Nice and simple park for kids. It is adjacent to the swimming pool and near the HS. The swings are good for kids, but you need to help smaller kids get on them. My boys loved the tall slide. This is more geared to elementary to older kids than toddlers. It is nice and shaded with a parking lot right beside the playsets. This is nice as one could sit in their car if they wanted. They have port a Johns. Decent amount of green space and they have two volleyball nets. Also a skateboard/BMX bike park.

Nice air conditioned picnic shelter available for rent by North Canton city residents. The entire building can be rented or just half. Each half has a refrigerator, stove, sink and large clean restrooms.

Attended a birthday party for my sister-in-law in the community center at Dogwood Park. It was a pretty big area for a party. We were able to bring in a karaoke set. We had plenty of food, and the cooking area was perfect. The fridge had plenty of room. More than enough tables and chairs inside. The kids were able to run right onto the playground. The whole family had a great time, singing, dancing, and playing games! The people to contact to rent the place were super nice and accommodating!

Park Shelter is clean, comfortable, with all the needed amenities; such as, stove fridge, lots table and chairs available. Park staff was kind and informative. Would recommend and return again.

We use the community room often. Great for mid sized family, congregation and business events. Parking is adequate.

This park brings back so many memories back when my children were little. This city is family oriented & Dogwood Park is a great place to take little ones.

Nice park, although a little uneasy taking me kids to skateboard because of the strange man in his 20’s that hangs around all of the kids and bothering folks all day..wondering if this will ever be addressed?

Quiet little park

Nice hall to have family gatherings or parties of any kind. They also provide a sink, stove and refrigerator for a reasonable price.

I did like this park until my window was busted out. It seems it was done for just kicks, nothing was stolen thankfully, and kudos to North Canton Police Department they responded quickly and were very helpful in a stressful situation.

The city of North Canton needs to go about updating everything here. Its the same stuff for the past twenty years. Beautiful area and pool right across the street. A lot of younger people in the area tend to hang out here and the one village idiot named Joe as well.

While Price Park is far and away the most-visited in North Canton, Dogwood Park is every bit as great and so much quieter. My favorite park in town, and always has been. Their shelter is fantastic as well, but youll have to rent it well in advance, due to how popular it is!

I went to the skatepark here and it was ok. There were some rude kids though.

I love the different outdoor activities you can do here. Skate boarding, basketball, tennis, and swimming.

This is such a good family fun place. You can bring your dog. There is a play place. You can play volleyball, basketball, swim, and ride you your bike at the skate park.

Great neighborhood swimming. A little crowded during the summer but what place isnt. Great family afternoon. Nicely maintained facility. Good place to bring younger kids. There are a lot of people who by summer passes and use them all summer. Plenty of lifeguards to keep everyone safe.

To many teenagers

Dogwood Park is a nice little park to bring kids or just sit in the shade and enjoy a nice day. Theres a nice playground, some ball fields, and during the summer Dogwood pool is open. If youre a Pokémon Go player, Dogwood park has a couple of gyms and a handful of Pokéstops.

Still a nice place to go since I was a kid.

Great our family had great time very clean and pool warm. Lots of lifeguards that were really good kept their eyes out on everything going on really impressed with them will definitely go back

Went to a party there. Nice building in a rustic setting.Photo is of the swimming facility, which I did not take nor post, and is separate from the building where I attended a private baby shower.They are managed separately and both come with charges or fees to rent or use. However, they are located on the same side of the street.

This is a nicely maintained park with shade provided by tall oak trees. Theres a small playground with swings and slides for smaller kids and a skate park for bigger kids and young adults.

As a city park, its fine. It rises far above the rest when you factor in the newly remodeled city pool and an indoor facility capable of holding parties and reunions.

We got a family pass to the park this summer newly renovated pool great place for the family to hang out love it.

Park is small, but it does have a pool and a small skatepark nearby. Should you be a student at the high school, it would be easier to be picked up here.

Took my kids there for the first time today. Nice pool, very clean. The problem is the ridiculous swimming test that they make kids take in order to swim in the deep end. My son is 12. He is taller then me and has been swimming literally his entire life. So while he swam across the pool in less then 30 seconds without breaking a sweat, the life guard said she could not pass him because she felt his arms did not come out of the water far enough when he took a breath, that his form was not perfect. I understand wanting to make sure that a child can hold their own while swimming, I appreciate that. But to require kids to pass a test that 95% of adults could not pass if asked is ridiculous. To nit-pick their form to the point of... well you could not be a professional swimmer so you cant jump off the diving board... is absurd. Two other families complained as well, one of which left because one of their kids (who clearly could swim) did not pass because he was not kicking his feet fast enough. I mean... what?!?!? My son could not even go down the rinky dink little slide because he did not have a green band without me standing at the bottom of it... he could touch at the bottom of the slide! The water came up no higher then his chest! We will not be going back. You charge $9 a person and then dont let kids that can obviously swim swim where they want. We will go to clear water where they actually let kids that know how to swim... ya know... swim!

This park has been the same for about a quarter of a century, but it works. Its close, clean, and small enough that getting lost in it is a trick.
