Attended Carp-O-Rama, an annual event put on by the Game and Parks. The kids had a blast catching fish!

Had a blast in the boat and swimming, camping, and camp fire!

Fairly nice camping spot, could have more bathroom and shower facilities and more hookups along canal side. Roads need some work, one way traffic around the camping area with speed limit strictly followed. Mowing and weed control could be better. Park stickers inforced and long term campers should he informed of rules. The campground has a lot of potential. Would love to see some improvements.

Great water. There is a park. And its fun.

Nice place be sure to take a boat we just stop over night on our way home. The water looked nice and one of the most reason able places we stayed. The host was very nice also

This park is in a beautiful spot - but looks like it isn’t kept up. Tried to play with my dog on one of the little inlets next to the lake and within ten mins had over a pound of glass pieces. :(.

I wish we had a place to camp in town that wasnt so close to a road, but at least it isnt a busy road. This time of year it isnt busy at all. We were the only ones on our side of the grounds. The bathrooms are nice

Stopped for a nice walk around the park.

This is a Beautiful Lake with very kind people and clean showers and restrooms. We tent camped here for an evening and it was a saving grace as we were passing through. The Lake is clean and Beautiful. The park is very clean, and there are water location spots that are plentiful if you are tent camping.

Every time we come there it rains. This time it also hailed.

Nice, mostly clean decent kept.On a good weekend its peaceful except when the ( celebrations ) decide to break out.

This has been placed at the top of our favorite camping spots. Primative camping is just that. Make sure to bring a grate to cook your food on. Most campsites are a rock fire ring. Tons of camping right on the water! Vaulted toilets that were always in clean bathrooms. There are places to fill up water jugs, fish cleaning stations and places very close by to purchase firewood, bait and anything you might have forgotten. 2 swim beaches for family and dogs swimming. Great place to fish! Thos is really a family destination for a little roughing it!

Prices increase to $30 a night, garbage doesnt get emptied often enough & sometimes you can smell it.

This is a little Hidden Gem south of North Platte Highway 80. Its about 5 miles south its a campground right on the lake. No amenities to speak of....however, water, pay showers and a dump station are available. You can camp right next to the lake. I was on the side where the exit Canal is located. I was told that there is a full-service campground on the other side of the lake I didnt go over there . This Campground has lots of spaces mostly level and No Reservations. $6 a night for Nebraska residents and $8 a night for out-of-state residents.

Always nice and quiet. Outlet does not have electricity for camping, but inlet does.

Crazy the way park permits and the fees for camping has went up.Although we will probably still camp here.

Great stop for a swim in a most turgid artificial lake that is full of silt. Campground does not have water. The bathrooms smell worse then the large dairy farms that you pass on the highway. But what do you need for $7?
