under the ball for a chip shot. we then hurry to next hole tee off and then had to wait 10 minutes to hit our second shot. so we clearly werent the slow group. we also finished 18 in 4 1/2 hours which is a pretty good pace. so im unsure why GEORGE felt the need to attack us and make the women in my group pick her ball up. he was rude, inconsiderate and not very good at his job.

Tee boxes, fairway and rough, are all kept in very good shape. The greens sometimes get a bit questionable, but never bad enough to warrant being upset about. Mostly wide open, so if youre a bad golfer like I am, youre not going to lose all of your balls. I enjoy playing here!

The employees are slow, kinda rude, & the east course has way to many missing drain covers for stepping into or losing a ball down. For the money Id have to say Country Side in Mundelein is much better but 20 min farther away.

Very nice golf course and good price

Great old school course nestled in Northbrook, il. 27 holes are available with the classic 18 being the center piece. Its certified for all levels of usga kids development. The classic 18 plays as a long par 70, adding difficulty by protecting the par 5 greens with multiple bunkers. A low score is obtainable through aggressive play on the par 4 holes and confident play on the par 3s.

The miniature golf is well maintained and relatively inexpensive.

The never-changing putt-putt challenge is nostalgic fun. Driving range is where its at. Golf balls!
