This place is truly beautiful. But there isnt much lakefront access. Also, the playground has a beehive or wasp nest in it and looks like it has mold growing on it...But you know COVID so....

If your a dog owner like me then your dog would definitely love this park. Lots of space to run and be free. Their are picnic tables, a play ground and a descent skate park. Soccer field and baseball field. You can also drive down to the lake and park your car while enjoying a nice view or a relaxing walk on the sand.

I drive down to the lake shore and watch the waves and sailboats peaceful and calming

Great place! Quiet, lots if places for parties and kids to play, and the lake makes a gorgeous background.

Just a little spot by the lake, access to walk to the water, a small wood deck that was for some reason blocked off, and a modest playground area

This park is very serene and peaceful. Access to Lake Michigan is right up a curved road that cuts through the park. I enjoy going there because it is very serene and peaceful. I honestly can’t wait to go during the summer.

I saw a guy flossing his teeth here so now I call it Floss park

It is North Chicagos hidden gem on lakefront!

Foss Park & Beach was dedicated after Sen. George Edmund Foss (1900-1911) who secured the Great Lakes Naval Training Center here in Lake Bluff IL.This native sand beach area is left on its own to naturally grow with grasses & trees along its high water mark. Metal signs warning not to swim are placed every 50 feet. The swimming area is wonderful with sandy bottom & no rocks until the north area line. Every Sept we do a beach clean-up of washed up trash which is park of the Great Lakes Adopt-a-beach day.
