Course is in great shape and its design is so smart. On shorter Par 4s youre forced with where to put your tee shot and on the standard length holes youre challenged with a smaller undulating green tyically protected by one well placed bunker. Its a great property, staff is friendly and pro shop has great deals too. Will be back!

A great golf course with challenging holes and a nice clubhouse. The prices are very reasonable for the level and quality of this track as well!

What a track and boy those Donnie Ross greens were a test! I was really impressed with JGC. Played on a beautiful Monday morning with a couple members. Really great dudes. Greens and fairways were in immaculate condition. Some tee boxes need some loving but other that those, it was an almost perfect day.

Great course designed by a great architect. However the bathrooms are not up to par with Covid times. Would come back again, with my own sanitizer and a urinal as I would not want to use the bathroom! Course gets a 5 out of 5, facilities 0 out of 5.

I am a Senior in my late 60s and have a hard time walking . I was told when we came around to the back nine that I could not go out on the course with the cart it was cart path only. I told the man that I then needed a handicap flag that I couldnt walk across like that . His response was we dont have them and the superintendent said no you have to walk across to your ball. So basically I sat in the cart and only played a couple of holes in the back . So obviously they dont want to accommodate the handicap . So I would not go back there to play again .

Rude golfers ruin the neighborhood. Most golfers are nice but the course has no rules about how to respect those who live off the golf course - no recourse when rude golfers harass residents.

Ch
Review №20

The best public course I have played in the area. I heard that a few years back, they came into a multi-million dollar windfall. They were trying to decide whether to invest in a new clubhouse, or the course. They wisely chose the latter.

Br
Review №21

1st time playing Jeffersonville and found it to be in very good condition as compared to other public courses within 20 miles. There was not much staff for Memorial Day - just the clubhouse attendant and starter who didnt say much. The course is definetely Donald Ross - perfectly carved out of a square parcel of land with balance among the 18 holes. Some short par 4s, some very LONG and uphill, 3 long par 3s and 1 short one.The way that the fairways and greens naturally follows the cut out of the land (woods, waterways, etc.) is spot-on. the greens are undulating and challenging. Many have back to front sloping to be cautious with your approach shots.Playing from the last tees was about 6450 yards - plenty of length for a 17 hcp such as muself, but a healthy challenge at that.I was mostly impressed with the conditions of the turf, although the greens were still not receptive (no ball marks).A point of note (during COVID) - there are NO HOLE SIGNS indicating hole #. My group got lost after #11 and had to make them up at the end. There are no arrows or anything telling you where to go. Also - no rangers on the course to help out.#2 green is being repaired so there is a temporary green 210 yds away (supposed to be a par 4).aside from that, i would come back and play again.

Great course at a great rate. A Donald Ross design where the superintendent has done a great job cleaning it up over the last few years.Biggest downsides: long rounds are common. Place is busy and could stand to raise rates and spread out tee times. Also, this is a challenging course (check the slope rating of 135 from the mens tees).

Terribly managed golf course, ranger let 8 somes tee off on hole 1. Wasn’t able to tee off until 25 minutes after my groups scheduled tee time, and played 7 holes in about 2 and a half hours. Ranger also had no issues with people driving around the golf course that didn’t have clubs in the cart and were just drinking and disrespecting the course. Save yourself the headache.

Great Donald Ross designed (1931) public course owned by the city of West Norriton (Restored in 2000). The course is beautiful and always in great shape. A number of very challenging holes. A number of holes where you cannot see the green. A number of elevated greens surrounded by bunkers which adds to the level of difficulty. A number of holes with wife open fairways where you can let it rip. A slope of 140 (Very, very difficult.) from the White Tees.A big drawback which is often a factor into my decision to play or not play the course is the 19th hole/restaurant (Sandwiches, finger food and beer.) It, as well as the Pro Shop, is essentially a hole in the wall and epitomizes the facilities as a whole. The physical plant is an embarrassment. Probably circa 1931.The club suffers greatly in comparison to its near neighbors, Shannodell and Westover. Both of which have beautiful facilities, a big factor in the determining where to play. (The courses themselves are certainly a factor as well. Increasing level of difficulty: Westover, Shannondell and Jeffersonville.) The City of West Norriton should upgrade the facilities. Im certain the return on their investment would be immediate. Both Shannodell and Westover have a thriving banquet and non golf related restaurant and bar business. I frequent both not to play golf but to enjoy the ambience of their bar and restaurant. In short, love the course (4-5 Stars). Hate the facilities (1 Star).

So this is a 130 slope course, 65.5 expected for a scratch golfer. A solid 90 for a bogey game. That is one big disparity and playing here made it all make sense. If you are a bogey golfer (at my best) this course will test you well.A Donald Ross design with plenty of gut busting creeks hidden in the drive and approach zones. Undulating fast trick greens that will make you 4 putt. Basically this is a course for playing at a high level.Very professional starter and the pro shop has good ball deals (none for Titleist) and rentals. The bar and clubhouse is basic and while nice for drinking not as nice as it should be. Gas carts and reasonably well maintained greens and fairways. The cartpath and teeboxes are beat to hell though. This is an area served by one of the wealthiest average household rankings in the Delaware Valley, so it is a value for them but a bit sparse for the price. Perfect for a league or serious after work play. Not a good spot for newbies. No 9 hole play. Some beautiful holes with great natural features make it worth time. Long play with several 400 and 500 yard holes at mid tee. No portapotties on the course when i played.Has putting and chip practice, no drive. Stay on cart path most of the ride. Probably better to walk. Overall a serious players course that will show you up if you arent skilled. So get better and keep playing!

Course is good overall but the people that work there are absolutely horrible and rude.My 3-some arrived 5 minutes late and we were put behind 4 women. Starter said (rudely) If we werent late we could have gotten ahead of them. Then one of the woman, left the 1st tee to go to the bathroom. At that point we could have been placed ahead of them but NO, starter made us wait until she came back! Then the grounds crew was cutting the lawn and while teeing off almost ran us over! Didnt have the courtesy to stop his mower until we teed off.Same lawn cutter RUDELY told us to move our carts so he could cut near the cart path while we were putting on the 18th green.WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT GO BACK! That place needs an attitude adjustment.
