Nice park to take the kids. Because theres a play area with play equipment that seems to be well maintained. The times Ive been there the park wasnt crowded. Next to the play area is pavilion for partys and barbecues. The bathrooms are clean. There is a jogging path that winds around the park. Not a bad place for a family outing if you dont want to go to far.

24 hr. surveillance. You can walk the trail safely. No pond, with mosquitos. No park, but some, not many people walk with their on the trail.Can walk at any hr. of the day. Plenty of trees that provides shade while walking.Get those steps in!

Best part of Lucky Shoals is the paved trail loop. It is challenging - many turns, up and down elevation whether you walk-jog-run the course clockwise or counterclockwise. It is practically all shaded....it is perfect for a summer scorcher day to do your workout. The tree canopy is also ideal during a rainy day...I have done the course during a steady, medium downfall - and really did not get wet (much less soaked).

I am not sure about the rest of the park, but as far as outdoor basketball court goes, they have one of the better ones. Rectangular backboard, plasticky flooring and 2 full courts with good out of bounds spacing and fences all around. During Autumn, falling leaves could be a bit slippery at times.

Great park with a nice walking trail, Atlanta Hawks basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields a gym with a walking track above the courts.

Great park! Very big with an indoor gymnasium, basketball courts, tennis court, soccer fields, and baseball fields! Lots of benches for sitting and relaxing. And a wonderful trail too

Another great park to help unplug from work and crowded apartment life. Plenty of picnic areas, well maintained walking trail, kids play area, softball diamonds and batting cages to occupy all y po ur free time.

Beautiful park complete with a walking and jogging trail. Large and small pavilions to host any size events. Park staff onsite even on Sundays. Clean restrooms and plenty of parking. Playground conveniently located within park.

My kids and I love this park! My boys have grown up playing basketball in this gym. Everyone is always friendly. I read another review about feeling unsafe and being in the woods on the walking trail. The walking trail has nice forestry surrounding it, so you feel like you are deep in the woods in some parts but in actuality you are only a couple of feet away from parking lots, open soccer fields, the gym or playgrounds. I have never felt unsafe but as with any park I remain aware of my surroundings.

No one wears a mask nor practice social distancing. Park itself is nice.

This a gem park facility in the area. A wonderful mile long paved route that’s lit and wide. There’s basketball hoops. There is a huge younger kids playground that my daughter loves. Lots of parking and never crowded. My family loves and uses Lucky Shoals a lot!

Early voting. I hope they continue doing this for a long time. Early voting is a stress-free way to vote. In my timing was perfect there was not even a line.

Its close, clean and spacious. My small issue is that there not a volleyball net set up for play

This park has an amazing indoor gymnasium and basketball court, soccer fields, a running and walking path, and the playground. It is laid out well, clean, and well maintained. Gwinnett County does a remarkable job with its Parks and Recreational Areas. Thank you Gwinnett County.

To much at this park goes on at their basketball court. Shots were fired there the other day over bickering.

Tl;dr: do NOT try to host a major event here because the facilities representatives cannot be trusted to meet their part of the contractWe rented this place out for an all-day sporting event. ~150 people travelled from across the USA to play. As a part of our contract, facilities employees were supposed to arrive early in the morning to help line fields and the field lights were supposed to turn on before it got dark at 6:15pm.The facilities people arrived almost an hour late, so the whole event was delayed by an hour. Players got up super early to be there on time, but they ended up doing nothing for an hour because of this delay.The lights never turned on. We realized this around 7pm as the sun began to set. Its dangerous to play contact sports in the dark with no lighting. We are liable for players who are injured due to unsafe playing conditions. We called the facilities representatives and they refused to provide lighting, even though we had explicitly PAID for it. The event had to be ended prematurely, so some games unfortunately could not be played.

I love this activity center because they always have something fun for kids at a very low price.

We used to come here a lot for table tennis lessons, tournaments and so on. People are very nice and friendly. It is a great place for me and my family to come to play one of my favorite sports.

Came here to learn more about their activities and sports, etc. it looks like it’s a beautiful park & with nice view trails, good parking lot, cute playground, I almost loved it.But then awful, rudely front desk workers; don’t know days, times of anything plus it felt very unsafe, and we got scared walking during the night because of the very tough crowd around.

Great playground! Restrooms available even! Lots of trees. Lots of picnic tables. Huge complex with many fields. Seemingly extensive walking trail. A beautiful place!

This is a great, clean and safe park that I allow my son to go to. He loves to play basketball here so much, that I signed him up for the league here. They had an exciting season, and it was affordable. I totally recommend this park for family fun. No pool in sight tho ️ the only draw back.

Yes for copperhead snake!!! I always care a gun with me in my lady bag, as I have 3 kids with me and just in case anyone want to pull some funky stuff. Trail and park well kept, if not for snakes could be better. Oh, yes, I have license for my metal friend.

This is a great place to work out. I love the walking trail! There are some hills to challenge anyone trying to get in shape. There are lots of shaded area, so if you choose to go mid day, you will be able to tolerate it. This is one of my favorite parks..

Outdoor basketball court We havent played there since they changed the plastic court. Its too easy to get hurt, the ground is too slippery

My daughter loves it there, she meets people there all the time and doesnt want yo leave. The squirrels are aggressive though. Indoor courts are nice, the outdoor courts are uneven and it would be nice if they had a pond to look at for site seeing or at least a creek

Pretty big park for rhe family.

Beautiful and big park. Lot of activities go on for people of all ages. Majority of the visitors are either Hispanic or African American. They have huge fields for soccer and baseball practice. You may have to make a reservation ahead of time if you are planning to have a party or some sort of sports events. They have arrangements for games at night and the rent is reasonable. They also have nice trails for hikers and joggers. Visit here. You wont regret it.

Great place to walk. Doesnt feel like you are near a big city. Can get noisy if people are having events in the outdoor pavilions, but still a good place for families and kids.

I would go to Lucky Shoals for early voting but its also a great park for exercise, hanging out with family and friends or just enjoying scenery.The walking trail is maintained very well. So are the basketball and tennis courts. The soccer fields look good and there are plenty of games going on when I visit.As the gym, its large and clean. There are various events going on all the time, so check out their website for more info.

Riding bike on the trail. Just be cautious of the walkers and runners.

They have multiple fields, basketball and tennis courts, plenty of walking trails, and a large indoor activity center. Many trees so its very shaded on the walking paths and this park is right next door to a golf course. I recommend this park to anyone.

Great park .But could do better on the walking trails.Its a trap for Women to walk alone if any astranged men could be lurking around.Not very safe walking all through the forest with no way out.But to SCREAM WHO IS GOING TO HEAR YOU!!!

I came back here after not being here for a couple of years and it hasnt changed much, but thats not a bad thing. They have spacious soccer fields, lots of picnic tables, and the trail is long and clean. Id recommend bringing your family here.

I love the indoor basketball courts here. They have 2 full size courts. Fee is aeound $2 to play during open gym hours. The floors are always cleaned and well tsken csre of, not slippery. Staff is nice and bathrooms are clean as well.You can also walk indoors as wlell as outdoors trails

If you are looking for a brisk walk to get you in shape, this is the place to go. You wont be disappointed with th trail
