Boeckh Park

This park runs along the Savannah river in Augusta, GA.It is serene with beautiful views and clean. There are many curb cuts for wheelchairs and strollers. There were people walking, running, chatting on the benches, picnicking and taking in the view.The curb cuts also work for the skaters and skateboarders. The skaters and boarders shared the sidewalks politely. All the dogs we saw being walked were on leashes and well controlled. The park must have rules posted that we did not see, but that all the people were obeying.A lovely afternoon.

Wonderful little green oasis by the Savannah River in Hammond’s Ferry, North Augusta SC. Walk, sun bathe, ride your bike, visit with friends, or enjoy the river views then take a short stroll to Manuel’s or Divino’s for a great meal. The Halloween decorations were fun this year!

Super pretty. Nice long path. Great for dog walking. Lots of other dogs though and runners.

Very stunning scenery, picture perfect. The environment is clean, high maintained, and friendly. Truly enjoyed the shops and restaurants!

So beautiful and relaxing. Had a picnic, listened to music, and sipped some wine till the sun went down.

Lake Olmstead trail head. Not a real park. Great walking trails near the river and canal. Clean bathrooms covered area with 2 picknick tables. Great for walking or biking.

Beautiful place to take pictures, walk, or ride a bicycle. Looks like something from a movies set.

Very nice stretch of riverfront path. When I went, I think part was blocked or under construction, so it wasnt a long stretch of path. Also, the park is not too wide - if youre looking for wide open space for frisbee or the like, then you might look elsewhere.

Nature Walk going to the Park on Savannah River and you might find an exotic tree flower.

This park is located within a residential neighborhood and does not have any equipment for kids to play on. It is a small, open grass area where you can play catch or just sit and relax. There is a covered pavilion but there is no grill.

This is a beautiful park down by the Savannah River, perfect for family portrait sessions.

A beautiful place to relax on the greenway. There is a firepit, fireplace & boat dock. People had hammocks set up in the trees when I was there. I really like this part of the greenway, Hammonds Ferry is an impressive neighborhood to walk as well. Very picturesque area with a view of the river and 13th street bridge.

Amazing trail

Peaceful, Serene and calming little piece of heaven

This is part of the North Augusta Greenway. This is an 11 mile round trip from downtown North Augusta to the turn around which is a parking lot just North of I-20. The ride is uphill to the turn around point. It is a paved pathway for the entire route. This uphill grade is not much of a challenge and transverses beautiful shaded woods and residential areas.
