Nice spacious waterpark. Not to big were youll lose your child. Lifeguards are aware of the swimmers especially children. If you arrive before 5pm the price is $8 per person after 5pm the price is $5 per person. They do accept credit cards and food is available for a reasonable price. Restrooms are present and parking is free

Definitely not toddler friendly, I have adventurous boys, they like to do more stuff than other kids their age, but my 1 & three year old could not go down a slide with a life jacket because it would scratch the slides, but they were aloud to go down the slide with no life jacket... my 3 year old also couldn’t jump off the diving board with a life jacket, he Could have done it with out one.... We could have just went to the FREE splash pad in Moore, Cause all we were aloud to do was play in the kiddie area.

Pretty fun place overall! Unfortunately the hours of operations on weekdays is pretty awful. They’re only open for four hours (1:00-5:00 pm)? Not bad if you’re a stay-at-home parent I guess. But if you have a normal day job then going on a week day is out of the question. The cost is reasonable, but considering you only get four hours to swim (if you stay from open to close) then that’s to be expected.Edit: I do highly recommend the season pass though. If you go more than 8 times then you start saving money than if you were to pay general admission.

For being a public pool this place is very clean, well maintained and managed. Lots of various water features from the younger ones to the older generation. Includes splash play for little ones, 2 tube slides, 1 multiple person large slide and traditional high/ low driving boards to name a few. Lap swimming is available during all swim hours.The price for a season pass is well worth the price. Happy Swimming!

The season pass is a great value! We much prefer Westwood over some of the larger congested water parks. We feel safe with our child and her friends there, the place is well organized and they offer a number of programs. Our daughter looks forward to the lifeguard program.

This is the best local water park I’ve ever seen. It’s a blast for all ages!

Great place for swim lessons and a day at the pool. 4 slides and diving boards. They were spraying disinfectant which was nice.

Should have went to a splash pad instead of paying to be confined to the kiddie area. My sons could not go down any slides or off the diving board with their life jackets on. The staff said the life jackets could scratch the slides but they could go down without one even though they cant swim. Sounds like they need to get their priorities straight. Wont be going back. Also the two big slides were closed because they didnt have any inner tubes. What kind of water park doesnt have inner tubes? If you have toddler age kids save yourself some money and go to the free splash pad in Moore. They have more activities for them there anyways.

What a great community pool! Features for kids of all ages, lots of seating, and a reasonably priced concession stand. A full day of fun without breaking the bank!

Hello. This is an awesome municipal water park. Its brand new and is a full day of fun for sure. Its very clean very nice helpful employees and all kinds Of fun stuff to do all day. You can have birthday parties or just Have a great time In each section of the park. They have an area for toddlers or little ones off to the side man this place is Great.

On a hot day, you just can’t beat Westwood. The park is incredible. Tons of stuff to do for all ages. They have 4 great water slides, a spacious pool, a lazy river, a great high dive platform, an aquatic jungle gym, and wonderful little pool that only goes to about a foot deep for the little ones.The prices are very reasonable, and there are plenty of lifeguards on duty at all times.

Better than expected. Fun for almost all ages. Rated it 4 of 5 because we can all improve.

The new and much needed updates to the Westwood pool have made a huge difference! I really like the new layout! They have added a lazy river and updated the childrens areas so they now have a shallow swim area as well as a big splash pad/climbing structure for the little ones. As before there is a lap pool, diving boards and a nice, general pool. They also have two twisty slides of a decent height and 3 or 4 shorter slides as well. At the times I have been there, the water has been crystal clear and clean and there have been adequate lifeguards present. The restrooms/changing areas are clean though they sometimes have that public-pool mustiness to them that is probably tough to avoid. There are small lockers available and you can also buy goggles, sunscreen, etc from the front gate. The Westwood pool has needed updating for quite some time. Its nice to see that it has finally gotten some attention and that the designers did such a nice job with it. Bravo!

Very very very VERY fun waterpark to take your kids . very nice lazy river very big pool and AWSOME water slides. if in the summer your kids are hot and board this is the place to take them. very cheep tickets for kids. but in the summer if u have went their with the kids and you and them loved it then bye a summer pass ! if u bye a summer pass this is the way it works you bring your pass to the park when you get to the gate show your pass to the person at the gate and then they will let you in ! done easy as a pie ! the summer pass lets you in for free all summer ! trust me you wont regret it ! thanks ! - sunshine

Went last week and got cercarial dermatitis, which is small red bumps all over my body caused by swimming in water contaminated with parasite. And supposedly they “clean” their pools. And no one wears their mask like they say they do not even the staff.

My kids and I really enjoy the new remodel! Weve been coming practically every day . The Lazy River will give you a real workout if you go against the current and the slides are always fun, of course!

Went there for my Sons 11th Birthday! Had a blast, I used to go when I was 11 its still just a fun as way back then!! More to do though, its a blast!!

The place is pretty decent. If you come in the late afternoon, could be a bit trashy, they probably just clean it at night and that is it, so if there were some messy patrons earlier, their trash is just going to be laying there. Their lifeguards and swimming teachers are really nice, so is there aquatic supervisor.

Life guards are really nice!

The water park has great attentive staff. I had witnessed a life guard notice a child in distress and get that child out of the water. The life guard then proceeded to make sure that the child did not go into the water with out a life jacket on. The new look is great and the slides as well as other things are just awesome! As a parent I applaud the life guard and think they deserve a raise!I will add that there are some hours that they get to capacity and you have to wait for people to come out. The season pass people get priority when getting in versus the day pass when they are at the capacity.Life Jackets: their biggest yellow jackets need the strap that the blue and green have. The yellow jackets needs to be super tight or it will ride up to the ears. I did read the review about the life jackets and I do think they should have made the exception since they did not have the proper ones that fit the little ones. But I have seen the little ones having the floaty type life jackets in the pool. And they have a kiddie pool where you can sit in the water while your little ones splash around. If you are sitting the water will just cover your legs.

They Charge $200 for an umbrella and a picnic table. Awesome water park...so clean. The staff was just so helpful with all the questions I asked. They have something for every age...from the toddlers to teens to the adults. My kiddos and I had a great time, and we just found out they do Friday night pool movies for $5.00 after 8pm. This will definitely be one of our summer spots! !!!

We went to an all adult pool party it was awesome, everyone was fluffy as expected we are in Oklahoma.

You get what you pay for. Its very affordable but the staff is rude. No where does it say that you cannot bring your childs own life jacket, so I did. The manager tracked me down like I was a criminal to make my child wear one of THEIR life jackets. Im fine with rules but 2 staff members saw me bring in the life jacket, they could have mentioned that to me when I walked in and been a little nicer about it. Another staff member was rude to my niece after she went down one of their family slides which they wouldnt allow more than 2 to go down and would not allow my son to wear THE life jacket to go down. So my son is supposed to have a possibility of drowning just to go down a slide?! Then in the kiddie area there was a random little girl thinking she was boss controlling all the kids going down the slide. My son said the little girl was mean... where were the staff members controlling that? I was going to say something but my son was already done, not wanting to play because the possibility of having this little girl be mean. It would be a nice place if the staff was nicer and the rules werent ridiculous.

Very disappointed in Darra/lifeguard. Her attitude is awful and she should not be working with kids. My child who has Adhd and is a lot to handle at times kicked a tube into the lazy river which is unacceptable and I was just about to get onto him and make him get it out and put it up because someone has to pick up after these kids. I work very hard at getting my kids to be respectful but this lifeguard took no time to yell and throw her hands up and be hateful to my child not knowing I was on the other side of the lazy river. I told her not to yell at my child that way and she responded with did you? I said I didnt have a chance. Then she said do you want me to whisper next time this little girl needs an attitude adjustment. I understand completely that these kids think they are running something and yelling to get their attention is completely different then being hateful and throwing your hands up at them. I was so disappointed in her actions, in all of the respectful lifeguards that we encountered while coming here she was absolutely disrespectful to my son and me. Im all for correcting bad behavior but there is a wrong way and a right way.

Westwood is a bright new star in Normans community. Situated next to the golf course and tennis courts, it is a great destination for the kids. Lazy river, diving, climbing wall, swim area, slides, and kiddie areas, snack bar all combined in one. Prices are great and parking is free.

The renovation was a huge success! The kids play areas are gated and very safe. There are two tube slides that empty out into a lazy river, diving area, climbing wall over a pool, monkey bars made out of ropes with Lily pads underneath, GIANT splash pad area, great snack bar, and clean showers/restrooms. Spent two hours here at a preview/opening night event. LOVED it. Cant wait to go back!

I have extremely mixed emotions about this park. As I go through the reviews, more of the lower rated ones complain of the same thing, which is the staff and manager.The park is very fun, and has plenty of things to do. The service on the other hand is below par.One day specifically, me and a few other of my friends were at the park. Around 3, we decided we would drive across the street and go to sonic, and come right back. We asked a kid handling the life jackets if we could do that, he marked our with a sharpie and said yes. We left our bags and clothes inside of the aquatic center, because we were guaranteed a spot back inside. Not to mention, everyone of us had season passes.We come back around ten minutes later, and the line is down the sidewalk. We walk up to the gate, and proceed to try and enter. Before we can get in, a young lady, (Im assuming the manager) Shut the gate in our faces and accused me and my friends of trying to sneak into the park.I pointed out that ALL of us had season passes, and that the worker dealing with the life jackets said the marks meant we could re enter. She continued to yell at us, telling us once we leave her park we cant re enter. She ALSO mentioned that the marks did not mean anything, once you leave you must pay to re enter. WE HAVE SEASON PASSES.the park wasFIVE HUNDRED PEOPLE OVER CAPACITYFIVE HUNDRED PEOPLE!!!We explained to her that our things were inside of the park. We also showed her my friends toe, which was bleeding from a large cut she had gotten earlier that day. The manager nodded saying shed go get bandaids, but instead left us at the gate, walked 10 feet away, and got on her phone. We waited around 30 minutes before eventually getting her attention. Finally, she let one of my friends into the park to get our things, but not without sending 2 people with him, and chewing us out for being dis respectful for demanding our things.I wouldnt have been upset if the park was simply over capacity and we couldnt re enter, but the thing was she neglected my friends now infected cut, treated us horribly, and made us beg for our belongings. I really wouldnt mind if she wouldve let my friend go get out stuff with 16,000 people if it meant we didnt have to beg for 30 minutes.

Great public pool

I work there but personally when I visit as a patron it is a lot of fun and I enjoy it very much! The food is quite amazing for a concession stand. Overall it is a great place to spend a day and hangout with friends and family... or just have some time to yourself for swimming!

My daughter and I went here with some friends of ours and we had a great afternoon. The prices are great and not an arm and a leg. Its even handicap friendly which I was very impressed with

I didnt like it because they wouldnt let me bring my daughters floaties in and she didnt enjoy her swim time because the floaties they have make her lay on her back. And she doesnt like being on her back good thing I have a pool at home smh.Update: response was rude and unnecessary.... I wont be back as I said in the post above... i have a pool at home . Why did i waist my money here only God knows...... the life guards and employees were rude anyways.

There is a lot of bang for your buck at Westwood Family Aquatic Center in Norman. I took my 3 grandkids ages almost 10 almost 5 and just turned 7. They all had a blast! Lots to do for all of their ages.

Lovely water park! Highly recommend! Really enjoy going with my 3 and 5 yr old granddaughters. Because theyre water babies, their only complaint is they want to go on the big slides. And my only suggestion is the diving area is taking up WAY too much swimming real estate. You need to move the rope over, too much unnecessary room allotted for diving. Thanks for providing a class act water park!

Westwood has been fun everytime me and the kiddos have gone.

Love this place! Has a lazy river, zero entry baby pool that goes up to 2 feet, bucket drop kids area with two slides, couple tube slides, a family slide, body slide, and regular pool area with a climbing wall, diving boards, and even a ramp entry that is nice. Seems nicer that the Station pool in Moore, but they are picky about using either puddle jumper floaties, or their own life jackets, and no other floatation devices.

Decent pools and activities HOWEVER the staff is horribly rude to everyone and their rules and signage are poorly communicated both on the website and at the center. We made the mistake of buying a summer pass for the summer to find out later that our 12 year old would be turned away when he showed up with friends. They seem to hardly know what’s going on and are RUDE when you ask questions.NORMAN YOU CAN DO BETTER!KEEP TRYING!

Although it is smaller compared to water parks for a local pool it is amazing. The price is great for all of the things that people can enjoy. I personally love the lazy river while my kids are huge fans of the slides.

Going here for a swim meet was fun and all, but Maps misguided a lot of people earlier by leading us behind the facility, and Maps doesnt have the parking lot shown on here, so it was hard to find. Please fix Google
