Its good for the price its a little tight, but its still always fun to golf when its low key no pressure
We made a group reservation for an 8:30 tee time and so many people were scheduled at the same time we were rushing through and offered for everyone to play through. Then the woman from the office was curt and accused us of holding people up on purpose. Why would you schedule so many people at the same time then accuse us of holding them up! Very rude. First time and last time to play there.
I love family owned business that make you feel welcomed and take pride in everything they do. Such a fun course that is perfect for the whole family!
Everyone is super nice and helpful here, great place good prices
I left a Nike pitching wedge ($250) left handed club on the course. And someone called me and told me to come back and get it. A few months later I called to go and get my club and they said they do not have it. They either sold it or gave it to someone else. Unreal..... this is the worst golf course/Pro shop in Florida.
Great course. Great staff. Challenging. Accuracy is important.
Decent setup for the driving range. Cant really hit a driver. Great place for swing tuneup.
Good affordable golf. Course is a bit dangerous. I was hit by a ball. But still going.
Good local course to hit balls and play for the money. Surprisingly inexpensive and even though its a short course, youre able to hit all the shots. Great course for beginners too. Took my son to hit balls for the first time there.
We play El Rio every time we come to North Fort Myers, the course although short is very challenging and the staff, Steve especially, very friendly and helpful. We play three times a week for the month of January and look forward to next year.John & Wendy Woodward (UK)
Priced reasonably. Course is well maintained. Perfect for playing your short game
Course was in nice shape. Couple of bad spots on some of the greens. Mostly used 5 iron through sand wedge. Couple of par 4s
I used the driving range. Nice looking course. I will definitely go back and try it out. Great staff. An update. Played the course. What fun. Short yes but challenging. Nicely done and well maintained. Great value for you dollar. Great staff.I am now a regular. Meet lots of nice people.
Nice course, short mostly par 3 and 4s but well kept and well priced!!
Perfect for beginners. Great staff
Great place to enhance your golf game
Short and easy course, but not in too good condition. Compared to other playgrounds around it is poorly maintained, the price does not match the quality.
Good course, reasonable price. Fun course.
Staff is lazy. My husband left his costa sunglasses in the golf cart and called right away with the cart number. The guy said they weren’t in there so we quickly turned around and went back and there they were still in the cart. So rude. And we had our kids with us- a 6 year old and 11 year old. We only wanted to play 9 holes but he charged us for all 18 and made us pay for both kids. Most other places would allow either the 9 holes or at the very least not charge for the kids. We won’t be back.
Good time always....
Great course if you getting back into the game! Great staff and great prices
El Rio is a nice, short course for the average golfer. Not fancy, but a great little course to hit the ball.
Greens are in good shape, great weather, whats not to like!
Small executive course, slow pace, fairways in ok condition with greens in good condition
Nicely maintained executive course. Nice for a quick round to work on your short game. But so many 170+ - holes.
Nice course without a lot of frills. Satellite bathroom was scary - pee everywhere and no hand sanitizer. Not much of a pro shop or food. Great course if you want to practice your chipping.
Its Amazing and its the first place i have played golf in general the people that work there are very nice too
A compact course with good challenges
Fun executive course with some very challenging holes. Two great ladies leagues play every Wed and/or Fri at 8:30 am.
Played 1st time, from Canada, great time, paired up with Hal and Chris awesome people and very friendly staff, if you get a chance PLAY Ill be back
Short course, but tons of fun!
Executive course. Conditions could be better. Can have slow play.
I havent been to the golf part of this place but I have a few friends that live here and it looks really nice.
Best golf ever
I am a PGA Professional and was visiting the area. I turned up and was treated very kind. thanks for that! We played 18 holes and in short just really enjoyed the round! Is the course in top shape? No, but the course itself is so beautifully setup with mostly Par 3s. Some are listed as Par 4, just make them a Par 3 and you really have plenty of difficulty. It was just a really enjoyable round and I can recommend it to all golfers who wish to have a good time without having to hit a Driver. thanks again to everybody at the club, your doing a great job for our sport! I am sure, club golfers with a higher Handicap truly appreciate a club that makes golf fun for them too instead of making them suffering.
The entire staff was very friendly and the course is in great shape considering the lack of rain during Floridas dry season. Greens ran a little slow today due to new growth created by some recent rain but are in great condition. If you are looking to improve your short game stop by & play a round on a fun track.
Great executive course. In good condition and fun to play. We will definitely be back.
My son and I have played here for going on 4 years. The course is always in good shape and the staff is top notch. Very family friendly and perfect for beginners. Not to mention great prices. Do yourself a favor and get out and play golf.
Short par three course with greens that have a ton of sand on them. Put once pick it up move to next hole dont think I will go back
Decent course, average at best. Price doesnt really feel worth it after you finish.
This was a nice course to play Really quick. Some of the greens, werent taken care of very well but for the price I guess you get what you pay for. I would go back though.
Nice short distance course with awesome Florida weather
Great place to play especially if youre beginning your golf career! I have good memories at El Rio! I highly recommend this course to anyone learning to play the game of golf! The staff is very helpful and friendly! El rio!!!!
Had a good day playing golf with my son
Great course. Must visit when in the area!
Nice course! Prices are reasonable. After 3 pm, only $18, for unlimited golf!
Very good. Very forgiving. We will play again prior to returning home to Canada.
Great place for the beginner golfer, or if you are working on your short game for the price its worth it.. NOT A LONG BALLER COURSE!
Good small course and nice employees
Fairways and greens are in good shape considering the lack of rain. The distances msrked at the tee boxes are all wrong. Please redo those.
I played here one Tuesday morning with a bunch of guys (28) from the local area. It was a modified shotgun start to accommodate the the group. The course was in good shape (early March 2015) I enjoyed the golf and the company. I would play there again.
Great course! Prices are exceptionally low especially in summer but the service is top notch. I can only recommend this course.
Not worth half the price the golf course is not ready to go off on
My visit at El Rio was a wonderful thing its a great Golf Course enjoy working here and the course is an absolutely gorgeous shape
I havent been there..was across the street at Dollar General
Fun beginners course, courteous staff but a bit over priced.
Fun and tricky golf course. Nice condition.
A good executive course, decent shape.
Nice course. Plenty challenging. Fair price.
Cute place, great grounds.. Club house offered only snacks.. ok
Nice place to golf in summer. Not so busy.
Tee boxes and fairways in bad shape.. with all the rain we have had we were surprised how bad the course looked...no oversite on course... bad players can continue hitting multiple times... for a couple of extra dollars you can go to a real 18 hole course and have fun! would not recommend this course...
Nice clean, challenging executive golf course. Very reasonable in price.
Nice driving range
Vers, very good.
Goid clean fun.
Small course, better rates available elsewhere. Not likely to return.
Great driving range and a nice par 3 course
I have played El Rio a dozen or more times. What it is: 18 holes of decent just-for-fun golf for a modest price. Long enough to get out the heavy lumber a few times, but short enough to keep you out of too much trouble. Get a hotdog and a beer at the turn. Tell a few jokes with the guys in the clubhouse. What it is not: It is not a PGA tour championship course with bentgrass fairways and majestic par 5s. Do not expect lobster bisque and steak. Nobody here is pretentious or phony.I will certainly go back again.
Fun course greens kinda rough
Course is rough but good for price
LousyIf the course was kept up it might be halfway decent. The greens are terrible brown and patchy. The fairways are terrible big patches of sedge all over the place. Price is high for such poor condition. I will never go back.
Cool driving range cheap too great landscape
Very narrow executive course with bumpy greens. Overpriced.
The course was in decent shape
Low cost.. you get what you pay for
Great little executive course!
Friendly staff,nice course
Reasonable, short course
Beautiful place
Short and sweet
Rude course manager
Short course
Love that place
Short course, allows the use of most of your clubs. Will play again.
Very slow moving, not the best shape
Small course with narrow fairways back and forth holes, have to pay attention for flying golf balls!!!
Golf???
Its a small par 3 executive course. As a local, I try not to golf during season when the prices are higher ($30), but during the summer its only $15, and thats a deal.
Course is OK
This place is like a mega fart; it stinks.
