They do a great job of teaching you how to start using an ax and its surprisingly fun to throw an ax at a big target on the wall and hear it thunk into the wood. Thanks for the great time!

I always stay across the street when I come to town for work. Decided to check the place out since it was attached to the Rusty Bull. It was a great time throwing some axes and drinking a few beers. The guys working were awesome in teaching us the right methods for throwing and checking up on us as we practiced. Will come back every time I come to town to have some drinks and relieve from stress by throwing some axes. They even said they will start doing competitions in the future.

Great atmosphere! The instructor was friendly and showed us proper techniques to throw the axe for better results. Would definitely go again!

The facility was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, informative and knowledgeable regarding throwing options and safety. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating my birthday throwing axes and definitely plan to come back!

I spoke with Derek on the phone and he was super helpful! I had a large party and he helped me get situated with reserving stalls and answered all my questions. Had a great time and the brewery had a great option when it comes to beers.

Hell of a good time. Friendly and outgoing staff, willing and eager to help when you need or just sit back when you dont. Atmosphere was nothing but positive vibes. Diverse crowd. After we were done throwing some axes, we grabbed some ale and danced to the live band. They had a fantastic food truck as well. Fun fun girls night out. Next time were bringing everyone, including the kids.

Great place! The staff there were super nice and helpful. It is attached to the Rusty Bull Brewery where you can walk back and forth and order beer/food whenever you want. They also offer discounts for service men/women and first responders!

Fantastic time, can easily get in 6 games in an hour. Easy to do if you are used to throwing things.

Awesome Experience!I visited here from out of town. I have been at Axe throwing businesses before but these folks are really a cut above. Despite only having been open for 3 weeks these folks have been on point!They are co-located with Rusty Bull Brewing which has beer of course and some munchies. The two businesses work well together and when things are slow the Brewery will bring beer to your lane!Chucktown has a very cool vibe and decor that you see in most of the higher end axe throwing venues. It has a seating area for folks that are waiting, they have a competition regular lane set as well as single lanes that speeds up the axe throwing because you dont have to wait for the person next to you to finish throwing to go get your axe.They also have some lanes that use projectors to project the target on the wall which allows you to do custom targets etc for unique party events etc. You dont need an axe - they have them. You need to wear close toed shoes, but If you forget, dont worry, they have Crocks there that you can borrow! They even have a big chair as a photo prop that helps round out your experience and memories!I met the owner and one of the mangers. Just super easy going folks and a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommended!!!! Very cheap date night not to mention a whole lot of fun!!!!!!!!

This is a brand new business in Charleston right next to Rusty Bull Beer and its amazing! I just came on opening weekend to try out axe throwing for the first time and I loved it! The instructors were great, very personable and knowledgeable. Its a good price and a great activity to do with a group of friends. The instructors are more than happy to spend more time with you if you need extra help. You can walk right between the brewery and the axe throwing and the bar tenders will even serve you beer will youre axing ! Awesome activity to do with friends, family, or even co workers. Highly suggested! Dogs are welcome as the brewery is dog friendly (at least in the brewery which is attached). Children 13 and up are allowed with adults present to supervise. WEAR CLOSED TOED SHOES!

I’ve lost 30 pounds since I started throwing axes at Chucktown Axe Throwing, all while drinking the delicious nectar of the gods provided by Rusty Bull. This place is truly amazing! It brought my family back together! My small heart and right bicep has grown three sizes. I’ve found a new philosophy for life. Thanks Chucktown Axe Throwing!

BEST axe bar in the game!!! The music is on point so is the awesome club scene lighting. Wasn’t just your usual basic axe throwing lanes. Perfect for date night. Also, the manager Derek was awesome and showed us some cool trick shots haha can’t wait to come back!

I was hesitant to throw. But the guy explained everything and I got ahold of it fairly quickly! My cousin and I both loved it and had so much fun! The atmosphere was amazing! Will definitely go back and definitely will recommend!

I really like it. We hosted our staff there before they opened, and we had a blast. Beer availability from Rusty Bull, with food provided by food trucks on busy days.

My friends and I had such a great time at Chucktown! All of the staff was amazing and helpful. The beer is good and the guys who work there are even better :) We came here for a friends birthday and we will definitely be back again!

This was my first time axe throwing and even though I was awful the folks here made me feel comfortable and welcome! I wasn’t expecting to have as much fun as I did!

So much fun to do as a date or with a group of friends! Went here when they first opened and everyone in our group had a blast -- being attached to a brewery doesnt hurt either! I definitely recommend this place to everyone. They even have a digital projector onto the targets so you can throw axes at pictures of your mortal enemies (or your exes) if you want hahaha!

I cannot even begin to explain how fun it is when the axe goes into the boards for the first time. The inner cave man comes out and it feels like you were meant to do this. Even if the axe never hits a target. Amazing space and a perfect location next to Rusty Bull Brewery. The owners will help guide you on how to be safe and how to throw. No matter where your from ya gotta do it! Grab a beer throw an axe!
