I love taking the art workshops at Turtle Studios because we all work on our own art together in a studio that values diversity, kindness, and playfulness. No competitive, chilly, showy folks there. I find I can get into the art-making frame of mind easier there than at home because the space inspires creativity and connection. And when I get stuck on a piece there is support from art buddies who offer encouragement and/or good chocolate.
