I was brought here for my 21st birthday and not only did I receive a complimentary 1st alcoholic drink. I also got 10 percent off an hour of throwing. They had fun games and gave great instructions for new goers like me. I truly felt welcome and when I bought a Tshirt I was sent home with free goodies like stickers and glasses. They were all so nice and warm. Wholeheartedly recommend going.

We have tried others in the area, but this place is top notch. The atmosphere is exactly our style. John welcomes our family with open arms and the staff takes their time to make sure our needs are met and we have a wonderful experience. This has become a favorite date night for the family or even just me and the wife.

This place is amazing!! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They know their stuff, about axe throwing, mead, beer, everything. I was really intimidated but the coaches helped me greatly! Super fun and the selection of drinks is amazing. We bought a lot to go as well. We did the hour and added another half hour. 10/10 would recommend.

Took my bf for our anniversary. So glad! The staff was extremely helpful. I was very shy about throwing but within ten minutes Jordan had me out-throwing my bf. Wonderful drink selections. The owner was very friendly and atmosphere was very warm.

First time going and the staff made us feel so welcome especially since we had our daughter(who is one) with us. They have an amazing beer selection and they know how to find the right beer just for you. Im upset that a 5 is the highest rating i can give them. Would recommend to anyone especially parents who want to have fun but their kids are too young. We will be back.

Had a part of a friend bachelors party here and we had a great time! The staff was very friendly and they had a large assortment of beers for everyone to enjoy. The axe throwing was unique in that they had multiple games you could play as the target was a projection.

Had a great time watching the guys throw axes at Blade & Bull in Park Circle area of N. Charleston. Staff was nice and helpful getting them going. They had a bar and then seating in the axe throwing area to watch your group as well. Closed toe shoes are a must and you pay by the hour. Great activity on a rainy afternoon in Charleston.

Visited in Jan-This place is hands down one of the coolest locations in Charleston!We stopped by because they offered a cider we love from Asheville and fell in love with The Bearded Ax!!Huge selection of bottled and canned beers/ciders.We also had a wonderful time chatting with the owner and trying some new items for the menu!Looking forward to visiting again and actually throwing an axe!

We had a great time for a couples night out at Blade and Vull. It was a fun,safe environment with a lot of beer choices. Everyone was very nice and professional. They coach you and make sure you have a great time.

Sean and Isen are super nice! They have a great drink selection and I really appreciate their tips, conversation, and take on safety & quickly/actively putting a stop to rough housing. Open atmosphere, employees willing to help and coach: Mitch worked in depth with my technique to find what worked best. Beers were good, cold, and readily available. Good music, good beer, good fun, good location, not much more one could want!

First time axe throwing. The coach was extremely helpful and offered a lot of guidance and detailed instructions. The hour flew by quickly, this was a perfect activity on a rainy day with family from out of town. Everyone loved it.

Jess is the best! She gave awesome recommendations on beer and excellent teacher for axe throwing! She helped my wife feel comfortable and safe for axe throwing which she was afraid to do! A few beers in and she was hitting the bullseye!!

What a great time!! The bartenders were so knowledgeable and friendly. The coaches at the throwing session were both fun and patient. A delightful bonus was the local mead! When you order one, it comes in an authentic Viking horn. A great date night and I am totally going to suggest this place a for work event, since I found out they do private party. True story: more relaxing than yoga.

My husband and I came here on a date night, and we had a fabulous time! We’d never tried axe throwing so we were both complete novices. Yet, thanks to the tips from employee Jessica, he and I were both hitting the wooden target within a few minutes. The employees were all friendly and helpful, and put us at ease with this brand new activity. We will definitely be back, and we will bring friends with us next time!

Great roomy place with attentive, patient workers who arent overbearing. It was just as much fun learning and chatting with them as it was actually throwing the axes. The ambience was excellent too, awesome music and decor! Ill be coming back in the future for sure, maybe even on my own to really get the finesse I need to destroy my friends in competition.

Fantastically informative and incredibly attentive staff! We came in as a group for a friends birthday celebration on a Sunday afternoon, and although a lot of Park Circle businesses close early [thereby inconveniencing anybody who might want to step out for coffee or snacks], the people at Blade & Bull attended to our needs and treated us to a great time! Great drinks, friendly staff, & awesome music to throw axes by!

So much fun! This is the first time I have ever gone axe throwing and was nervous. The staff is so helpful and they go through a great training with everyone. I learned quickly and we had so much fun! Great staff and fun environment. Cant wait to come back!

Went there with my lady for Valentines day beer/Mead/wine tasting. The entire event was $106. They advertised 4 wines 4 beers and 4 meads. Also that there would be charcuterie boards. The only thing provided was the 4 wines just sips and a tiny little Mead or beer float. Even confronted the manager about the event and they felt it was fair. Thats like paying for a complete brake job and they only service one wheel. Will never again be returning to the blade and bullsh!t. Save yourself the time go to the rusty bull for better beer, food, and atmosphere. Hopefully this place sinks fast after the novelty wears off.

Aidan was a great guide for our bachelor party. We did a two hour session and had a great time trying out different games and different axe throwing techniques. I highly recommend Blade & Bull- we had an excellent experience.

Went for a work happy hour, was a great experience first time axe throwing! Employees were super nice and friendly, waiver and check-in process is simple. Booking is available online if you are worried about them being busy. Clean and comfortable waiting and bar area out front as well as axe throwing section in the back.
