Veterans Memorial Park

I like the fact that there is a park and it is beautifully done. But I have no idea who would make the executive decision to say: Step one lets cut down all the trees. As there is absolutely no shade in this park. The best we could find is around the pond there are some teeny tiny little trees that you could sit under for shade. Otherwise people are forced to use The Pavilions for which you need a license to use. Honestly Id rather go to Hyde Park because there are plenty of large trees around and lots of shade. At Hyde Park you can find a shady quiet spot but it doesnt look to be the case here at Veterans Memorial Park.

Very nice place to hang out with family. Theres a little something for everyone to do. Pavilions are available. Small pond for catch and release fishing. Trail for walking that is paved throughout park and then turns to dirt and stone upon entry into wooded area.(I highly recommend bug spray.)There are signs in the wooded area-kinda confusing but all in all you end up back in the same area. There is a playground for kids with a newly added splash pad area. A building with bathrooms located inside. Plenty of running around space and more. There are also many family friendly activities that go on throughout summer at this location. Dont forget to check out the Veteran Memorial located in the middle of the park too!

Nice quiet trails through fields and a small old swampy wooded trail. Has a great playground too. All trails are paved or very smooth with fine rock paths.

Awesome night of music

Great concert, both bands. Great crowd, people spaced themselves well so there was room to move and not be tripping over each other. When we left there were no empty containers and trash all over the ground. There were plenty of trash cans and recycle containers around and people used them. Nice variety of vendors and charity raffles as well as free give aways. Just a really nice evening at a very comfortable venue with a good group of people.

Nice place to go with. Forends and family for. Free concerts and free parking. Nice wide open area with plenty of room.Bring your chairs and have a fun evening listening to one of the live bands. There are several food and beverage trucks and tents too.

Walking and running trail. Small pond for fishing. Playground and Splash Pad for kids. This park is clean and well kept. One our favorite parks to frequent.

Great music entertainment and great fireworks...they did RIP off the kids with the games though. That was a let down. Then a other game holder....told is to get out of here...glad my kids didnt hear it and I kept my cool.

Nice park! We went for the playground. But there seemed to be many other things to do here. There is a splash pad, picnic pavillions, a pond, a field for flying kites, among other things.

The nerds were fantastic. I will go back often.

Music Monday mania! Final concert of the summer. One of the best summer outdoor venues in western new york. Love this place. Cant wait until next years concerts!

The garage sale was a great sucess . It was in a nice park setting but the parking was hard for someone who was handicapped.

This Park, is beautiful. Its maintained, clean and a very nice place to take the entire family, pets included. There is a walking path, splash pad, ballpark and have scheduled activities, such as concert and movie nights. The best part. Its close to home.

It was away from traffic nice and clean . the pavilions are good size and can accomodate numerous people and various group sizes. And its new.

Great venue for outdoor concerts. They get good bands.

In April of 2017, my baby shower was held at this facility. I thought back then that the hall was clean, the bathrooms were truly above average and my overall experience was memorable. So when it was time to plan my wedding i could thinknof no better place! November, 10 2018 my husband and i were married here. Our alter was placed in front of the (working) fireplace and the hall was decorated beautifully with the help of my parents amd a staff member that was on duty. I will continue to recommend this hall for various types of events and i will continue to think of it for my own occasions should they arise.

Free concerts in the summer. No smoking or vaping allowed. The no vaping part was an annoyance for me.

Great Park. Plenty to do. Real big Fishing Pond, Jogging / Walking Paths, Baseball Diamonds, Bathroom Facilities, Summer Outdoor Concerts, Car Shows, Childrens Play Ground. Very open area. Very nice place and Very Clean.

This park is soo beautiful....they have free concerts on Monday nights during the warmer months....there are food trucks and food tents there....soo good....

Splash pad and playground is great and not too many people even on the weekend

Resevoir park is better because you dont get harrased by town of niagara police. If u are at veterans or use the facilites for anything, you will likely see them and dont do anything wrong because they will harrass or ticket you for anything they can. Nice park to walk the dog on a leash and if like big brother watching you.

Monday night music mania was great. Had alot of fun.

Hands down best town park and rec center. The things they have for the kids to do all uear round is amazing. We just went to see santa and decorate stockings with the kids. They offered hott cocoa and cookies to everyone. Such a great time. We want to thank everyone behind the scenes that makes these things happen. Our kids always love everything!! I would highly recommend everyone!!

Great place to see a concert or shop at the yard sales. Ample parking lots, clean restrooms and very helpful staff. Also pet friendly.

It is very nice the CHRISTMAS lights are beautiful. There are some very nice CHRISTMAS displays.It was a nice evening for a walk.

Love this park, catch and release pond for fishing with the kids. Town of Niagara has lots of events there that are free and also a splash pad in the summer for the kids.

Great place for walking & running. Most dog owners are responsible and keep their dogs leashed but watch out, some feel entitled and let their dogs run and roam.

Love this park. Even though my kids dont play on the playground anymore we still visit for cookouts, special events, and peace/quiet. I have yet to visit and it be messy/dirty (including the restrooms). Maybe add some vending machines? Great job on keeping this place beautiful!!!

Best community park around if you like to walk the dog the best walking trails. Summer concerts something for all the family to do. And many trails in the woods to walk.

The park is well maintained, bathrooms are spotless theres a pond for children to fish in. And the Monday night free concert series is looking very good this year

Wonderful facility and a brand new splash pad -1 for the Coke machine being turned off.

Its a beautiful place and really nice building! Also very well used by yoga classes, SBA programs, Bingo and more!

Probably one of the nicest and cleanest park I have seen. Plus Music Monday and BBC, could not ask for more.
