Great little executive course —prestige fairways and true greens!! Plays quick in about 2 hours. I recommend for anyone on a business trip. The GM John Hutton greeted us in the parking lot, but once we got our clubs the golf pro Michael Stewart yelled at us for taking the wrong golf cart. Other than dealing with the pro shop — great golf experience!!
The golf course is a great place to play! The staff was pleasant but there is a bias if you use GolfNow to play cheap. I would play here again.
New Restaurant on Premises. DINAS Open to the public.
I think it is a nice place, and would recommend it to my friends
Yesterday I reserved a tee time for two at Sabal Springs in North Fort Myers, FL. The weather looked promising at the time. Today the radar showed nothing but storms heading towards the course. We went anyways, hoping for the best. Four holes we got through before the thunder began rumbling overhead. We decided to leave as thunder turns into lightning and lightning tends to strike steel shafts (it would appear many in the industry don’t know this). Neither of us wanted to make tonight’s news as the idiot(s) who got struck by lightning playing golf in the front end of a nasty storm. Moreover, neither of us wanted to get struck by lightning. As rational people, we requested a voucher for another day, not a refund. The pro shop manager’s reply was that the weather was not severe enough to shut down the course. He remained adamant even after expressing our concerns of the thunder directly overhead. He clearly was a stubborn old fool who was painfully incapable of making responsible decisions. It was only after we brought potential legal matters into the mix that he made a phone call higher up, who conveniently didn’t answer.I had enough of him. I quit wasting my time with him and immediately proceeded to GolfNow (The reservation service). A younger gentleman by the name of Josh answered. I explained the situation and he put me on hold to contact the pro shop. After just a few moments, he returned and reiterated the same load of nonsense we had already heard, word for word. This time, lies were involved.Josh explained to me that nothing could be done unless it was storming outside. He said that when he talked to the pro shop manager, it was explained to him that there was no rain outside. I was standing under an overpass where it was raining just five feet in front of me. Josh didn’t seem concerned that the manager had lied to him. He eventually got to explaining that Sabal Springs was a customer and they had to serve them... Please explain to me what I am then!I hung up. When confronting the pro shop manager about the lie with it raining and thundering outside, he told us in other words that he was the only one qualified to determine hazardous weather and that we were welcome to continue playing or wait until the weather “really got bad”.We left infuriated. I expect someone on GolfNow’s end to remedy this situation. My group of friends do a lot of business using your services and this experience has nothing but sour. Josh made it clear that you have no problem endorsing scamming activities (which is exactly what this is). I hope that he is just an incompetent employee and this is not the way you conduct business. I would prefer not to close my account and discontinue doing business.I have a picture of the course and screenshot of radar at the time of the dispute in question. Please contact me with your proposal to hopefully resolve this matter. This act of negligence for human safety cannot go ignored and I intend not to let it. Again, we have enjoyed using golfnows services and would prefer to continue doing so.
