The hotel was nice at first. Covid-19 measured werent taken seriously here. When I originally stayed I booked 2 nights. Then the next couple of days I just extended my booking each day. Well the final day that we were there, it took us a little longer to get out. It was myself, my husband, my toddler, and my infant. Check out time was at 11, I called the office and told them it would be a little bit longer than that they stated that was fine. At about 11:15 the front desk calls our room. My husband answers and is informed by the front desk if we are going to stay longer that we will be charged $10 to be out by 1 and $10 an hour until we leave. My husband stated that that was fine and that we would pay the money Ive our family needed time to finish packing, we came all the way from Florida. At about 12:30 we get a knock on the door, it is a security guard stating that the ladies in the front were going to call the police if we did not leave, we told him we were packed, and we began to move our items out of the room. This hotel never did return our deposit. I would recommend that you take the 30-minute drive to North Myrtle Beach to a different Hotel.

Went down to the beach with an owner of a 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit. These are nice! Had a wonderful time, and what staff I had contact with were wonderful! Nice pools, hot tubs, indoor pools, and had breakfast at the restaurant last day. Delicious omelet! Great views, as well, if you look at the few pics I posted. Ill definitely be back!

The hotel was just okay. The staff were great and the room was clean. The appliances were in need of repair/update, and the walls needed painting. The pools were nice, but additionally the indoor pool ceilings were peeling. There is a no smoking policy (that includes balconies) that wasnt enforced because we could smell it when we opened the balcony.I would stay here again if the price were lower. From the price I expected a bit more. Not a bad hotel, but just needs some fixing here and there.

1207 is a great little unit. New kitchen and bath comfortable beds. We are a couple staying here it is a one bedroom unit and could sleep 8 but 4 would be comfortable.Bay Watch offers 3 outdoor pools plus a bunch of hot tubs and winding rivers and multiple indoor pools. Also they have bars and restaurants water ice stands an out door bar with a dj sometimes. You dont need to leave the resort. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The price given on Booking was added to once we arrived. The rooms were not cleaned due to virus. The staff was nice enough but unwilling to help with money issues. We were simply told that was hotel policy. At one time this was probably a great establishment but it has obviously went down in every way possible.

Positive: The hotel was located on the ocean and our room was facing the ocean.

I took advantage of a special deal at a really good price at a time when I just needed to get out of the covid clinch...disinfected and prayed about it.However, some of the counter staff seemed a bit tired and needing a break themselves or maybe it was me.....?Its a beautiful resort full of things to do and close by commerce.The suite that we stayed in was homey and well equipped for our Thanksgiving /21 year Anniversary getaway.Upon arrival I was told I would be able to extend a day if I decided to in the morning,we chose to extend....came down early to do so and was told something totally different....we couldnt extend.(notes should have been made)That is what made it only 4 stars.It was a one night extension during covid AND its november 27th,how can you not have space??....for one extra night.(or maybe its just me)Otherwise well return...it was nice regardless.

The staff were friendly and prompt. The suite was clean and pleasant. The kids had a great time, yet my only problems were that the bathtub jets didnt work and they actually had a VCR in the room for entertainment smh, but we still had a good time and enjoyed the suite

Once we arrive home I realize I had forgotten my medication.... several being extremely important. I was informed that housekeeping had left for the day. I stated that I understood that however the medications wasn’t just any regular medication and tried to stress the severity of the medication. My husband and I were both hung-up on. At this point I had no choice but to call the local police department. My medication was where I said it would be. The “manager” stated she worked in South Myrtle and was used to drugs. Nope just my normal meds.

We stay here the month of November. Great place to stay. Very quiet place to stay. Beach in front of the resort is never crowded this time of year.

We loved staying at the Bay Watch Resort! Clean, Comfortable, and Super Friendly Staff. Beach access was wonderful and the south part of Myrtle Beach location was very convenient. Hotel was fully booked but you could never really tell. I definitely recommend this place we had a wonderful vacation here!

We visited Bay Watch resort on 9/30/2020. We stayed in room 912. To tell the whole story would take too long. Bedbug was found and housekeeping confirmed it. Family was moved to another room. Now they are saying there was no evidence of bedbugs. Anyone else ever have this happen? I guess the refund they promised wont happen either

This is not a fancy place but it is really nice and is on the beach. There is a pool side bar with food. The music was really good. The pools were well maintained

Baywatch was a nice place to stay. They had swimming pools, hot tubs, and a lazy river to use. They also had an outside and inside bar. Our room was very nice and had everything we needed. This location was great to head North or South of Myrtle.

Nice condo with suburb oceanfront view. No problems with condo or Elliot Realty at all everything went very smooth. I only have the two complaints listed below which is a Bay Watch issue.A person can not relax and listen to the ocean waves for the incessant music that plays all day every day until 11pm.Perhaps Baywatch could take breaks from the music as not everyone wants to hear it constantly.Someone in one of the condos around us was consistently smoking cigarettes and pot on the balcony. We complained several times. Other than these two things the place was nice. We wont be back unless the music is not played constantly though.

The location maybe beach front, but there is still massive construction.The room we got was an oceanfront view which was worth it. The room had a kitchen along with a pull down wall bed so even though its a one bed room, the living can act as another room.We didnt do much with the attractions that the hotel as we were out most of the day. The food from the bar is average; which is a good thing.

The staff is amazing, very friendly large open lobby leading to a gift shop. The establishment has multiple pools, a indoor lazy river multiple points for beach access. The room my family stayed in had a side view of the ocean. The reason why I gave three stars is because the room had a musty order, during my covid cleaning I wiped up quite a bit of hair and there was black gunk in the crevices of the table, as well as on the thermostat. As well as the mattress was very firm, basically very hard, I would compare it to papa bears bed if this were a fairy tale. Overall it is a good place for couples and families.

Love the easy access to the pools and beach and ocean. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Would love to come back next year. Have had a wonderful vacation this year.

The shower in our room had low pressure so it took forever to shower. It was hard with 8 people. Besides that it was a great place to visit. We will be back. The staff was very helpful and respectful throughout our trip.

We were on the 2nd floor in a 3 bedroom and also a 15th floor 2 bedroom in the same week right after the hurricane weekend. I had booked the 3 bedroom waiting on Ocean Isle to open back up and it never did. So I then had to book longer with Baywatch but the 3 bedrooms including mine were already taken(which is understandable on short notice) so we moved into a two bedroom that worked just fine. Staff was very accommodating, friendly, and allowed me to go look at the two bedroom to see if we were happy with it before moving. Elevators were fast, worked, and not filthy, staff workers spoke and were friendly. 5 stars BUT, I didn’t like that you can’t get a luggage cart. They have bellhops that will gladly assist, but they have the luggage carts and won’t give them up. I guess they keep getting lost? Not sure, maybe they should have guests sign them out. We had 6 people worth If stuff so I gave him 10 for helping get two carts up while we rolled a few suitcases. Overall I loved it, something for everyone to do from the lazy river, several pools, kid pools, etc. Quick access points to the beach. I would recommend staying here at any age.

Unbeatable views, great swimming areas, love the beach. Only thing that would have been better is to have supplied beach chairs at no cost to guests. This is the first condo/resort weve stayed at that didnt.

Amazing rooms. Beautiful views. All of the pools, lazy rivers, and hot tubs are nice. Elevators are fast. The onsite restaurant, The Sandtrap, is excellent. I highly suggest the fish and chips, seafood stuffed mushrooms, and the she crab soup. The frozen drinks at the outside bar are delicious as well. I highly recommend this resort.

Has indoor and outdoor pool. Small fitness center and cafe all on site. The rooms and exterior are showing some wear and will be needing some refreshing soon. Enjoyed the large bathrooms.

Went here for my husbands birthday Aug 15-17 and we were treated terrible by the front desk staff, an older man and woman. Upon arrival the guy told us this wasnt a place to have fun. When we got to our room and stepped out on the balcony the woman yelled up and asked my husband if we were smoking weed. I yelled down, we literally just got here . So wasnt a warm welcome at all. That night there was a wedding party that stayed there, they partied all night, we didnt mind. The next night we were listening to music in the car, which was parked at the furthest point of the parking lot and was told to turn our music down. We did and even switched the music to jazz, 5 min later the guy comes out and threaten to CALL THE POLICE on us....we were shocked! Like really the police! For having fun at a place that we spent over $750 dollars to stay at! People got out of their cars after witnessing the harassment and let us know that our music was in fact NOT loud and they couldnt even here it and they were a few cars over. This is not a place for minorities to visit, they profile you and closely monitor you, to make sure you dont have anything that looks like fun. I was so disgusted and traumatized by their treatment. I stayed at the Beach Haus Resort right next door, in a beach walk out room, just a month prior and besides all the mold in the bathroom, we had a good time. The front desk staff at Baywatch really ruined the trip for us...I wish I could get my money back....

Nice place, friendly staff. The pools are warm and clean. Would recommend swimming in them. Didnt stay the night just needed to relax. And the bar by the pool was great

Positive: The lazy river was one of our favorite things.We liked the beach and the view from our balcony.Plenty of free parking in the parking garage. Negative: We were disappointed that we did not get to check out the restaurant because of renovations but we understand because of covid and look forward to returning again soon.

Lets start with the positives.1. It was clean.2. It was spacious.3. It has excellent views and beach access.4. It has amazing pools.Now the negatives.1. The springs in the mattress were busted.2. The pool bar plays loud music all day that is very clear from your balcony.3. They take a $100 deposit even if you pay with a credit card.4. The pool area rules are not enforced in any way. This resulted in young children in the hot tubs for hours at a time, people smoking in the pool area, and even fireworks being set off.5. One of the employees or permanent residents who drives a red Dodge Challenger was doing donuts and burnouts right in front of the property for about 10 minutes straight.6. There is a parking garage, but it is pretty far away from tower 1, and no alternative parking.7. They have very limited handicap parking.8. The entire place is very outdated.9. The wifi kept dropping out.10. The TV is very old and has slow response when using the remote.

My family and I went for the 4th of July this year, during Corona. First, the BEST thing about this hotel was the location, right on the beach, steps away!! We were on the 14th floor with a great view! The hotel itself had some changes, b/c of Corona, like the hotel bar stopped serving at 7 PM, so we couldnt even get dinner at the hotel!! Does Corona only effect people after 7?? The other restaurant wasnt open at all so no breakfast, and you couldnt get a luggage cart unless you tipped the ONE guy who was there, and they also didnt offer maid service during our 3 night stay- we asked for extra towels, and they never brought them, we had to ask again later that day.I know they are there to make money but with all the conveniences of staying at this resort being closed, they shouldve done more to give me my moneys worth. I dont think I would return.Overall, the hotel room was nice- great view, and the location is ideal! But I dont think I would go back to this same resort, the staff was courteous but I wasnt thrilled with the whole ambiance of the place.

I absolutely love Bay Watch. We have stayed there for our last 6 or 7 visits. The staff is friendly and courteous. Our room was amazing, 18th floor and the view was spectacular.Thank you Bay Watch staff for your hospitality. We will definitely be back again soon.

Condos are really dated and starting to fall apart. We love this place and have been coming for years, but it seems like only some of the owners care about up keep on their units. Other than being a little run down, they are always very clean. Great location and awesome customer service.

Management was terrible. Arrived at night to check in our room and the room was filthy. We had to request a new room which we were moved to after a roach crawled on my leg while I was using the bathroom. It does not look how it’s advertised online and there was no manager on duty at the time to help with the situation . Housekeeping did not do a good job because we didn’t have a fresh roll of toilet paper and there was a towel hanging over the vent which was not removed before we were relocated to that room. Obviously somebody smoked in the room before we got there. Ms.remeka was unapologetic and rude. I will never stay here a again. Wish I could give it no stars. Don’t stay in this hotel.

Vacation 2020, great staff, great drinks, but the food needs a little help.

Check in was a breeze. Room was super small and not very clean. Hair everywhere and there was still food from who knows when in the microwave. Definitely not booking this hotel again.

Positive: The view was breathtaking! Our suite has a beachfront balcony. Negative: We saw a couple bugs inside our suite and the furniture is outdated. Those two things are what prevented this from having a perfect rating. Otherwise it was great.

This place is awesome. Youre not going to get such value for your money anywhere. Huge bathrooms, huge rooms, comfortable. Rooms and kitchens are stocked. Staff is amazing. Theyre helpful and polite. I really love staying here.

I stayed in unit 1211 which rents through Elliot Beach Rentals. This is a 2 bedroom 2 bath end unit that is ocean front. You can clearly tell the owners take great pride in the cleanliness of their unit. The unit has been totally remodeled and has brand new furniture. I have stayed in units which had old tires furniture but this place is decked out with an all tile floor which looks beautiful. We will be going back.

Location is nice; away from busy streets... Staff seem friendly enough... And while management appeared to be aware of and considerate of COVID-19 protocols, way too many guests and staff ignored the rules.

Comfortable apartment, deceptive pricing, good service. You should know Bay Watch charges a resort fee when you check in: an additional fee beyond the rock-bottom pricing offered online. I paid in advance for an off-season room and was charged an additional $25 for a two night stay, for maintenance of the pools, conference center and complimentary wifi.Service was friendly, room was clean but dated, and the view and location are amazing! Well worth the trip. Standard 12 cup coffee machine, mini fridge, microwave, coffee mugs and actual glasses, lazy river indoor pool in the North tower, resort fountain pool in the middle tower, parking included for a single car and no trailer.

If you dont mind not being close to anything, then this is the place for you. Very outdated, seen a few bugs last day in room.

Great staff, rooms are fantastic; very clean, all the amenities of home, and awesome views. Multiple pools/jacuzzis, three on site restaurants, and all attractions are within a reasonable distance. What more can you ask for in a beach vacation??

This is a dated hotel. Customer service is great. Ocean view rooms are spacious. But the interiors are very old and worn out. Pools are heated and fun. Restaurants within the resort is not bad either.

Clean. Nice balconies. Great access to the beach. Reasonably priced.

Loved the hotel beach front nice rooms comfortable beds they do hold a $100 deposit for um, at least 17 days so far so be prepared for that.

My family had an awesome time at Bay Watch. We was right by the beach with ocean view. There was so many pools inside and out my kids really enjoyed the pools. Added bonus was free attractions.

Went for a womens retreat. The rooms were lovey, the beach pretty, and pools plentiful. Even with a couple of the Jacuzzis out of service, there was always either another or something else to do. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but it was strange that the gift shop was open without an employee to man it. We finally asked the front desk what to do, and they kindly just checked us out there, and tax free to boot! It was a lovely getaway, and I think my kids would like it too one day.

Great room, friendly staff, plenty of pools, oceanfront room. Room could use updating but won’t stop us from coming back. See you soon bay watch resort. Thanks for a great vacation

This resort is great. It will be even better when they open up the restaurants again. The pools are great and the beach is a lot less crowded than resorts down in Myrtle Beach.

Outside of the hotel is nice. Rooms are gross. Would not recommend it and would not stay there again.

Could not register. Could not get through. No one answers phone. Put on hold 3 times for over 30 minutes. Folks who do answer wont transfer calls. One number listed on website is wrong. When calling number given to me cannot press 1, 2. Or 3. Does not work.

Due to the coronavirus not the same place Im sure theyll be back up and running but right now subpar the people that work there are really care bad experience went to the supervision and they corrected the mistake so I will give them another chance

This could be a 5 star easy. But it is not cleaned very good. We arrived on Saturday the pool hasnt been cleaned yet. Same nasty towel has been on the ground since we got here. Pool are not cleaned at all. Its a 4 star because its a super nice place just nasty.

Positive: Relaxing. Quiet. Great staff. Great view. On the beach. Some how this hotel attracted pleasant and polite guests. I would definitely look at this hotel if I chose to go back to North Myrtle Beach. Negative: Water pressure in the shower could have been better.

DIANE TOTH the wedding coordinator is shady and a thief!! She tried to keep our deposit due to Covid and half our deposit went to a stay at the resort . We checked in to the penthouse suite and it was NASTY !!! Stains on wall, bathroom unclean and a horrible smell so we cancelled and asked for a refund !! 2 days later DIANE TOTH charged our credit card without asking without our permission trying to steal the money back !!!! Run far away from this resort they are fraudulent!!!! Stealing money for services not rendered !!! Never get another dime from us !!!

Everyone was really nice and the resort was well kept. Our children really enjoyed their pools. We will definitely stay again.

Check in was difficult. Staff was rude. Place has 4 luggage carts. One being held by bell man who made us wait twenty minutes before going to closet to retrieve cart to assist. Not a place to take elder or handicap.

The room was actually very dirty, it smelled awful I wouldnt even make my enemy sleep there. Fact is I was scared to sleep in the bed because it smelled awful in the room to begin with. I expected way better for 1200 we payed. I probably shouldnt have expected much from a hotel that looks absolutely horrible and needs a desperate remodel anyways. I felt like I was in the 70s or 80s. Would not recommend coming here even of this was your only option. Just wait until a nicer hotel opens up because it was horrible. Lets just talk about the room because thats the main part. As soon as you enter the room the smell hits you, it smells like an old cat lady stayed there for years and no one cleaned up. We resulted into wiping down the room with cleaning wipes and the wipes were black when we were done, if cleaning was done properly they shouldnt have been completely black. We had to get candles for the smell it was so bad. The bed was so uncomfortable and the couch felt like something you would get in a prison just a thin layer of foam. I was scared to even sit on it because everything just felt unclean. And the furniture looked like it was from the 80s with a flower pattern I would have found at my grandparents house. Very very disappointed, would NOT recommend.

Love Everything but the keys to the rooms. Works 1st day then quits working. Thank gosh for having more.

A wonderful lovely place to stay. I stayed there on Memorial Day weekend. I was in a 2 bedroom apartment. It comfortably sleep 8. It was oceanfront. Waking up to the sound and sight of the beach was awesome.

Great experience. Planning a family trip for next year.

We will never stay here again or refer anyone to stay here.We pre checked in early and checked out the same day only hours after getting our room.We arrived early and pre checked in, we were told we could use the amenities while we waited. During our wait we decided to let our 3 kids swim in the pools as we sat with our 8 week old daughter in a lounge chair . During this we witnessed another child throw up in the kiddie pool, no one told anyone, so we went up to pool towel attendant and told them thinking that it needed to be cleaned and that they would be able to address the situation. After telling them, they got another employee and he brought a net to clean the vomit, he was unable to see throw up so he just left. They did not add any additional chemicals or close the pool for cleaning. We then witnessed multiple families get in that same pool with their toddlers and small kids.after waiting a couple hours and checking back with front desk we were told they had a room for my family of 7 ( including 8week old). When we got to that room it was not ready, it had not been cleaned. Trash was in bags around the room and unmaid beds, after returning to front desk Rameca (who was the only silver lining during our stay) got us another room and gave us food vouchers for Fishtails.When we got to our new clean room we started sanitizing ourselves due to Covid 19. While cleaning we found a used flosser covered in blood laying on window seal in kitchen, McDonalds food in microwave, blood smeared on light switch in one bathroom, we could not get one bathroom shower to switch to shower and the other would not switch to tub.Around 12:30 am my wife and I walked into kitchen to prepare a bottle for our 8 week old daughter, as we were in there she noticed a bug crawl across one of her bottles, not just any bug, but a cockroach. After turning on a light we found another on the counter and on another the floor. 3 cockroaches in a matter of about 5 minutes. I went to front desk and spoke to Ramone, who was very nice, we obviously did not want to stay in a room with cockroaches. He advised that there were no empty rooms and he would let his supervisor know in the morning. We decided to check out at that point, it was 2:00am, it took over and hour to get access to a bell cart. After 2 hours of packing (where we found and killed a few more roaches) and loading up our 2 vehicles with our luggage we left at 4:00am and drove 5 hours to come back home.After It was all said and done I believe we were in the room for less than 12 hours and at least 3 of those were us bringing our stuff in and loading it out. We will never stay at this property again or recommend it to anyone. I will say that Rameca the shift supervisor had AMAZING customer service, she tried really hard to make sure we got started off on the right foot, she responded amazingly to the situation by promptly issuing a full refund.

Positive: Location Negative: They were out of coffee and never brought any to our room upon requests and the lady at the front desk had a very bad attitude when we went downstairs to ask.

So far our trip isn’t going as planned.Day 1 here & we’ve noticed that the sheets are dirty. The furniture is also dirty and nasty looking. I have also spent the past 3 hours waiting for police to show up considering someone is throwing glass bottles into the outside pool area. Whoever even threw the balcony table into the pool and also threw some sort of metal pan. I called front desk and they said they were on it. Haven’t even cleaned up the mess in the past 3 hours. No police have even shown up. I also caught the sounds of whoever throwing the glass bottles off the balcony on video. Few days left and I hope it all turns around. So far not good though.

I went there for my bachelorette party with my ladies.... The room was okay but they had bugs... The bag guys was great they need to get a raise... The front desk service sucks. I dont understand how you overbook in rooms and then charge your guests for parking because you over booked...

The resort needs updates as it is very dated. Luckily, our room was owned and operated thru someone on air bnb so it is renovated. The proximity to the beach is great. The resort only has 1 beach access open which is very annoying when you should be able to walk from the pool to the beach. We had to walk from tower 3 to tower 1 then down the beach.

Rooms are nice but the staff are rude. My room door been mess up for days have not fix it yet. Came back to get in the gate. Could not get in. My girlfriend went inside it was a long line. So I called and explained and he said oh well and hung up. Walk in and got a attitude security walk me out without explaining to them what happen. Also house keeping has not been since I stayed. Dont waste your time with these people

If I could give it ten stars I would. The only thing I didnt like is no free breakfast and no coffee all day in the lobby. However, you can bring your own coffee, if you need more than the one packet provided in your room. The coffeemaker is a full sized nice one. The kitchens are fully equipped with a supply of dishes. Theres no stove but there is a fridge and microwave. Wine glasses and cork remover was a nice touch. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Very quiet. We got lucky I think we were the only ones on our level/floor lol.

This was a very nice condo. Large parking area. Ocean front balcony views. Me and the family rented a 3 bedroom condo that fit 7 of us without any issues. Room needed a few things done to it but was a nice condo. I would recommend this place.

Excellent beachfront location and helpful, friendly staff. The 18 pools outside and inside offer lots of options. A wonderful way to enjoy North Myrtle Beach.

This place is absolutely amazing!

First off, I will say that this place is no resort. It resembled more of a spring break retreat for lawless irresponsible parents and their many kids. The facility took no responsibility at all for how adults and kids alike acted when it came to their pools and hot tubs. They also took no action to keep people from firing off fireworks even at 3 in the morning.Our room in Tower 1 rm 407 itself was nice except for the King bed. That thing was literally the worst thing I ever slept on. For over 200 bucks a night, I fully expect to sleep on a pillowtop or memory foam mattress. This spring matress was damaged on the one side. The murphy bed was better than the King Bed.There was also the matter of an employee or a relative of an employee in a Red Dodge Challenger driving extremely dangerous on ocean blvd right in front of the facility doing burn outs and donuts. This car was seen parked in front of the middle tower the next morning. No one took any initiative to stop this from happening.I will not only not do business with this place ever again due to its refusal to maintain any order, but North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach for that matter have simply cowered to COVID and it now resembles a beach catering to Senior Citizens where most everything closes before 9pm and treats everyone like they are criminally infected.
